What a terrible quality product! I got my band last year in June and the bracelet part is already broken in 3 different places. It tends to fall off super quickly which caused me to almost lose it a few times. I really regret not buying one of the more competitive fit devices. Unlike others jawbone can't even read heart rate at a precise moment which sets this product on the back line if you compare it to other likewise products.

After the clasp came loose once or twice a day over the last month, with several attempts to tighten the clasp, so it does not slip off - it has now fallen off and cannot be found... What a disappointing experience. Product works well, but the clasp is pathetic...

This is the 3rd Jawbone Up2 that I have owned. The first one the wrist band cracked after 2 months. Literally one day to the next. There was no damage and then a crack appeared and a day later it had almost cracked right through. There was no visible wear and tear and the unit was well looked after. The online supplier got me a replacement. That one got stolen so another was purchased for me by a kind friend. Now this unit has had the same issue. Well looked after and from one day to the next the strap has cracked almost clean off. It was 5 months this time before this happened. The online supplier says that Jawbone will not replace the unit for this type of damage. First of all they have before, second they have a product prone to this type of flaw, how is that the users fault. They unit is very well looked after. It is unbelievable but has now happened to 2 devices in the same manner and same place. The unit comes with a 1 year warranty and they are not going to replace it. No real explaination why. Not a good product but worst of all no after sales service for a product still well within its warranty period.

I bought the Jawbone UP3 on Monday, it's an amazing product. Today, Thursday was the first day I had stopped looking at the novelty on my wrist constantly. I slept with the product, went to work and decided to walk back with the encouragement of UP3 to the public transport I take home. Somewhere during the 20 minute walk it fell off. Absolutely dissapointed that I chose this product over a fitbit, which would not only have been cheaper but recognised by my medical aid. I will not be recommending it.

My Jawbone Up status lights flash randomly during the day and the band doesn’t seem to have any information on it. When I sync to my app it connects but no information is entered on the app.

I have done a soft and hard re-set and I have uninstalled and installed the app on my phone again, but still no joy.

Today I made contact with Quantified Living in Johannesburg ********** 330, who have, without looking at or asking too many questions, told me it is end of life of my Jawbone Up.

My husband bought this for me about 2 years ago, but I have only actively being using this since September last year.

So, you can imagine my shock and disappointment when I was told that this is “end of life”.

Would not recommend this product at all, and many because of the lack of support.

In February of this year my girlfriend bought me a Jawbone UP2 with thin strap.

In June the strap broke and i sent the Jawbone customer support an e-mail asking where i can take the device to have it repaired or replaced. They replied back and said take it to the store i bought it from and they will sort it out.

I lost my purchase slip and clearly did not steal the device as it is registered with Jawbone on the app.

I mean really Jawbone i could have got that answer from anyone, what i wanted was to know where i can get it fixed.

I like my device and don't want to wait for the retailer to ship it to you to check it out and then 2 months later i get a replacement.

You people need to follow Fitbit with customer service because your devices are better than Fitbit but after this i'm going to Fitbit.

Customer service counts!!!!!!!!!!!!
