Rude agents
On Friday, June 14, 2024, I noticed a severe issue with a sewer leak in my apartment building. A plumber was then sent to attend to the matter but the leak started again shortly after including one other place too near my building. Despite the urgency of the matter, I had to wait until Tuesday, June 18, 2024, before contacting their office, as no remedial action had been taken by then after the second leak. During my call, I was met with a dismissive and rude attitude from the first lady I spoke with. I tried to explain the gravity of the situation and the inconvenience it was causing, but she was unhelpful and discourteous. Following this interaction, I was transferred to a second lady. I expressed my displeasure regarding the unprofessional conduct of her colleague and the lack of prompt response to the sewer issue. Unfortunately, the second representative also responded rudely, which only exacerbated my frustration.

Topaz Thieves
Never ever use these clowns. They have been voted out by 98% of the home owners and due to a family relative of the business owners who slipped onto the body corporate without disclosing the conflict of interest didn't file the votes in time, they continue to take the home owners money monthly while not delivering ANY service. Fraudulent, corrupt, dishonest and out right disgusting

Excellent Service and Attitude Greytjie Erasmus
I am a new tenant, moved into the property in December 2020. Greytjie has been such a gem to work with, always friendly. If I have a complaint she sorts it out within that same day, given feedback and fighting for her tenants and making sure the unit is maintained. I would Highly recommend Topaz Properties for your rental needs. Even over a weekend when I ask for help she is on her post. EXCELLENT ! Thank you

Excellent Service and Attitude Greytjie Erasmus
I am a new tenant, moved into the property in December 2020. Greytjie has been such a gem to work with, always friendly. If I have a complaint she sorts it out within that same day, given feedback and fighting for her tenants and making sure the unit is maintained. Bad service
I sent a list of things that needed to be fixed in the flat 2 weeks before I moved in and I did a follow up and they said everything was fixed. When I moved in nothing was fixed literally the flat was in a bad condition since nothing was fixed and the bathroom was not clean at all. I called the office to ask what is happening since they said it was fixed. Yho the lady was so rude she started shouting at me like a 5 year old child when I asked her why was she shouting at me she hung up the phone.

Bad service

Horrible Rental Agent
If you know what is good for you, never ever rent with this agency. Even if they have listed their properties for R5. Getting them to maintain their apartment is horrifying, one excuse that Grykie gives is that they apparently fully booked. You can report a toilet not flushing and you will be told its fully booked. When I moved into their apartment I had to clean up from scratch, it was so dirty but I let it slide because I thought perhaps the apartment had been empty for too long. You'd think a reputable agency will get a cleaning company to prepare it for you but not Topaz Properties. Nobody was there to do a move in inspection but with moving out they come through just so they can rip off your deposit. Besides the R350 excl VAT amount they charge for inspection they will even charge you R175 for transport, I dont know why they have properties outside PTA if they will expect tenants to transport them. They will also charge you for not cleaning the windows when you move out, I thought that is something the body corp takes care of, besides its not like their windows are clean. Quick to send you pictures of what is not up to standard when you move out but never provide pictures of how it looked when you moved in. I paid a deposit of R5500 when I moved in but over two years it never gained any interest, that time I paid it into their account. They stripped off my deposit to R4300 and they told me they don't want to hear an excuse of I found it this way, perhaps its cause they know their apartment's are never clean. Makes sense why when I moved out 14 other tenants were also leaving, they really don't deserve any business. Nobody deserves to go through such a horrifying experience and I am going to make sure I spread the word in every public platform so no one will ever have to deal with this. Good people I repeat even if they list properties for R5 don't sign any contract with them, they are nothing but a bunch of thieves that cover themselves with a contract

Topaz Properties -Horrifying Service
by far the worst estate agent, they drag their feet in maintaining their properties. Appaling customer service from their maintenace department especially Grykie Erasmus she does not come back to you on any maintenance issues. She is rude, emotional and fails to take the requisite action .

Topaz Properties ratchet rentals.
I tell you a story of this people. Everything is a mess here from the Administration office to the on the ground Maintance team. They use multiple bank accounts on different names for the said Estate Agency. They head ratchet units in dodgy complexes and charge high rates. They use old images of the buildings to lure you into renting/buying their property. They use uns****ed foreigners particularly Zimbabweans to do their painting and they claim is renovations. They do not attend to any of their client/s challenges in the units. They expect you to fix any peroblem you encure in the unit, be it electrical of plumbing, they always come up with ****ty excuses.
