This afternoon i spent close to R1000 at Menlyn Top CD <br> <br> . I bought a Fifa 2016 Ps3 game and dvds for my husband &daughter.I gave the guy at the counter the sample paid and thought he gave me the actual thing . The sales guy told me to go get something taken off at the 2nd counter which i did.After that two ladies checked my plastics one at a second counter and one at the door and 3 Top Cd Staff members cant pick up that i have been given a Sample!! Then the lady has a nerve to put a<br> Stamp saying that ill be held liable for anything once i leave the store which i did not sign. I want my R700 back first thing in the morning!Such ridiculous service how can you sell me sample for R700.Im handing the sales consultant a sample at the till from the floor only for him to put it in my plastic bag and none of them identifies this?!What scam is this? Refund me my money tomorrow.Now we are sitting here with sample instead of a game we thought we purchased!

Ordered a dvd from TopCD in March last year and was told 3 weeks till delivery. After a lot of correspondence and fights decided to cancel the order end of last year as I still didn't receive the dvd. Got one sms after the other in the beginning of the year that the dvd had arrived and decided to go and collect it after all. I went there this morning to collect the order only to learn that the dvd has been sent to Kolonnade Branch! Can these people not get anything right?

I went to the Top CD today at Menlyn Shopping Center looking for headphones for my ps4. I really liked the turtle beach 500p headphones. The price on it was marked at R1749.95. I was ready to buy them and took them to the till. Upon scanning the headset they told me the total was R2300 for the headset. I asked to see the manager as it is unfair that I was mislead by the price sticker. The lady told me that she was the manager and that there was nothing she could do. I feel it is was unfair as the Consumer Protection Act states the following: In section 23(6) 'a supplier must not require a consumer to pay a price for any goods or services: (a) higher than the displayed price for those goods or services'. <br> <br> The manager offered to sell the item for me for R2 000 and when I declined, I got a rude response instead of being treated with respect.

I ordered a recipe book from the Top CD at Menlyn, I paid the deposit of R100 and they told me it would take about 8 weeks to get the book. After 3 months of not hearing anything from them I went back to the store to find out what was going on! I gave them my slip, and the guy looked on the system - after a few minutes he told me that the book is out of print. <br> <br> Now I am fine with everything, except the fact that no one made an effort to let me know! They did not call me, to tell me the book is out of print - they just did NOTHING! Then to top it off the guy helping me had such a bad attitude towards me. If I didn't go and ask about the book they would have probably done nothing from their side to let me know that it's out of print!<br> <br> For me it is a case of professionalism. If a book is out of print - fine - but let the customer know! Or make sure that the book is still in print BEFORE the customer pays and waits. <br> <br> I am a regular customer at the Top CD in Menlyn, mostly because of the amazing service I received. But the past few times I visited them and after what happened on Sunday, 17 October 2015, I honestly don't see any point in supporting the Top CD at Menlyn anymore. <br>

I ordered a recipe book from the Top CD at Menlyn, I paid the deposit of R100 and they told me it would take about 8 weeks to get the book. I had ordered a dvd from Top CD in Menlyn in April this year and paid the deposit. I was told that I would have the dvd within 3 weeks. After receiving no feedback from the store, I started enquiring regarding the status of my order and after numerous communications between myself and the manager of the store, I have collected my deposit form the store today without anyone even offering an apology for the non delivery. The service received from this store is absolutely poor but with this level of leadership (or the lack thereof) one cannot expect anything more from the personnel?!

I would like to thank the above store, management and the persons involve in this matter for the great service received.<br> I purchase a Volkano Speaker on Saturday 15/08/2015 and when at home we found that it do not work. On Sunday I report this over the telephone to the store and did they promise to replace the item for me. As I am living 200km away from the nearest store they still kept to the promise and replace it via a courier service.<br> This is what I call service.<br> Kept the customer inform. Keep their promises. And replace the faulty equipment without any questions.<br> From the word go they kept me inform and phone every day to inform me what is going to happen, they kept the promises and replace the speaker without any questions. <br> With this service you can not go wrong, kept up the good work. You will see me every time if I go to Pretoria even if I do not need a new cd I will purchase one from this store.

On the 2 April 2015 I ordered a DVD from Top CD The Grove. I returned on the 6th April and was told by the sales assistant that the DVD have not arrived, but that they did in fact have one on the shelf that I bought for R149.99.<br> However on Friday the 10 April 2015 I received an SMS from the store that the DVD I ordered have arrived for R59.99.I returned to the shop, with the DVD still in it's original packaging,with the price R149.99 on, but without the sales slip. I explained the situation to the manager, asking if I can return the more expensive one and buy the one that they ordered for me. The manager stated that they cannot refund me and that she was unable to confirm the sale on the system. (Despite me giving her the date and the time of the sale). She also explained that the price of the DVD on the system was now R59.99 and that she could not refund me R149.99.<br> After being loyal customers of Top CD for many years, we will certainly consider taking our business elsewhere in the future.
