While they did not contact me (I had to reach out to them after learning from Telkom who they handed the debt over to), once I did contact them, we quickly came to an arrangement, and they stuck by their promise not to add interest for 1 week, which allowed me to easily settle the debt, and I received my settlement letter shortly afterwards.

Sorry, but they don't even deserve a star - I had to unfortunately give them one to write the review!!! I have been trying to sort out 3 Telkom accounts since June/July 2020 (Covid Lockdown) I have managed to get the one balanced and closed. One is in credit and one I eventually settled through a law company - HOWEVER.... according to Telkom the one settled through DC FOURIE is STILL unpaid. I have been I formed by Terence at DC FOURIE to send my settlement letter to Telkom - not only have I sent the settlement letter that I received but ALSO my proof of payment and yet Telkom still has my account as being in arrears. I would really appreciate ANY assistance in getting this settled as I continue to get phone calls from Telkom with regards the account

Got a message for a false bill. Ended account at telkom over a year ago. Then payed telkom an additional few months just because they couldn't stop the account within the 30 day notice period that their TC said is the policy. This is a scam and this company is just trying to seep in money from people that wouldn't know any better. This company should be closed down since they do work under false pretence, and try to scam innocent people without doing necessary research on the case they take on. Pathetic!

An ongoing dispute over incorrect Telkom billing after we cancelled our lines when moving to new premises in June 2015. After being ignored by Telkom for months, we were approached by 3 different Telkom attorneys over a period of 2 years, all of whom we corresponded with as to our issue of overbilling with Telkom which continued to remain unattended to. We received notification from yet another new attorney dealing with our issue and again sent all correspondence to Desire Plaatjies of Fourie Sikweyiya Inc. Our account was reconciled and proof of payment as our record shows was sent to Ms. Plaatjies after she finally sent us our final accounts. No acknowledgment of payment was received by her although we have proof that the emails were opened and upon wanting to renew a mobile contract discovered that our company has been listed with the national credit bureau. Ms. Plaatjies refuses to deal with the issue, refuses to advise who I need to speak to at Telkom or at Fourie Sikweyiya and simply refers me to a Telkom branch (where is where my issues began). How can Telkom through an utterly unprofessional attorney's firm bully small companies into submission to pay for accounts they are disputing? And how can they tarnish a clean reputation, without warning, without acknowledgement of payment already received and without responding to the ongoing query re incorrect billing? I have no idea where I stand now, how long we will be listed or how we become unlisted. And that after the delay was precipitated by Telkom who continued to change attorneys without actually dealing with the issue at hand. Now I read Fourie Sikweyiya Inc is a scam! I tried to speak to any one of the partners at the firm but was blocked by Mrs. Jonk who like Desire Baatjies wanted nothing further to do with the issue. I sent an email last night and phoned this morning but no acknowledgment. They simply ignore all correspondence. So now i have paid, but am still listed with NO idea how to get out of this mess. What a shame that attorneys Fourie Sikweyiya whoever they may be threaten to a point where they have what they want and then cut all correspondence with you. To get anywhere with Telkom is pulling teeth from a chicken.

I have been receiving threatening letters from this 'so called' law firm for the past 6-months or so ..... claiming that I owe Telkom money ..... and that I will be 'blacklisted' or issued with a summons if I don't pay an amount of R1,512.76 into an 'unnamed' bank account ..... no doubt Fourie's personal bank account. I am not a Telkom customer. Nor has Telkom invoiced me for services rendered. I have called Telkom on several occasions ..... but without having an account with Telkom they have been unable to identify what this amount is for. I also live in Johannesburg ..... so fail to see why a 'so called' attorney from PE is involved. I have lodged a complaint with the Cape Law Society ..... and queried whether or not they are even registered attorneys. I see they advertise themselves as 'attorneys, notaries, conveyancers and administrators of estates'. Whatever u do ..... DO NOT entrust Fourie Sikweyiya with your affairs, property, family, estate ..... NOTHING !
