I had insurance with them for over 1 year . I claimed once and the service I got was the poor. My car had an engine problem ( crankshaft sensor) and they covered for engine components for atleast R5k . I was surprised their assessor said it’s an ignition issue because he didn’t want to pay , he only wanted to pay 1 k . I had to pay for myself after over a month. Even that 1 k they haven’t paid it to date . When you call them .i the receptionist are rude and ***********. I’ll advise people not to join this **** of company. Was advised even by dealer that they are the worst , rather try dot. Sure warranty. I even cancelled it and still waiting for my lousy 1 k

I'm not happy with Bidvest mechanical warranty. I had problem with my car and I informed but they didn't attend my problem until I fix my car, after I fix my car I informed them that I fixed the car because they didn't want to attend my problem. Bidvest request me to send them invoices and last service of the car while on the agreement car service is not included. I pay them every month but they ****med me.

Bidvest car warranty did me dirty , still waiting for 3 weeks and more now for their assistant , empty promises was made first time when I take my cover now I’m stucked and they do not seem to care, according to them they assist within 48 hours , which is a lie .I feel I am paying for nonsense

Its almost one week that I have submitted my motor warranty claim and I have had no feedback, my car is sitting at the repairer for almost 2 weeks now with nothing, no feedback at all. My premiums were paid in full when I purchased my vehicle and every time I call in, they tell me its sitting with the claims assessor. I have submitted every single document they require, I have been patient and kind to every call center agent I have spoken to, its been way more than 48 hour turn around time and yet nothing, no feedback at all. PLEASE CAN SOMEONE ASSIST ME

Its been more than a month since I claimed and this company has been a complete nightmare. My claim has been delayed for over a month with no resolution, and when I tried to escalate, the claim assessor Blessing Makhanya outright refused to even take my call. Instead of using accredited suppliers, they want to cut costs with third-party suppliers and hide behind policy wording to avoid accountability. They show no urgency, no transparency, and no respect for their customers. If you value your time, money, and sanity — stay far away from this company.

Its been more than a month since I claimed and this company has been a complete nightmare. Their service is poor and they make false promises I cancel the policy with them and they did sent me something which says the policy is canceled and they said I'm gonna get a pro rata refund within 3 days but up to this far they didn't do that but what surprises me is that today they go to my account and do debit order for the same policy i cancelled with them

I have been paying Bidvest Warranty for almost 4 years and last week was my second time claiming but their service leaves much to be desired. I submitted a claim last week and no one came back to me until I called and was informed that they need the odometer and disk picture. The required pictures were sent on 29/07 but was sent from pillar to post until I insisted to speak to a manager and was told that there was no manager (which is strange). After insisting, I was put through to a lady who told me that she is the claims team leader. She then promised to refer my claim to the assessor and they would call me before end of business on 31/07. I am yet to receive that call.

Its more like 1-2 weeks, while the customer to paid for this service sits without a vehicle. Poor attitude from all in warranty, especially Zanele. No urgency or assistance to escalate a matter that is long overdue. You get false promises every day when you phone, that youll receive feedback before close of business on each day. You wont, you will have to sit in a que for 1 hour waisting airtime for the same bull**** response. Stay very far away from Bidvest as a whole, its not worth anyones time and most likely will never get the help you need even after paying that much for a service. Major disappointment.
