I want to express my unhappiness with VW Polokwane car services, i did recieve a good service from Deon who is a service advisor, however the guys who servicing my car took my spare tyre and replaced with a torn , damaged tyre...i took my car there on the 20th of June 2023..mind you i just replaced my tyres in may at Supa Quick montana and they made a spare wheel for me which was perfectly fine. to my surprise this weekend when i was checking my car i find a torn replaced tyre,i want the culprit to be held accountable for theft. if there are cameras there please ensure that they check who stole my tyre, so i can open a case about this...i drive long distances and its a life threatening to drive without a tyre that is been ****** at the premises of vw. it is very wrong and *********. i want my tyre back asomblief.

VW South Africa has launched a campaign on airbags for certain cars. I tried to make a booking with VW Polokwane. Their service sucks. The salesperson said it is not possible to book the car in for a Saturday because they only work on the cars that would pay either cash or through a motor plan. The manager said it could be booked in. I held on to the phone for forever and never got connected. They say a waiting period for a call to be connected is 1 minute. Indeed, the calls before mine were answered promptly. I was caller number 4. The three calls before me were answered very quickly, but I held for forever

I bought a used VW Golf 7 Gti from Master cars Polokwane in May 2021.I was also advised to buy the maintenance plan from VW and I agreed. It was explained to me that I should not worry about fixing the vehicle as VW maintenance plan will take care of everything. In two months time, brake pads needed to be replaced.I took the car to the workshop and was told the brake pads fitted on my car are not from VW and they can't work on my car,the very same people who sold me the maintenance plan two months back are now refusing to fix my car.The service advisor by the name of Stephanie Maredi has been very awful in terms of customer service, she has dropped the calls on my ear for more than 3times. I have also found out that the vehicle sold to me was repaired in the front but was told the car is accident free. The car has another problem now, the corner light does not work anymore. At first they promised to fix it and the car has been in and out of their workshop. They then decided that I need to pay for the repairs of the light. There has been blame shifting for the past 3months.Mastercars sales manager by the name of Lloyd says one thing today and tomorrow it's a new thing.I think there's internal bad vibes amongst them and it's affecting me as the customer.I wouldn't advise anyone to do business with VW Polokwane based on the experience I have so far.I have so far received a very bad, pathetic and poor service.Nobody cares in this dealership.

I took my car for service on the 25 Jan 2022 for and in less than 500km travelled after service my car started losing power which never happened. On the 07 March 2022 I tried to call in to ask if i need to booked it for another service however spend a day trying to connect to the service agent.(Deon) with no luck. On the o8 March 2022 i took my car in to ask in person. Instead the Tech (Dirk) was receiving too many complaints on the day as per him and the service agent (Deon). When Dirk finally came to check my car, the only thing i got was to book my car for another service on the 09 March 2022 as he had too many car on the day and won't have time for my car. I booked another service with Deon who now explains that if the cause of my car losing power was due to the previous service done in Jan 2022, they will fix at no cost as my car is still under warranty for the service done however if not just for diagnose i will be charged ±R1200 if i choose not to accept thier new quotation and if i accept their quotation the diagnose will be covered. I find this to be ridiculous as my car never had power issues since they worked on it and there were no warning light of the power issue on my dash. VW Polokwane is just taking advantage of me. On the 09 March 2022 i took my car back to VW Polokwane and i was told it was "coil" that was making my car ro loose power. Which cost me R3800.00 and i was told that this was not due the service i had in less than a month ago. I paid and collected my car however never will i take my car to VW Polokwane or recommend it to anyone. I still feel exploited by thier bad service.☹☹☹

Absolutely disgusted by the actions of the Salesmen at VW Mastercars Polokwane. Initially I inquired with regards to a vehicle that was listed on cars.co.za by sending them a message over the weekend. The Monday morning I phoned them out of my own to find out if the vehicle was available. The one salesperson said that he will get back to me regarding availability, which he did. He informed me that the car has been sold two weeks ago but he will speak to his manager to see if he can give me another one with similar low mileage for the same price. While I was waiting for the salesperson to get back to me, another salesperson responded to my initial inquiry online. I had told him I was already in contact with another person in the dealership. He continued talking to me telling me that he would assist me in any way. He stated they have another model on the floor, 2020 with 18 000km on the clock in perfect condition. He walked around the vehicle explaining all detail. He then continued to state that he will give me the Polo for a price of R172 000 and that he is the "boss" and will make the decision. He continued badmouthing the dealership and managers in general, stating they are trying to squeeze out profit from all corners. Not him, he was there to help people etc (this continued easily for 10 minutes). I proceeded to email him all my documents after he confirmed multiple times I can have the Polo Vivo for R172 000. I sent him my bank statements, id, proof of residence, etc and by his specific verbal instruction went ahead and cancelled an existing offer I had going at another dealership for a similar car. I then receive a call from the "first" salesperson. I informed him that his co-worker gave me the aforementioned price on the vehicle. He told me that price is not possible and he wasn't able to give it to me at that price point. I then started wondering what was going on as he had ensured me that I can have it with cer*****y. I contacted the salesperson who gave me that specific price (and who I sent all my documents to) and he gave me the cold shoulder stating that he cant help me anymore. I then proceeded to contact the sales manager at the branch to get to the bottom of this. He listened to my story and stated that if that is true and the salesperson gave me that price, they will have to uphold that price and that the salesmen would have to pay the difference. The manager then proceeded to request the 20 minute conversation recording I had with the salesman (from their IT department). Eventually the manager phoned me. He stated that he had listened to my conversation with the salesperson and that everything I stated was correct and the salesperson shouldn't have acted the way he did. He proceeded to say that the salesman would be held liable for the balance above cost of the vehicle. He then also CONVENIENTLY proceeded to tell me that the vehicle in question has accident damage and has had work done on the left and rear side. Obviously trying to put me off completely. The vehicle had been listed on the floor for almost full market price and a mere R25 000 from new price (2020 Polo Vivo, 18 000km, R199 000 on the showroom floor. New price at the time of writing R225 000). Not once did any of the two salesmen say anything other that the vehicle was in perfect condition. Now all of a sudden that the manager has to commit to a lower price the vehicle is all of a sudden an accident damaged car. Please be cautious of specifically this dealership, they will say anything to anyone. They are not trained correctly and conduct themselves unethically. It's a shame that a person has to go through this back and forth lying and scheming just trying to find a vehicle, especially at a VW dealership (you don't expect this kind of treatment). This process has put me off dealing with VW in entirety and will unfortunately be taking my business elsewhere. If this post has saved someone else from this unethical experience then it has served it's purpose.
