2 weeks to receive the order, not what is promised on their page. When I received the order, it was not what I ordered. I reached out to them on their contact page with no response, tried calling no answer, sent multiple WhatsApp messages with no response. I all my communication I was not rude, just asking how we can resolve this. No response received. Now I have a bottle of perfume I've never even heard of and not what I paid for with no communication from this business to even try and resolve this. If they said sorry, we don't have stock, I'll wait and return what I received. But my goodness, communicate please. Ignoring customers is a sure way to make a business look bad.

Very disappointed and unhappy- poor communication and service. I ordered perfumes from Essences for life for my perfumes business and was initially impressed by how professional things seemed. I received an email stating that my order would be processed once payment was made. I made the payment immediately and sent them the proof of payment- not once, but twice, both via email and WhatApp. Since then, I have received no response, no updates, and absolutely no communication from their side. I’ve tried reaching out multiple times through email and whatsapp with no sucess. I even tried calling them, but no one answers. This is extremely unprofessional and has left me feeling frustrated. I placed this order in good faith for my business, and the complete lack of communication is unacceptable. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Essences for life.

Essences for Life has completely won me over! The quality of their perfumes is absolutely outstanding — long-lasting, luxurious, and often indistinguishable from high-end designer brands. You can really tell they put care and intention into every fragrance. What impressed me even more recently is how much they’ve improved their delivery times. Orders arrive faster and more efficiently than before, and it shows they’re taking customer feedback seriously and constantly levelling up their service. Order Not Delivered Since 27 March – Poor Communication and No Resolution I placed and paid for an order with Essences for Life on 27 March 2025. The website stated that the items were available. However, after weeks of waiting, I was told some items were on backorder - information that was not reflected at checkout. Since then, I’ve tried to be understanding. I offered alternatives. I agreed to wait for new stock. And yet, as of today (13 May), I have received neither the products nor a refund. What’s worse is the lack of proactive communication. I’ve had to follow up constantly to get any update, and even then, responses are vague and delayed. As a paying customer, this is incredibly disappointing. At this point, I’ve been more than patient. This is not just a logistics issue - it’s a customer service failure. If the business cannot fulfil orders, they should process refunds without excuses. I’m still waiting for: - A final, honest update - A clear delivery date OR - An immediate refund Please resolve this matter urgently. Order #7559 Sifiso Mbatha

I previously ordered from this Company with no problems within a day or two of payment i received a waybill. On their Website they state available stock is dispatched within 1-2 days from receipt of payment. The owner Marizane confirmed availability of Perfumes, i placed an Order she confirmed receipt of payment on 4th of April 2025, today is the 14th and i have not received a waybill even after i asked her numerous times for it and she promised she will send it to me. I placed another Order with her it was paid for on the 5th of April she said she received on the 8th of April 2025. yet again i asked her for my waybills as it is stock available not back ordered or semi available it was a sale she was running. today the 14th of April no waybill after she also promised last week the supplier is sending her the waybills on Friday. I demanded my money back as i am the one with egg on my face with my clients and she gave me a story of she does not have the money she paid it over to her supplier. i then told her i want my waybills i have asked her the whole weekend for my waybills including today and she is not responding. I was intend to a massive order with her. But with business like this I am sorry she will not get my order i cannot risk losing more money as i have now already lost just over R3000.00 with her. The excuse of blaming the Supplier is also not good enough for me. I know how a business works. My business is all about good service but now my service delivery has to take a knock due to untruthfulness. Not even a whatsapp to say there is a problem or delay. With my second order with her one perfume was just left out the box. When i queried she said she will send it again. The box i received was still securely closed and there was no space for any more perfumes so it was definitely not the Courier who took it.

I received my order on time and in good condition, the service I received was excellent as well. Communication was top notch all in all I'm am super happy with Essences for life because I loved how the perfumes I ordered smelt.

I was referred to this business by a friend who orders a lot of fragrance from this online company. I have placed an order (6916) on August 29th. By September 3rd, I have shared a follow up on the order as I have paid and had no communication on the order. On September 5th, I shared another follow up, still no communication received and I have received a note stating the product I have ordered is not immediately available and will take 4-8 weeks estimated according to terms and conditions. I decided to wait a little longer. On September 16th I received an email stating they are still waiting for the product and a list of available fragrances was shared so that I can select a replacement and I, once again, stated I will wait a little longer. On September 18th, I decided to reach out to check if some of the replacements were in stock so that I can replace the product which they do not have. A reponse was received providing a list of available fragrances. On September 23rd I have selected to replace the original product with one that is in stock. The message was received and read. Come September 26, no reponse received and I have reached out to follow up again. I was told that waybill details will be sent to me on September 27th. No waybill detail was received. I followed up on September 27th, and October 7th and STILL NO RESPONSE! To be clear here, I am not disgruntled by the fact that I have to wait for my product. I knew about the possible waiting period when I placed the order. I am, however confused as to why there has not been any responses to my gollow up. I know the messages are received and I know the whatsapp line is active as I can see the profile picture changing and messages being read. Please, I am begging you to send me my product, that I have paid for on August 29th. We are almost at 2 months now. The replacement selected on September 18th. It should have been sent then already.

I often look at Hello Peter for reviews and ignore the bad ones and have almost always been successful in getting my orders, even with the bad companies. DO NOT IGNORE THIS REVIEW. I ordered perfume over a year ago and have still not received it. Yes, the order was shipped and sent to a PEP "near me" - 30km away in a taxi rank mall with many reviews of theft. So I contacted the company and let them know the situation. Even offered to PAY AGAIN for different shipping. I got a snotty reply and after being notified that the item was returned to the company, I emailed to ask how to get my order. To this day, no reply. As a bonus she still has my money AND received her stock back so the business must be flourishing. If I got contacted by the owner I would be more than willing to retract this review, but I don't appreciate paying hundreds for thin air with no option of refund or alternative.
