The staff in East London have been helpful, patient and honest. My iPhone battery gave problems but instead of just selling me a new one, they went out of their way to find ways of extending its life. They deserve success

Took my laptop in for a charger port repair. Got it back and the repair was done but I couldn’t log in. After numerous phone calls and visits and WhatsApp’s I got a password that didn’t work. They had changed it! Arrive there today to be told the technician won’t be in till 11 and I say I just want to be able to get into my computer to put the password in and tell me what it is. He can’t even do it it’s now stuck on caps lock and he says it’s my fault. He was belligerent and refused to acknowledge the fact that it hasn’t worked since January and now I have to pay them R950 to completely reset the computer when it is they fault it doesn’t work. No thank you. The east London shop is completely useless and the guy who works on the equipment has terrible customer service and so do the rest of the staff ( who were not wearing masks may I add). Will never use them again

<p>i bought some items from the store and when I wanted to return one of the item in less then an hour of purchasing it, they told me that they have a no return policy, it was never opened or was it used. There is nowhere in the store or on their invoice where they state that they have a no return policy. I have never dealt with such unprofessional people in my entire life, the owner is worse. I am so disgusted by the store that I advise people to be careful. They tried to take chances but when I mentioned that I will bring a lawyer to the store they suddenly became God fearing people who are willing to return the money. i am still in shoc****!</p>

<p>I took my Samsung A5 in for repiars at the Appleberry at the Discovery building in Sandton. I wanted my LCD to be replaced as well as the sim card reader. As noted on the the form Ashique filled out, the only pysical damage on my phone were slight scratches on the housing and the broken LCD on the inside.</p> <p> </p> <p>Ashique said the sim reader was fine and the only thing I would need to repair was the LCD. He went on to advise me to go back to the previous business that had attempted fo fix my phone before and ask them to fix my LCD since they managed to repair my screen but not the LCD. I rejected Appleberry's quote as a result and apon collecting my device, I found my screen full of cracks and the screen was also parshly detched from the phone. This was after returning twice with your employee saying they couldnt find my phone. I was told that the phone was collected in that condition which was a lie (we both inspected the phone for physical damages before it went in and this was not noted on the form) and that returning my phone in the state that it was found was pointless if it was going in for repairs anyway.</p> <p> </p> <p>If a customer trusts you with their devices, plesae return them in the same condition as you found them in. Ashique proceeded to argue with me in this regard instead of apologising for returning my phone in that cracked state. If I was told my phone would be returned cracked due to the fact that it had to be assessed I would not have used AppleBerry's services. My phone has been with you for 3 DAYS for a quote!!! 3 DAYS!!! I have been inconvinienced and belittled by Ashique. He is a lying, arrogant employee who is never at his post at work. I still dont have my phone and am told it might only be available on Monday. Another one of your employees had to intervene due to his appalling service. My experiance with AppleBerry was disgusting and unacceptable!!!</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>

I took my phone in for a charge pin repair and after untold problems it was fixed. Later in the year the LCD cracked and i took it in again to it replaced and it never was the same. I cannot believe the unprofessional manner in which matters are handled at VIP. I was accused of breaking my phone and Being ungrateful. As well as being told the world does not revolve around me. i was told i will be sued for defamation if I tell the truth of what happened. I was asked to provide an affidavit stating that the phone broke in their care for insurance purposes which i did and was later told that the claim was cancelled because the phone was fixed. When i asked for proof no one can reply to confirm the cancellation. I have a detailed letter highlighting all the problems as it happened. Today my phone was returned to me by one of their contractors who was never given permission to pick up my phone . How can they allow anyone to just return peoples phones without the work slips issued by VIP. Management never returns a call. Please can you advise me further i really am at my wits end. I did not have a phone for most of the year. Lost out on data as well as revenue. Many thanks.

I took my sony Ericson m4 aqua for a replacement screen witch was fitted . it took very long for them to repair , when I got it back .it had problems with the display . I took it back and waited months for it to be repaired but they told me its un repairable . they told me that they will refund some of the moneys . various times I called I was promised a call back . even today I was promised that I will be called in 5 minutes . phoned back and was told the manager is on the phone . i'm suspecting that he will not call at all . its easy 6 moths now but they are stalling . there contact number is

I have given my phone and ipad on 18 October 2014 for an assessment and asked to be quoted before a repair was done. after weekly visits to the branch and being constantly redirected I was only told a few weeks ago that they have lost/disposed of my devices. they tried using the disclaimer that if goods weren't fetched they can dispose of it, however, I refused to accept that as I enquire of it almost weekly. <br> <br> in October, they said that they can either compensate me or I can pay a difference for a working device regarding the iPad. I asked for feedback for both devices. I got none. this week I was told that they looking for phone records to see if they had called me to fetch the device. this strategy was used many times by many people before a stalling tactic as was simply directing me to new staff members so that staff that is well aware of the fault/query does not have to deal with the issue that is obviously on their side. I have seen numerous queries from this company that are similar to mine

I handed my Samsung Tab in at the Eastgate Branch for repairs. I was told that I would have to pay R180 assessment fee if they were unable to fix the device. Over the course of a month I received so many phone calls from so many different people saying different things, that I could not keep head or tail. One call said that the device had been repaired and I could come collect it. Then I was told that it was not repaired and needed a master reset, would I be OK to lose all the data, to which I gave my go ahead. I received yet another call a week later to ask my permission for the very same thing, which irritated me as I had already said they should go ahead. I then received a message last Friday to say that they could not repair the unit and I best come and fetch my device by month end as they were moving away from Eastgate. I went in to collect my device yesterday and was handed the slip to sign as acceptance of collection. There were so many hand written notes on this document that I am not suprised that they had no idea of what had actually been done on my unit. Now I discover my screen protector was removed and not replaced! Unacceptable. I am not impressed at all!
