I am very disappointed with the level of service received from Assupol regarding an insurance claim our office has been assisting with. The claim was initially submitted in April 2025, and despite full cooperation and the submission of all requested documentation, the matter remains unresolved nearly a year later.Throughout this period we have responded to every request from the claims department and have made several follow-ups. In January 2026, we were informed that the matter could not be processed because the monthly quota had already been reached and that it would be referred for February scheduling.We are now well past that period and there has been no meaningful feedback or indication of progress.The prolonged delay and lack of communication in handling this matter has been extremely frustrating and falls far below the level of service one would reasonably expect.

Since January trying to cancel assupol policy,and in February their consultant called after sending numerous emails for cancellation,i was told to that i will be repaid for the money deducted in February but again in March they have deducted,i hate the run around i am given when they have to cancel their policy

I would like to lodge a formal complaint against Assupol Life Insurance for failing to process(pay out/reject) a funeral claim after 18 days since the claim was submitted. We had to privately contribute money as a family to conduct the funeral which is unfair considering the deceased has a policy with Assupol. I believe that Assupol has not been transparent or openly communicative about the claims process,they have not honoured their brand promise or what was communicated on the phone that they take 5 days to process a funeral policy claim. Assupol has not prioritised their customer or treated the deceased policyholder or the beneficiary with dignity. I have now requested the Long Term Insurance Ombudsman to urgently intervene and ensure that: Assupol processes the claim or communicates formally if the claim is rejected without further delay.I further ask that the feedback is provided in writing and that the beneficiary is called telephonically to apologise and to communicate the outcome of the claims process.

I have never spoken to anyone from Assupol life, I have never taken a single policy from Assupol life. This is ***** and seriously concerning. They need to close shop. They've turned to be the worst insurance company ever. I claimed on my retirement annuity and it took 3 months for them to attend to my claim. I had to send numerous emails to follow up and when they had to payout, they alleged that they payed all my monies to SARS. Worst of all the is no payment made to SARS at all. No proof of payment was send to me. There's also no transparent communication with clients. I would not recommend them to anyone.
