I am an Edifier user for many years, and praise their audio fidelity at their price point, even their lower end stuff will outplay some higher end brands for audio quality. I ordered a pair of X3 Lite buds recently, unfortunately there was an issue with the right buds connecting in the charge case so it would turn on while not being used, or not charge at times. I contacted Edifier SA and was contacted by Shamigh Van Wyk who assured me he would make this right. Shamigh assisted to diagnose the issue telephonically and ship out a replacement set and collect the faulty set. I am quick to complain, but believe people and companies need to be commended for outstanding service and going the extra mile to insure their customers are happy. Well done Shamigh and Edifier.

I have been an edifier loyal fan for years now. I ordered a pair of X3 Lite buds on the 10th May as they were on special at R499. It was found that the right bud comes loose in the carry case and drains itself, it also will not charge, and you have to play with it to get it to power off. The Slightest bump in your bag or pocket will turn the right bud on without you knowing. I have informed Edifier who said I should clean the buds from Debris and sweat, funny when the buds are less than 15 days old. I hate buds, but I thought I would give Edifier a chance since I own Monitors and Over Ear Headsets and I regret it already. FYI procedure for Edifier faults is return at your own cost and must be submitted in 30 days. So long story short, don't buy from Edifier.co.za and stick with 3rd party suppliers if you want to go the edifier route so you can have a smoother experience should you require a return. Will give these away if replaced and stick with over ear, and most likely not edifier after this ****py experience. Even though the sound quality is good to have such an unpleasant experience and having once side drained every time you want to use it defeats the purpose.

I reached out regarding my issue with their earbuds hoping for a swift resolution and assistance. However, the level of support I received was *** 💩🚽👎🏾 Stay away from Edifier they only care about money!! Additionally, the communication was poor and inefficient, even today my issue was never resolved I hope you enjoy my money you ****mers!!!

Customer service is trash and nonexistent. I have a failed order from 22 June which has not be resolved because of lord knows what. I was charged on Paygate and my order failed order subsequently after paying and you tell that you can't locate the funds when my POP is very clear! I don't know how you expect me to do your job and tell you where the funds are when you partner Paygate debited my account. This is unbelievable that upto today there is no resolution and yet Dennisha and Casey are sending me around like a fool

I bought earphones from these guys, and three months later these are not working. And I have been following up with them, and no response. What a terrible customer service I have experienced from them. They were only communicating with me when they wanted my money, they do not care about people at all.

Okay, so I bought a pair of Edifier wireless earbuds (TWS5) on the Takealot Black Friday sale last year and I must say I was very happy with the quality when I got them. I am a musician and I used them on a daily basis. The sound quality is good and the buds seal in my ear so nicely that it offers a type of noise cancelation, which makes listening great. The only gripe I have about the earbuds is that the right earbud does not work without the left. After 6 and a half months, all of a sudden the left ear bud went down to only 3 minutes of battery life and I can’t continue using the right earbud, because it does not work without the left earbud. I contacted Takealot to ask for a new pair only to find that Takealot only offers a 6 month warranty. I feel like crying because I am only 2 weeks over the 6 month warranty. I then tried to find someone in Cape Town to fix them for me and whilst I was searching I came across the Edifier international website and I see they offer a 1 year warranty. Now I am thinking there is no way the international Edifier will attend to me, because that just never happens, but low and behold the international Edifier team gets hold of me and politely says that they are sorry the earbuds failed and that they will contact Edifier South Africa to get me a new pair. After a few days Edifier SA calls me to ask for my address and two days after that a brand new pair of earbuds gets delivered to my front door. These kinds of things just never happen to me, so THANK YOU EDIFIER!!! You guys really made me so happy!
