Phone was booked in twice already for repairs but the phone still freezes. I pay my monthly insurance but they want me to book the device in again for third time. Horrible service. Phone freezes then the screen is black

3G Mobile ****s customers. When I queried a payment, no response was given, however, when I wanted to verify their account details, I received a prompt reply to assure me the bank account details that I have is that of 3G Mobile, so I paid. let me give a background: I am very saddened by your unfair and absurd behaviour when I tried to get my phone repaired. On August 30, the repair centre received my Nokia F20BTX1892025 (as per 3G Mobile SMS). On 31 August, I received another SMS stating the phone was out of warranty and the quote for repairs came to R1868,22. I bought the phone from Ackermanns for R2400. (R2400-R1868,22=R531,78), this means the repair cost is 77.84% of the purchase price. Let me simplify: If I buy a car for R100 000, the repair cost would be R77 840, 00. Does this look plausible to you or are you in the business of *********** customers? This, however, is not even the big rip-off. I rejected the quote and was asked to pay R302,63 (according to your SMS received on 14 September 2023. No explanation was given as to why I must pay R302,63. Only when I collected the phone from Ackermans did I see I paid for the assessment and I suppose the courier costs. So, are you telling me that I must pay for an assessment after I have explained in detail the problem with the phone or was I charged for the determination of the quote’s costs? I am in business as well and when my customers send me a job, I assess what needs to be done, draw up a quote and inform the customer, THE QUOTE IS FREE. If the customer rejects the quote, I try to establish common ground that is mutually acceptable to both parties. In the event the customer still rejects the quote, I DO NOT CHARGE FOR QUOTE DETERMINATION, ASSESSMENTS OR EVALUATIONS. However, you charge for a rejected quote, I accept payment of the courier costs, but not the assessment because you were informed of the nature of the problem. That is not even the bad part, in your SMS, you never stated a reason for the R302,63 charge. I hereby CLAIM BACK the R302,63 charge on the basis as described. I know your response would be that I signed that I may pay charges, if applicable. But then be upfront and disclose what charges may apply, or are you going to tell me I should have read the fine print? I have not heard a squeak from 3G Mobile, so am I to accept that rejecting repairs comes at a cost?

After buying a defective Nokia phone from Ackerman's 14th Ave Hyper, we booked the unit in for repairs. the phone was returned and after months of waiting we were told that a software update had been done. the phone was still faulty and glitching. we returned the phone to the store, and it was sent to 3G mobile again. I received a SMS stating that the phone was out of warranty due to water damage, a complete lie as the phone was faulty from the day that we opened the box in store. (wouldn't charge properly) 3G Mobile claimed that we would need to Pay over R1000.00 for it to be repaired or pay a R300.00 rejection fee. This is absolute ******* and nonsense. when I called 3G Mobile the rude lady on the phone stated that I am not allowed to call them, and that Ackerman's must do so. they refuse to give the phone back stating I should now pay R600.00 rejection fee for the first assessment done, where they stated that a software update was done.?????? Still waiting for the carefree staff and management at Ackerman's to respond. the phone is still within warranty.

I bought a phone at Markham, 8 months down the line it had a problem with the screen so I took it back to Markham and they booked it with 3G mobile for repairs. A week later they sent me an sms stating that the phone was out of warranty and that I had to pay R2500 (more than half the original price of the phone) to have it fixed. If not, they would charge me a R350 rejection fee. I then contested this because it is ridiculous, the phone was definitely still under warranty and it had no physical damage. Now they have returned the phone to the store claiming that the phone had water damage and I am required to pay the rejection fee before they hand it back. This is nothing but a ploy to scam customers. I am extremely appalled by both 3G mobile and Markham for this. They have lost a loyal customer who has been shopping at the store for more than 15 years. I will also be closing my account soon.

Afternoon Can you kindly assist me report a pathetic service I'm receiving from 3gmobileservices. I've last sent my device for repair on the 27th of January 2021. They have claimed that my phone is a physical damage so I need to pay R759 for them to fix it. I did as told(made a payment to a given account no.) but now they are busy making excuses. What worse is that they don't even answer their phone. Please help me report this
