DO NOT DO ANY SORT OF LEGAL BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY WILL **** YOU. I did business with this company for a whole year, I even paid a full year's rent in advance just to be able to stay there, and when the end of my lease agreement came, they never did a joint inspection with me, claimed a bunch of bogus costs on my deposit, and stole my whole deposit. THEY LEGALLY CANNOT DO THIS. They required a signed joint inspection and they never had any of this. Not to mention the fact that whej my lease ended I stayed a day longer than I was supposed to, so what do they do ? They hire a personal investigator to harass me and to trespass on my property that I was still occupying. They send all of my confidential emails that I had made to my real estate agent to the Private Investigator which is a major breach of the POPIA act, according to the RHT guidelines they are in statutory default since the 21 day mark is gone, they are in ******* possession of my deposit, and they won't care unless you take legal action. These people are the worst of the worst ****, they always try to find you with some legal clause, or just hinge on the fact that you don't hace the energy to go to court. They are scavengers, the worst of its kind, they prey on those who they think are weak. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.

Dear All I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the ongoing issue regarding the curtain rail in my bedroom, which has now fallen for the third time significantly hindering my privacy. Despite numerous attempts to contact Noni (Estate agent ) and seek assistance, I have received no response or support in resolving this issue. The utmost neglect and ignorance for my PRIVACY is unbelievable, as a woman who is a paying client residing in a BALWIN ESTATE managed by LANDSDOWNE receiving this kind of service is pathetic. This type of service occurring in a well established company sickenens me. This is clearly not seen as important as it has now reoccurred for the 3rd time and not even that could generate urgent attention. Something needs to be done about this drastically.

I was looking for a property for myself and my kids when I came across one that I loved, but it wasn’t available for immediate move-in. The agent showed me another property within the same complex that was available. My intention was to buy the property while waiting for my divorce to be finalized. I signed the OTP, which expired in 30 days, and made the space liveable as it was initially a mess. I asked the agent for permission to renovate the place and received the go-ahead. Both the owner and the agent were aware of the work done. We lived in this property for almost two years without any formal agreement or contact from the agent or the owner. I continued paying my rent as agreed when I moved in. In December, the owner decided to sell the house since my divorce was dragging on. I was informed that the agent I had been dealing with resigned, and I met the new agent. I informed the new agent about the work done and requested reimbur*****t. Initially, we were on the same page, but she later suggested I deal with the owner directly. Because of the work I did, the house was sold within a month of listing. The agent had struggled to sell this unit, which is why it was vacant for me to move in immediately. I feel that FINE HOME ****med me, and I want my money back!

Useless service, do not use! I saw their listing and contacted via whatsapp, no response. Get a call from someone called Santosh who an agent would call me first thing the next day. Waited until the afternoon, no call. Sent a whatsapp to follow up, no response. Sent a whatsapp the next day giving him feedback on my unhapiness with his service. They tried calling but I've blocked them. I wont do business with a company that does not need or want my business!

They failed to inform me of a very crucial piece of information about how water and electricity is to be paid at the place I am currently renting, which works out to a large amount each month, regardless of how much I actually use. The informative documents were only sent to me 2 weeks after moving in, almost a month after the lease was signed. When asked about this, they refused to take responsibility for it, and it appeared they struggled to understand basic english as they could not answer the questions I was asking. Pathetic customer service, not checking their emails regularly when sending proof of payments etc. Currently just waiting for this contract to end.

This morning one of their employees who comes around sticking your pamphlets on everyone’s gates trespassed onto our property! Our gate was slightly open as we have people working in our yard, and their guy walked into our yard and stuck it on the inside of our gate! This is completely unacceptable! I have tried to notify this company of this on Facebook and Instagram, and they just delete your comments. Totally Disgusted!

I was in a process of renting a house from Finehome and from my side everything was paid which included the deposit and the first month’s rent. All was agreed to and planned to move in on Saturday the 23rd of February. On the 21st of February the estate agent messaged me and stated that there is a problem and the contractor has not even started with the internal painting of the house due to the Owner not paying them after this was confirmed before I signed the contract. The agent then informed me we could only gain access to the property on Tuesday the 25th of February. I then informed FineHome that this is not possible, I had prior arrangements with a moving company to collect the furniture (which I had to pay a deposit). I had multiple contractors that would install alarms and cameras. I informed FineHome prior to the agreement that I needed to move into the unit on the weekend of the 23rd of March. This was due to commitments I made with my current landlord and agency. Fine Home then informed me that I can move in without the paint ( which was not how they advertised the unit) or the contractors can paint around me and they will finish on Monday night. I then informed them that this will not be possible, due to medical reasons with my 10 month old baby and access to the property was restricted due to my wife and I both working full time. I then informed FineHome to cancel the contract, as this was out of my control and they informed me that the contract was signed and I have no right and that they will not pay back anything. So to date I have not moved in and I did not receive my money back (+-R24K). The service and professionalism that I received is by far the worst. The Rental manager does not have any people s****s and is not competent to handle issues like this. She confirmed that the property owner/ landlord lied about paying the contractor and yet I’m to blame. The same for the owner of FineHome, he did not even have the decency to phone me to discuss the situation, just a message on watsap to inform me that they refuse to pay back any of my money.
