Exceptional service 👏🏿 👌 As an African woman I struggle to get good service in Capetown but I walked into Ford Claremont and Recieved a warm welcome from the guy who sells brand new cars and I needed a pre-owned vehicle and he gave a warm handover to Theo the sales guy who gave me a top of the range car and the finance manager who is so warm and tries his best to get you a good offer. They went over and above to leave a good taste in my mouth. EXTREMELY FRIENDLY STAFF, Richard was amazing and they are such a great team. The previous dealer had dropped their standards in WC I complained several times but with this one I'm glad to call it home.

I purchased a used Ford Everest from Ford Claremont earlier this year. Since taking delivery, the vehicle has had multiple mechanical failures, including a major rear differential/axle replacement, along with prior issues such as a leaking sunroof, starter failure, and indicator and air vent motor problems. The car has been in and out of the workshop for over 40 days out of roughly 138 days of ownership. Despite these ongoing defects, the dealership continues to insist the vehicle can simply be repaired — ignoring the fact that my attorney, formally notified them on 29 October 2025 of my intention to cancel the contract under the Consumer Protection Act. Since that letter, Ford Claremont has completely ignored all correspondence. I am now without a vehicle, yet still paying WesBank for a car I cannot use. I have contacted Ford South Africa directly, but as of now, no resolution has been offered. I expect a full refund of the purchase price and a proper acknowledgment of my consumer rights under the CPA. This kind of treatment from an authorised Ford dealership is unacceptable.

If you are looking to buy a car, do yourself a huge favor and buy a car anywhere else. Was told they work on a first come first serve basis and that is how they do business, just to learn that they have given the car to another customer. Customer service us something they lack and just excuses. Not even willing to try and see if they can make any other arrangement or accommodation.

My car was booked for the 11th of September. It was struggling to drive up a hill so I needed it checked. I was told by Rashieda at the service center that they will need 6 hours to strip it. I received no call the whole day on the 11th. My son who drives the car in Cape Town checked on the car the following day. He was told that they had not touched the car at all. They will call us later on Thursday the 12th. On Friday there was still no call and no work done on the car. Late on Friday Rashieda promised to call me early on Monday the 16th. By 11am she still had not called, I am the one who called. When I spoke to her she told me that they still had not done any stripping of the car. I asked to speak to the service centre manager Martin. I called looking for Martin more than once and they out my call throuhh to him and all call went unanswered. He was not available to talk to me until I decided to move my car to another dealership with the help of their head office. My son went to fetch the car today the 19th of September and found out after leaving the dealership that the license disc was missing. He informed me and I immediately called the dealership. What followed was very strange because they said they did not touch the car at all. They denied removing the disc, but Rashieda had pictures of the car having the disc when it was booked in. I threatened to do a review and that was the only time Marting called me. First he threatened to sue me for accusing his staff of removing the disc. He had not spoken to his staff to establish facts before these threats, when he finally got the full story he called me back apologizing , I didn't accept his apology because he was threatening me to shut me up when they were in the wrong. There is an investigation by Ford Company head office of this conduct. They found the disc and I don't even want to know what had happened to it honestly. Martin said they are understaffed, why did they accept the booking only to keep our car for 8 full days with no diagnosis at all. This dealership has no respect for customers at all. We initiated most of the communication, they just have no respect for their customers at all.

I was impressed with the speedy service upon arrival, but they ended up taking 4 hours before even assessing my car. In all, I ended up waiting 7 hours for a BASIC SERVICE. They did not even adjust my handbrake, as I has asked for.

I called Ford from Wednesday (08/11/2023), Thursday and today just to book for a car service. The receptionist took my details on Wednesday and said I’d be called or emailed back for a quote. I called again on Thursday and spoke with a lady (Mendy) and she took my details again and said I’d be contacted with the quote. I called this afternoon enquiring if anyone was going to contact me and she said I should hold the line while transferring the call. The phone rang and went back to her line, instead of giving me feedback, she hung up. I immediately called back and she never picked up again. This is the worst service I’ve ever received from Ford Claremont and leaves a bitter taste. What a waste of my time.

Absolutely terrible customer service. I spoke to the warehouse manager this morning (02 Feb 2022) after I had issues with my car shortly after a big (expensive) service. I had told the dealership that it is very important that my car is checked appropriately as I was driving from Cape Town to Durban the next week. Needless to say, my breaks failed on the trip. The manager was shockingly rude and dismissive. Don't touch Ford Claremont with a 10 foot pole.

Bought NEW Ford Ranger 2016 and started rusting on 4th year even tho it's parked in a garage. Ford do not want to fix this problem, even though it was under warranty. They say it's chip marks even though a lot of their cars there have the same rust in the ezact same area!!. Service warranty as well is a problem. We are selling our Ford. Don't want anything to do with Ford ever again.
