I'm very disappointed in Frys. They talk about being a friendly family-owned business with a positive ethical outlook, but this is a lie. They're actually part of a big impersonal holding company that gives awful service, and doesn't care about consumers. I'm a vegetarian so I know their products well and have always enjoyed them. There's one product that I've always problems with though, so the other day I used the email address on the Frys website to let them know. The response I received (their reference ticket 95639) was extremely brief, corporate and blunt. It was a one-line brush-off with not a single word to say sorry for the problem experienced. They just said their product development team would look at it. It was from a company I'd never heard of, not Frys. That's when I started getting a bad feeling. The company was called LKCA but the email signature said RCL Foods. The title of the person responding was SHERQ COE. I don't recognize any of that, but it doesn't sound very friendly or family-owned to me. It sounds like a big corporate, and it is. After some back-and-forth it was quickly clear they had no interest in my feedback or complaint. Nobody ever said anything like sorry. I had told them I can't keep buying their products if they treat customers like this so please give a proper answer, and they never even rep**** to that. They don't care if I buy their products or not, and they don't care about you either. At one point I tried to call Frys directly hoping it would go better, but they were totally unable to help. The person in Customer Service had no access to the emails I'd been sending as it was all handled by the big corporate. They also had no way to transfer me to anyone else. They can forget about me ever buying their products again. There are dozens of very good plant-based food companies out there, and I'd rather support a company that values its customers. I talked to a professional chef about my experience, and he said he had a similar experience with this big corporate when complaining once, and now prefers to support other brands.

I bought a variety of their frozen foods and had to throw it all away. Not only do they taste incredibly gross, but the pieces that I swallowed made my stomach turn. I swear the cramps felt equivalent to doing gym crunches for a week. How they can sell these vile foods is shocking. Not fit for consumption

I love their food. And being a ***** of mostly vegetarian, I also love hot dogs and burgers as well. My gripe however is thier prices. Too nigh for the average South African pocket. And the quantity only 4 burgers. What to do if you have a family of 5 or then you have to deprive one person or end of paying for two boxes. Especially in the vegan fastmonth of the Hindus, the Fry products become sadly unaffordable.

You know frys is so expensive but I've purchased from shoprite and checkers and for 2 or 3 months now there's been black or green mould on the hot dogs... I don't know what is going on this is so unhealthy... We normally just fry our stuff trusting that the hit dogs is good but what happens when we eat the moudly food.. It's really disgusting and a neatly hazard

My 13year old daughter suddenly decided she doesn't want to eat meat anymore and I didn't know where to start,as I am really big on meat either, but growing kids and teens need all the necessary nutrients and protein. Oh my word,I went into the local supermarket and the range I saw was awesome.I decided to let her try out the Braai style sausages first.she absolutely loved it!she even went to the freezer to check on the box if it is really plant based. Next I tried the original burgers, hotdogs and she is absolutely in love with the chicken style nuggets. Today I had to fill up her stock again. Thank you for giving vegetarians options. You made my job so much easier.Keep up the good work.

Dear fry's Family, I have been eating the Fry's brand of vegetarian products since I was 12 years old. My family and I are vegetarians for almost 3 decades. I have always loved all your products especially the braai sausages. It's so easy to cook and delicious as well. I bought my braai sausages from the pick n pay near my home a few days ago and I don't have the cash sale slip. I always just toss the sausages in the microwave to defrost and then cook. Today when I took it out of the microwave it was all slimy and had black and white spots on it and it stinks.. Please see attached pictures I took immediately. The expiration date is only 2022..so I can't understand how it has gotten off.. I have the pack kept in my freezer if you don't believe me. I hope you can get to the bottom of this and let me know what has happened. I just don't want someone else to have the same experience as me.. Because that would be a shame as Fry's is awesome. I have emailed them but had no response yet.
