I was mugged in October and I requested my line to be locked and my cellphone to be blacklisted. During the cause of Nov my line was moved from contract to prepaid and they called me to give me the update that I can now do a sim swap. On the 17/11/2022 I went to the Vodacom shop to update the Rica info as instructed, my line was unflagged and Rica updated. I then called customer service to do a sim swap but I got very incompetent and rude consultants, the first agent (Kamohelo) just transferred my call but the 2nd one just ruined my day, her name is Beatrice Moloto. She told me that they wrote that I failed authentication whereas we never even got to the authentication part with Kamohelo, as I'm explaining to Beatrice she told me that I should go to the Vodacom shop coz I failed authentication. I asked to speak to her manager instead she told me she's going to block my number and hung up the line. I called again so I can verify if indeed she flagged my number and indeed she did, so I had to go back to Vodacom shop to unflag my number again!!!! Re: Bytes/Vodacom sales of new contract At the beginning of August, I called 1950 from my Vodacom handset, I dealt with Godfrey whom at the time offered me the following – Smart M top up, 400min 400 sms, 900mb plus 1 Gig additional data per month for 24 months for R319-00. Godfrey said he would do transfer of ownership and took all my banking details and ID, He stated that I would be contacted back by himself. 3rd August I spoke with Tina from 1950 – she also said she would call back 6th August – I spoke with Phillie whom advised she would sort out my contract, I asked why I was lied to and for a written response, I was asked to email her all my bank statements and ID copy to ********** she received all my details but never responded to my request 17th August I called in and spoke with Tina and she told me the contact would be processed but it was different to what I was originally promised by Godfrey, Given that I was still being lied to be by Byte Technology gorup I asked to speak to Phililie, Phililie was not willing to take my call but eventually she did and said the manner in which I speak was not accepted however I’m the one being lied to?!?!? Yet I must not get upset. I asked where my email was that I requested on 6th August she categorically said the back office had sent it, Weird that a back office would send written communication in regards to her staff lying to clients telephonically. She advised that the email would be requested to be resent from the back office with the original date stamped attached and promised me that it had been sent prior, no email received at the time of this communication. I was told my contact would be active in 24hours, this was Friday. 20th August I called in regarding my contract not active and was first told 1950 does not do it then I had my intelligence questioned as when I asked to be put through to Phililie I was told she does not have a phone at her desk, she needs to come take the call, Phililie refused to speak with me and told the agent to take my ID number and she would activate my contract. The contract was active 10 min later Here is what I want from Byte/Vodacom sales working at byte - My contract confirmed in writing, Smart M Top up including 400min, 400sms, 900mb data plus and additional 1G data every month for 24 months at R319-00 not the R359-00 told to me by Tina, I want what was promised by Godfrey - A reason why I was lied to by several staff - Phililie attitude and lack of customer relations is of concerning nature, not only does she allow her staff to lie, she herself promotes it not really being a team leader now. - I want my written apology that was categorically told to me that it was sent by the back office emailed to me ********** Glen orritt ********** 300

I have been Struggling to get critical information from Bytes due to the pathetic excuse of "we cannot access our archives" what kind of ICT company cannot access "archived" data that is by law required to be kept for a minimum of five years! I have been liaising with Monique ****s with regards to having a letter explaining why Bytes changed their UIF reference number three times as well as my UI-19 form, which i need in order to claim for UIF... I first requested these documents on the 14th March of this year...it is now the 13th of April (well over a month later!!!) and I still have not received anything, the few times i have been "updated" regarding this was from Monique and has only been when i threaten with action and then all that it is, is excuses as to why she is incapable of doing her job. I have been informed that this matter was sent to payroll to Charné Wyman who apparently "is waiting for the payroll head to approve her access" in order to get the documentation i am legally entitled to! i cannot understand how Bytes missed the incompetence of these individuals when performing their interviews, clearly there is some form of fraud taking place and rest assured i am taking this matter further and am reporting this to the Department of Labour's fraud unit for investigation. i have stated on numerous occasions that this matter is urgent!!!, The UIF that Bytes is preventing me from being able to claim due to withholding this information is preventing me from support my two children (3Y10M old toddler and a 7M old baby) and my wife, due to the incompetence of Bytes (an ICT company not being able to "access" their own data which in itself is dodgy) as well as their employees (those handling this matter), my family has to struggle unnecessarily. I will be opening a case of fraud against the directors of Bytes with the Police if i have not received the outstanding requested documents by the end of business next week Monday at the absolute latest Bytes has had more than enough time to "Fix' their access problems and get me the documentation i am legally entitled to have. i will no longer be accepting any excuses or delays in this regard!

I was working for Bytes as a copper technician from 26/08/2016 to 30/06/2017. I resigned from Bytes to join Skhosane Networking. I started working for Skhosane Networking on 18 July for the first 2 weeks of me working at Skhosane Networking I was allocated faults on a daily basis. What had happened during that time, was that all my completed work went to Bytes without me knowing it. I phoned around and find out that my employee number ( X ********** ) was never released by Bytes and I had to contact Telkom to have my employee number released and moved across to Skhosane Networking. After doing so the completed work started to show on the Skhosane Networking Database When my salaries were paid I was paid 2 weeks salary short (18/07/2017 to 25/07/2017). Upon enquiring it came to light that the 2 weeks’ salary was paid to Bytes because of the non-release of my employee number, I contacted my previous management team to try and get MY money paid back to ME with no success Bytes can pay me the 75% and keep the 25% that Skhosane Networking was going to take off ……..Or return all moneys and I can claim it thru Skhosane Networking I can provide the spreadsheet of faults that was paid to Bytes I just feel that it has taken me almost 3 months to get my money back from Bytes and they are trying everything in their power to NOT pay me. I can provide all my contact and salary ref information when I am contacted - my email address is **********
