I visited Botshelong Hospital on September 15th to see a patient. After visiting hours, at around 8:09 PM, I discovered that the rear window of my vehicle had been smashed. I immediately reported this to the hospital security, but they claimed to have seen nothing. Sister Faith attended to me but was unhelpful, merely directing me to the security team. I contacted Ernest from Fidelity Security, who then told me that the hospital was responsible for the incident. This back-and-forth continued, with neither party taking responsibility. On September 23rd, I spoke with Moxolisi, who assured me that an investigation would be conducted and that I would receive feedback. By October 1st, I had heard nothing and called the hospital for an update. The next day, Charlotte contacted me, stating that parking at the hospital is at one's own risk, implying that the hospital does not ensure the safety of vehicles in their parking lot. This experience has been incredibly frustrating, and it is evident that the hospital does not prioritize the safety and security of its visitors. I am deeply disappointed with the lack of accountability and assistance from the hospital staff and security team.

I'm not pleased with the treatment I received at the hospital, especially from the unpleasant receptionist and Drs. Mashao and Dzichauya. They refuse to resubmit my claims to the medical assistance accurately, even though I have asked them to do so. They have already depleted my daily savings rather than using hospital funds, and they expect me to cover the remaining amount. It was an emergency, not a doctor's appointment, when I got there. I was injured in my leg in the an accident, yet I am charged with a chest x-ray. I didn't receive the notice until August 14th informing me that there was an overdue balance and that my account was being handedover. The level of incompetence is astounding.

Recently gave birth at the hospital, I was at first nervous about how my experience would be since it’s a black dominated hospital also because of where it is situated, but I was nervous for nothing. I can’t believe how professional all nurses were ,they showed so much compassion as well ,all the way to their cleaners and kitchen ladies ♥️♥️. I felt taken care of .

I was admitted in that hospital in the ICU unit on the 8th of June 2023. I was treated so badly despite being very ill. The nurses there think they know more than the doctors. My doctor was Dr. Doomfe who has been my doctor for years now. The nurse said the doctor was not doing his job and didnt diagnose me properly as she checked my Xray scan. She stated that the doctor is there to make money only. Imagine hearing such things whilst fighting for your life. That time I was unable to eat, and I was very weak. There was also the head of the nurses who was a male figure who was in charge for the day. I went to take a shower and left mistakenly some things by my bed. I rang the bell in the bathroom for assistance and no one came to assist me until I gathered strength and went to fetch the things myself. This male figure person who was in charge had the guts to tell his staff members what if I report them or post on social media regarding this. Its clear that they knew what they were doing was wrong. I am so disgusted by the treatment I recieved in this instititution. It beats me why they are still open and why they are still operating as a private hospital. There is no difference between them and Thelle Public Hospital. Whats shocking is that there was a certain nurse that was supposed to take care of me, she was rude and treated me like hell. She even had a walk in client that come in late through backdoors for some sort of treatment. Whilst us paying clients were treated like ******* but that person was treated with care because this nurse was going to get money from this person. This nurse bad mouthed me to the other nurses and most of them treated me badly. There were a few that were sweet and took care of me properly. Nurses like Puseletso, Mpumi and some guy that was still training did a great job. Botshelong is the worst hospital ever. I will never ever go there even if it was the last private hospital in this world. I am a renal failure patient and the unit has been treating me great. They service is top tier. But the staff at ICU is the worst ever. I went to the wards where I got the best treatment and was discharged. Hell broke loose when I stated to be sick again after 3 days. I decided to go to Netcare in Garden City where they confirmed that I had Sepsos infection which I got at Botshelong. That hospital was dirty and is not take good care of. I nearly died because of them. How I wish I can sue them.....................................................................................................................

Very Bad experience am not sure why they are in operation as a private hospital. Dr Manda is such a bad DR my mother was admitted and discharged and not even a family member know the reason what was she admitted from, if you value your elderly stay away from this Dr Manda.

I heard a 14h00 appointment to a Urologist Dr Madlala at suit 20 in Botshelong Hospital. I arrived at 13h30 to fill up forms in waiting room or reception there were 3 patients, I filled in the forms and waited for the Dr to arrive and he arrived at around 15h00 then the receptionist started to call in patients in but to my surprise I was not even called in 3hrs later that's when I ask what is happening because I have a two o'clock appointment and people who came after me have already seen the Dr the receptionist said I should have phoned them in the morning to confirm the appointment the people who are coming in have phoned I said I was never told that the only thing I know is that my appointment is at 14h00 but is 3hrs I have not been attended what is the purpose of making an appointment if I'm waiting hrs to see the Dr. The receptionist said it's not her problem if her colleague didn't tell me to phone she has her own list, people where been phoned from home to be told that is their turn to see them I complain she said she is following the Dr's there is nothing she can do when I request to call the Dr she refuse. I have been at Dr Madlala's suit since 13h30 and 7hours later that's when I could able to the Dr. Been first time at this place I treated badly the service was poor and the receptionist lady is arrogant, full of her self, rude and think just because she is on the other side of the desk she is God.the strategy that they are using at this Dr is bad for new patients because only regulars and the receptionists friends get first preference at this Dr as person comes now and fill in the form and see the Dr immediately while others has to wait 7hrs to see the Dr the service very very very poor and treated badly if ur paying with Rands only ppl paying Dollars are treated with kids glove

I love this hospital, I have never had a problem with them, the staff is friendly and very helpful. My problem is that my child was admitted on the 15/04 and discharged on the 18/04. I’ve been checking with medical aid to see if they have authorised her stay and there is nothing. I called the hospital and spoke to Siyabonga who confirmed he will call me back regarding my issue, he took my medical aid number and other details but I still have not received any call from him. I called my medical aid today and there’s still no authorisation. My is the co payment I will have to pay because they have failed to do their job! I am not going to pay for a co payment nor will I pay for claims that weren’t intentionally authorised to lip
