What a huge disappointment from such a big brand!! I bought my Kenwood Platinum Mixer with them, which I must say I truly enjoy and it does live up to my expectations, however the food processor attachment to my mixer definitely does not! This attachment is also quite expensive for the quality. The part of the processor that takes the most strain is plastic – which means that it is plastic on metal; needless to say after only a few uses this attachment part broke. I used my processor for nothing other than its indented function (making basil pesto) and it just broke halfway through! And to top it all off, it is still under warranty! I sent many complaints and pictures while promises were made that Kenwood would get back to me and they never did! I keep on following up and they keep on ghosting me. Such a disappointment. Now I see on other reviews that there are people who take their equipment in to Kenwood, never to see it again or hear from them either. So I have completely lost hope and trust here – even if somehow they got back to me it seems like I cannot even trust them to fix this situation. What a huge disappointment from a brand that used to be amazing. I wonder what happened.

I bought a Kenwood Centrifugal Juicer from TakeAlot in October last year. I used the machine all but a handful of times when it suddenly stopped working. I sent it back to TakeAlot, they rejected my return as "it did not meet their return standards". Cool, I made contact with Kenwood, and dropped the machine off at one of their repairers. A week later, no response or feedback. I made contact with them, they advised that they'd provide feedback by COB that day, which obviously didn't happen. They finally make contact with me and issue me with a quotation for repair and tell me "please let us know if you'd like us to go ahead". No report as to what is wrong or which part is broken or whatever. I respond to the email asking for a report. They then advise that the activation switch is broken... The machine is still under warranty, but this is unfortunately one of the lucky parts that are not covered... Please buy this piece of *** if you'd like to waste your money.

I bought a Kenwood handmixer at Makro and in less than 6 months one of the beaters broke and I can't even use it. I heard a fellow baker complaining about the same thing so please work on that I'm not happy

Steer far away from Kenwood, not what they used to be. Service is shocking to say the least, getting no response, 1minute phone call, requested to please be called back, one week later, still waiting. Wasted my money and have a parent that bakes for a living in tears as there is no income as there is no proper Kenwood mixer! Thanks Kenwood!!!

Bought a Kenwood Prospero mixer a few years ago. What a load of plastic junk! I highly recommend you save up and buy a proper mixer with METAL cogs because the very first time I went to juice some oranges and the cogs broke and the gears broke. Pity theres no space here for photos. I have already returned it because it wouldn't start no matter what I tried. There was a short which they said they fixed but never did!! Another thing is the lid which goes over the (very thin) stainless steel bowl ALWAYS cracks! What a waste of money....
