This is the model for others to follow. They didn't claim to have the item on hand but acquired it the same day, though too late for shipping on day 1. So shipping happened on day 2 and ,with an extra day needed for road transport to Cape Town, delivery on day 4. All fine because they kept the information flow going and we knew at all times what was happening. Well done.

Please exercise caution when purchasing ESD software packages from this store. On 2 May 2026, my son purchased a Microsoft 365 Family subscription for me. Although the product key was delivered promptly, activation has not been successful. He reported the error to Geewiz early this morning, yet as of 16:24 on 4 May 2026, the issue remains unresolved. No feedback!!!! On second thought, look at the current AI Overview of Geewiz on Google, it never used to be this bad!!!

Please exercise caution when purchasing ESD software packages from this store. On 2 May 2026, my son purchased a Microsoft 365 Family subscription for me. This is an online retailer that does communicate that they will close their offices for more than a week BEFORE you place your order. They have no support staff or manned call center you can dial in this period. I placed my order on 30 March. Their offices closed 2 April to 10 April. No delivery. Support queries go unanswered History: 30 March, 7:52 pm: Placed an order. 30 March, 7:52 pm: eMail - we have received your order 30 March, 7:52 pm: eMail - "Please note that our offices will be closed from the 2nd of April, for Pesach and Easter Holidays. We will resume normal operation on Friday, the 10th of April." 31 March, 9:16 am: eMail - your items are being prepared 01 April, 8:32 am: eMail - "Your order will be delivered directly from our supplier. A member of our Customer Service team will be in contact shortly with your tracking information to monitor the delivery status of your order." 01 April, 5:17 pm: Got a call from Geewiz, stating that the supplier only expected the item to be delivered by the afternoon. They will arrange to have it delivered directly to me. Also stated that the supplier will send me an email once the order is dispatched, and that they will call me when they are underway. 07 May, 11:29 am: Logged into the Geewiz site, went to the order and left a message for support: "It is 7 April, and the courier shipping that was done on 30 March has not reached me yet." 09 May 08:32 am: Called 011 568 0191. Voice message: "Please note that our offices will be closed from the 2nd of April, for Pesach and Easter Holidays. We will resume normal operation on Friday, the 10th of April."

The service at Geewiz is going down the dumps ! They are extreamly slow in replying on email, items that show as in stock, then they do not have stock. They have sent me the incorrect item, now I must struggle and jump through hoops to get a refund. With easter they are only openeing again on 10 April! It is just shocking how bad their service has become.

I ordered a Nvidia Shield Pro, not a cheap tv box. I opened it, started it up, it said there was an update and I installed it. After browsing for a bit the unit froze and restarted. I ran some apps and they apps would intermittently just crash upon initializing. I immediately packed it back in the box and contacted Geewiz. After a bit if back and forth they arrange to pick up the unit. This was within their 7 days for defective units. Days later they sent me a notification "the unit is working perfectly" and send me a short little video of a successful start up and apps running. I could also cut together something like that. It soon became clear why they did this. I was suddenly on the hook for the courier fee as well as their 10% fee for the scratches that just appeared after I had it out of the box for all of 10 min. They refunded the balance today but these practices seem suspect at best and disengenous at worst. The replacement unit (Google Streamer 4k) I ordered in the meantime arrived in a broken box that had clearly been opened before and a dirty unit indicating it was second hand. At least it is working perfectly. I will not be buying from them again and I would strongly discourage anyone else from using their services

This was my first purchase on the GeeWiz website, and unfortunately it was very disappointing. I bought a new product, but it clearly appeared second-hand, as it arrived dirty and had already been set up before. I had to fully reset the device just to use it. When I contacted GeeWiz, I was told they would need to collect it, inspect it, and then I would still have to wait another 14–20 days, which made the experience even more frustrating. Based on this experience, I would not recommend GeeWiz.

I bought a new product, but it clearly appeared second-hand, as it arrived dirty and had already been set up before. I had to fully reset the device just to use it.
