I have been paying for 6 years not missing one payment. They are fast to send my account statement but the last 3 weeks the signal is pathetic. If I call they say it is the speed I am on. I am not paying R500 per month for pathetic service.

I signed up with Cloud connect an encountered internet problems from the get go. I had many months of huge frustration with failed Zoom calls for my business and kids schooling. I spent hours trying to work out what was going on. May hours of airtime on the phone with Cloud connect support. Eventually I paid for an expert to come in and resolve this and it turns out it was a configuration issue by the Cloud Connect installation team. This cost me frustration, times and lots of money. I complained and requested some kind of compensation. No answer. No response. I followed up a number of times over a period of 3 months with tickets, emails and calls. No response. Not even as courtesy call. Silence! I'm now cancelling my account. They've lost a good client.

For two years I had no problems because I needed no service. Yesterday, when O needed their service it was a nightmare. They just have so many queries theu cannot handle it with only one technition on duty. Their answering system is not working. I phoned in an was informed I was first and n line and had to wait 30secs which continuosly worked backwards up to 4th in in line to wait 4 minutes. The 4 min became one hour. Why only one technical if they experience high level queries and then an answeinh system which moves clients from the front backwards

We recently moved to Wilderness, and unfortunately the only option for an internet connection was to go wireless since fiber and LTE are not available in our area. We selected Cloud Connect based on their presence in the area, and we were impressed by their professional setup. Unfortunately you cannot trial a service provider before signing up. We are 6 months down the line on our 12 month contract, and it has been nothing but a struggle. Cloud Connects connectivity and speed is terrible and we have just spent over 90 minutes trying to watch a 30 minute show on Netflix while it struggles to connect & stream over & over again. We have called their support number like we always do, and the technician always says we have too many devices connected as if we are children, despite having unplugged everything before streaming a movie, and then we run around reseting everything.......but the problem persists. At most we have 10 devices connected to the wifi, but not accessing the internet. As a comparative example, we have a nature reserve in another area 300km away with a different service provider supplying the exact same speed connection, however on that connection we can stream whatever we like with no problems and at the same time we have 40-60 devices online from all our guests visiting the reserve. In retrospect, although it pains me to say it, I should have rather gone with Telkom and an ADSL line which is 20 year old technology.....but now I'm stuck in an expensive contract with Cloud Connect.
