Entered into Debt review with this company in 2021, at first the lady assisting was very persistent and kept following up to ensure that they get the business, once they listed me she stopped responding to emails and would get back to me months later. The company did not pay my debt but was collecting the debit order amount every month for +-5 months. My creditors all started pulling out of the process and were contacting and harassing me daily even sending me emails stating they had not received payment and therefore they are pulling out of the debt review process to a point where my car was almost repossessed and all my creditors handed me over to debt collection companies with ridiculous interest rates. Upon contacting the lady to find out why they not paying my creditors after the first 3 months as per the arrangement her response was "sorry I was on leave and missed your emails" I told her that the creditors have now exited the process and I was forced to trouble shoot and make direct arrangements so since they not assisting they must remove the listing and cancel my debit order of which she said she can't unless I have paid up letter. Mind you my debt was roughly 6k yet they were debiting 9k so they get 3k and pay my creditors and for the first 3 months they don't pay them they take the full 9k for "court appearance and court order and legal fees". Since 2021 I was able to square up my car on my own without their help and I am now almost done with my credit card. I have two outstanding loans that I still need to pay up of which payment arrangements are in place. I'm basically stuck with a flag on my name I cannot remove but Debt Sage did nothing for me and I've been dealing with my debt on my own when they collected 5 months of debits and didn't pay the creditors as promised. They are now unable to help remove the flag and I have to pay a private lawyer for assistance because I want to exit debt review so that we can apply for a house because I am no longer over-indebted. I wouldn't recommend this company nor debt review to anybody.

Great service
Debt sage assisted me a lot, the great service I received from Mashudu Sadiki we need more of this lady. She treats clients like royalty, she follows up and provides feedback at all times. I would recommend Debt Sage.

Chelsea Shonayi Debt Sage
Chelsea Shonayi a debt counsellor at Debt Sage, loads double debit orders without the clients consent and refuses to respond to calls and emails to rectify the situation. If you can don't do business with Chelsea. I've had nearly R16 000 debited from my account In January and I'm still waiting for a R7800 refund.

I have made an enquiry on 6ht December 2023 for debt review with Debt Sage telephonically , l have spoken to an employee named Phumeza who l advised that l am not fami**** with debt review so l am only enquiring. The information that Phumeza were provided on my creditors listed were incorrect to which l advised her as all account weren`t reflected. Phumeza advised that will check on her end and get back to me regarding the creditors that are missing. l queried on the call recording that l am only making an enquiry to which l asked Phumeza if l am being signed up for the service as l am only enquiring which she confirmed that l am not until i give the go ahead. Phumeza and i have been communicating via WhatsApp for a few days as she were locating all accounts listed on my credit history. On the 13th of December she manage to pick up all accounts and given me a quotation of R15 000 to which l haven`t agreed. On the same day, Phumeza advised that she has to cancel the application and l should contact her when l am ready. On the 24th January 2024, I have been notified by a creditor that l am flagged on debt review. Please can this be fixed ASAP as l haven`t agreed. Contact number: 065 029 5895 Thanks,

Debtsage
In March 2022 l called Debtsage to assist me with my debts as l was going through tough times. The lady by the name of Pumeza help to combine all my debts in one umbrella . I am now paying a reasonable one installment and every month I would receive my contribution statement and balance.. I am so happy now l able to buy food for my kids cause I'm paying a reasonable one installment.. Thank you Pumeza for your kindness ❤

In March 2022 l called Debtsage to assist me with my debts as l was going through tough times. The lady by the name of Pumeza help to combine all my debts in one umbrella .
