non payment
this medical aid is unreliable fantasy option ive been diagnosed with tumor whereby I have more than ten years paying medical aid but it cannot complete my procedure even now im still owing Dr's due to non payment the procedure begun and now they must install implants still waiting for the payment I've been trying to get hold of them without success some of the invoices ive been paid them with cash promised to refund me even now im still waiting.

Inconsiderate, Unsympathetic and Apathetic medical aid
One of the most inconsiderate mis informed medical aid there is. They don't cover life threatening surgery's because it's not a PMB. Nevermind the fact that the client can die? You first need to pay your co payment for the tools that is needed for the operation before they would even touch you even if there is no other option when it comes to the operation, they made it clearly that they don't dont care! "If you can't pay there is nothing you can do about it" So now you have to choose between food on the table or getting the operation that you need. Canceling this hospital plan thay they sell as a Medical aid as soon as possible. Bad excuse for a medical aid. Sies!

TERRIBLE SERVICE
I called in to get an auth number for a patient. I was told that DENIS has to give the authorisation number. I told them DENIS told me that Thebemed has to give them them the permission to do load an auth. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO DO? This member is at school and the surgery cannot be postponed

I called in to get an auth number for a patient. I was told that DENIS has to give the authorisation number. Thebemed the worst medical insurance
If no stars where possible I would give it... Ever since I had this medical I've had nothing but problems... I ad to go for dental treatment (root canal) now I was notified by the dentist office they only paid R700 from a almost R7000 bill. Reason being that they don't pay for root canals I mean that is literally one of the most common dental treatments... So I'm looking for a different medical insurance provider... Never I repeat never use Thebemed you'll pay your monthly fees and get little to no cover

Poor service from Medical aid
I am very disappointed in this medical aid they don't cover basic treatments like physiotherapy gynaecology and so forth... Most medications are also not covered.... They basically take your money every month for stuff you never use and still have to pay extra for everything.... Very un satisfied
