Thank you to Oupa, Sam and Ronny at Venter Trailer Boksburg. Your friendly and efficient service is greatly appreciated. Even assiting me to get the correct shocks for my bakkie canopy and not even buying from your company, you still installed them for me. Wow!!! You restored my faith that there are still people and companies that care and put in effort, and being friendly at the same time, without me purchasing the shock from your company. Well done.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍

I would like to compliment Venter Trailers Boksburg on the great effortless buying experience. We had a great experience doing business with them. The sales person Mariana Strydom put in allot of effort to get the deal done in a record time. I want to thank them for going the exstra mile to wait for us after closing time to do the delivery. Thanks guys keep up the good work.

We have been renting Venter Trailers almost now for the last 20 years from Venter Trailers Westgate. We rented a Venter Trailer from Venter for the past weekend as we went away. On Friday when we packed the trailer's wheels were flat and we had to stop at the garage first to pump the tyres. On our way back from our trip we had to stop in Brits to make sure that tyres of the trailer is still fully inflated. We were at the turn off at Kromdraai when our relatives (in the second car) informed us that the tyre of the venter was flat, we had to pull off at Kromdraai (next to the road) to check the tyres. The wheel of the venter was totally flat, we did not have any tools (did not receive any from Venter) to jack the venter to change the tyre. Our relatives had to drive to the petrol station to try and get a T-spanner to enable us to get the tyres off. After a long struggle we were able to get the wheel off, stuggelling to get the spare wheel off because it was fitted with lock we were able to get the spare tyre off. After almost an hour later we were able to get the spare wheel on the venter, but needless to say the spare wheel was also flat, so we had to go back to the petrol station to get it pumped. Not even 5min after the spare wheel was on, we heard that the wheel was flat again, we were able to get to the petrol station, getting there we picked up that all the valves on the tyres were broken and the spare wheel had 3 wholes in the tyre. When we returned the trailer to Venter Westgate this morning, we informed the lady that is working there that the trailer gave us problems, the spare was flat, and the valves on the other tyres were al broken. She became rude with us and told us the we sign a form stating that we take full responsibility of the trailer when leaving the store (which is all good, but very impossible if you have no spares or tools to help yourself) and when we asked her to provide us with the number of the Owner from that store she refused to give us the number, advising us that he was on a hunting trip. I think this is very unprofessional because you rent it to the consumers and they don't take any responsibility when something goes wrong. Our whole family's life were in danger because we had to pull of on side of the road, with a 1 year old baby, 3 ladies (1 which is pregnant) and 2 males. All that Venter did was to say "oh sorry". We are still waiting for the Owner to phone us back. 6 Months ago we also rented a Venter, we were in the Freestate and on our way back the axel of the Venter Broke and also no tools to fix the trailer and nobody to contact for emergency. Venter just pull up there shoulders.

I am in the market for a 2 X high value trailers. So I go and google venter trailers. Website is a mess for over a week now. So wanting to get the deal moving I phone in to Venter trailers. A very polite lady answered and tells me no one can help me as she does not know where they are. Really!!! She wanted me to phone back, so I say no you need to get one of your sales people to send me your broacher showing the range of trailers. I get an email within an hour and another lady asks what trailer I want. I answer saying why is it so difficulty to get the range of Venter Trailers via email. Now nothing. They must be doing real well to push customers away. So Venter trailers you can shove your broacher. I will go to your opposition and buy their product.

Bought a extension box for my Super5. To save costs drove to Johannesburg to pick it up. Got it nicely packed and the salesperson was very helpful. Back at home unpacked it and found that the item was scratched and dented. Phone the salesperson and complained about it. The salesperson came back to me and said I must bring the item back. Got no problem with it, but for the extra cost. The person that did the packaging, should have checked to not pack a damaged item.

I received a quote for an extension for my trailer with a tailgate R4940 and my friends who does not have a tailgate R4610. Only to be charged R5240, R300 more a few days later when I had the extension fitted . So the first issue is that Venter does not honor their quotes. A few days later I start packing for my Dec holiday only to discover that I cannot use my tailgate on the extension because they fitted the gas rider to the tailgate!!! I needed the tailgate so I disconnected the gas rider, which in turn made the top lid extremely heavy. Once back from holiday I return my trailer to Venter Princess Crossing, spoke to Rory who first helped me, who passed me onto Daniel who said that he told me that the tailgate would not work with the conversion (not extension) that I had fitted extra. Then why would I have bought the extension with a tailgate then? At an extra cost of R330 for something I cannot even use. Venter should have advised me to rather go for the Elite extension instead, or am I wrong? If Daniel had told me as he said above, then I would have decided otherwise, he has no proof thereof. And why is this not indicated in the 2 quotes I received? I said in that case I want the correct extension fitted and a refund. Daniel spoke to his boss, Mr Bell who refuses to honor their mistake. So I have paid an extra R630 for an extension with a tailgate I cannot use and I was overcharged. I feel this is daylight robbery, especially from a brand such as Venter who take you for a ride knowing that you have nowhere else to go when purchasing their products.

I bought a new Venter Bushbaby mid November 2015 from the above mentioned dealer. Before collection I was assured by the dealer principal that all the paperwork is in order, the number plates are sorted and the trailer was ready for collection.

When arriving at the dealer none off the paperwork have been done and no number plates have been made. I was then told by the dealer principal that they do not handle this outside of gauteng (although he was aware that I am from outside of gauteng beforehand and letting me pay a registration fee of +-R2000). I disagreed with him and he made some \phone calls\" and told me I was right he should of done it.

The next excuse was that the registration departments are striking, but he will have it sorted within that week. The he said he will give me a permit for the trailer, but just before leaving the dealership he asked me to pay for it. Then he promised me that he will reimburse me for the inconvenience caused by paying R800 into may account. This has not happened..

Since then I have only heard excuses of why my trailer cannot be registered. I have a trailer that I cannot use on public roads because the dealer failed to honor our agreement."

Bought a new trailer. Had following issues:

- on delivery the lid of the trailer did not line up and the cone's hinges were loose
- when it was collected the lid was still not fixed and the wiring harness was torn
- on first use the rivets for the lid all popped out and the brake lights were not working
- now the trailer has been returned and has to go back to factory but only on the 18th.
- the verbal assaults from both the salesperson and the manager have been unacceptable.

Comments such as what the f$$$ is wrong now, raising voices. Just not acceptable.

Would definitely not recommend this supplier as they do not take ownership of the issues.
