I used their services (Pavillion branch)previously and found it to be good, and after few years went back for new glasses on medical aid, within a year the frame broke, called in and told must come in, I did go in on Sunday and told they don't have stock of frame and will take 2 to 3 days to get a replacement Knowing that the frame is under guarantee, they did not check if they had stock on hand, I came all the way to store only to be told to come back. It's now Thursday 5 days later, they did not call me or message me as promised, I call in and they do not have frame and will call me back only to telll me I must wait another 5 days for new frame, I suspect they were completely ignored ordering one. I must say my experience in general with store at present is mediocre and staff seem robotic in attitude, I should off just went to my local optometrists I usually go too, would never have this issue, seems classic eyes prefers to be just another run of the mill big store business.

My appointment was on Saturday the 17th of September 2022.. to see Nicci. My experience from the time I entered into the store was very pleasant. I was greeted and helped by Shaun at the front desk, who in my opinion is a genuine character, nothing false about this guy. He was professional, offered advice and was polite. I then met Nicci. Oh my. If you ever seen a person that loves what she does its Nicci. She took me through each of the examinations one by one , giving me feedback along the way and also took me through my previous eye tests. Nicci made me feel comfortable, I was relaxed. Before you know it the tests were over. This was a pleasurable experience for me and I rate Classic eyes * The best * Wonderful humans Professional and caring I will not go anywhere else. Classic eyes Pavilion are on top of their game and leaders in providing service excellence. 👌 Thank you

I visited Classic eyes in Pavillion today to do an eye test for renewal of my drivers, upon my visit staff was very warm and friendly, like to thank Amanda&Felicia who is also heavily pregnant for their great customer service and i eish Felicia everything of the best, also their eye test for drivers renewal was FREE compared to other optometrist thank you for helping your community

Hi there, I've been purchasing contact lenses from Classic Eyes Pavilion for a few years now and I've always gotten good service. But recently I've been having problems with the service I've been receiving. I always purchase online because of the convenience and recently I have to constantly keep following up on the order. You stock a brand called Air Optix which nobody at the Pav branch can assist with. They always say it's an oversees brand and they don't know how long it's going to take. Why even stock the brand then ? I called the store on the 2nd of July. I was told it will be dispatched that same day. I call today - 6th July and I'm told that the supplier doesn't have stock and it will take another 2 weeks. Why even stock the brand ? Why doesn't this information appear on the website when we purchasing? And it's not the first time this has happened. Extremely dissatisfied customer

Went to get my usual eye test done, Amisha went out of her way to assist me. Along with Amanda. I then had to go back due to a problem (Not their Fault) and saw Nicci she also went out of her way to assist me. In fact, the entire staff at the branch of Classic eyes are absolutely amazing and professional. I won't hesitate to recommend them.

It all began in January of this year, I went in for my eye check which was due and chose my frames and left there a happy customers cause I was told my glasses would be ready in a week to two weeks time, which was understandable. They then said they would call me when it was ready as the supplier don't have the transition lenses which my eyes require. I understood and left knowing I would receive a call, which they did, to my horrors, the lenses I received were not transition, well back to the supplier they went, next horror, I receive them back only to discover the frames were scratched by the technician that fitted them, they then had to order a new frame. okay I then receive my corrected pair like mid year, which I then had for about two/three months, and one of the lenses fall out, I was told there is no charge as the fibre string was too long. I go in on Saturday to collect them and there are 4 deep scratches on the right lenses, I told the assistant that I'm not leaving with these glasses, she says its just dirt let me clean it, she gets back, not difference, she then goes to her manager who sends a message back saying, repairs are done at my own risk.

The date and time of this incident is not exact as the saga was drawn out & I'm a busy man & it has taken me time to sit down and write a report. I went into classic eyes for new lenses & to buy a new pair of glasses. I sent in a pair of vonzipper frames which I had purchased from them for new lenses & at the same time I purchased a new pair of guess frames on the Friday. I was promised the job would be completed by the following monday. That monday came & went as did the week, I had to contact them the following friday to ask what the hold up was, that is when I was informed they had broken my vonzipper frames while fitting the new lenses. I was instructed to come in & choose a new pair of frames. when I arrived the following week a new pair of frames had been picked out for me?? they were not vonzippers or of equal value but rather a pair of cheap generic frames which I was totally unhappy with. the frames chosen for me were worth only 10% of the value of my vonzipper frames they were unwilling to replace apples with apples. when the owner finally decided to get involved I was told they will not replace leaving me over R2000 out of pocket. I certainly will not be returning!!
