THIS REVIEW IS INTENDED FOR MERCK GROUP SA 1 September 2022: I’ve published the following on Hellopeter.com and sent to Merck Headquarters (USA). I copied Merck SA on it: “I’ve just posted the following review of my experience with your South African branch on Hellopeter.com (A national instrument to complain about company services): My latest correspondence (8 August 2022) to Merck says it all: “ Hi Bronwyn, this is unfortunately by far not good enough. The order and payment was already done in November 2021. Delivery was promised in January 2022 and since then every time postponed. I was never kept abreast of when what will happen unless I’ve asked. I’ve requested a reimbur*****t in April 2022 already. I insist on an immediate refund. Kindly provide the details of your CEO so that I can take this issue up with him/her. I have NEVER received such poor service from ANY supplier I’ve dealt with! I’ve dealt with Bronwyn Pop (Customer Excellence Supervisor) and Pearlson Chego (Customer Excellence Representative). I have repeatedly asked for a reimbur*****t or for the case to be escalated but to no avail (I do have all the relevant correspondence). It is 1 September 2022 and still nothing from them! Kindly have a look at Hellopeter.com reviews on Merck. I would close shop if I was you!!” Merck never replied to either me nor Hellopeter.com 14 October 2022: I’ve published the following on Hellopeter.com and sent it to your Headquarters in Germany: “I had the worst experience with Merck Group RSA, I ever had with ANY company locally or internationally. In short, they insisted on advanced payment for a product that they normally stock but was out of stock at the time - November 2021. Over the following 3 months and many followups from my side they only replied by saying they are still waiting for the product to arrive in RSA. Ironically, I dealt with an ‘Customer Excellence Representative’ and ‘Customer Excellence Supervisor’ - what a joke! They blatantly refused to escalate the matter upon numerous requests. In February 2022 I requested the cancellation of the order and a refund. Again after many followups no progress was made. I informed them that I plan to take matters further. On 20 August 2022, I wrote a review on Hellopeter.com (I copied Merck on it). I also contacted Merck headquarters in the USA to report the matter. They just replied just by saying they are not responsible for the product. Important to note that from November 2021 until now (October 2022) they NEVER proactively kept me In the loop! To date I haven’t received the product nor a refund or any further correspondence from Merck (apparently they also haven’t replied to my Hellopeter.com review either). I have all the correspondence to substantiate the above. I honestly don’t know what further to do but to charge them with theft. Please don’t support Merck/ Sigma unless you have to! If there was a rating lower than 1 star I would have given them -5!!!”

I cannot even begin to express my frustration and disappointment with what this company calls Customer Excellence Representative. they have no idea what customer excellence mean. If I had such bad customer service, I would not have a business anymore, but off course this company is so big, that it does not matter. 1. It was clear from the beginning of my conversation with Ramathetje that I was struggling to order a dismal R1000 worth of chemicals. 2. I would think that a courtesy call would have been appropriate at this time. 3. I did not come right with the on-line ordering, even after I did the registration on MECOMM. 4. Still no phone call, rather I am being passed on to someone else. One would think that a Customer Excellence Representative would treat a potential new customer better than that. 5. And then for the passed on person to ask me whether I have registered with Sigma??? Seriously, they could not have found that out on your own?? 6. Still no courtesy call.

Worst experience, I ordered products via their online portal since the beginning of October, no response. Have sent several emails to do a follow with no reply from the person or persons in charge of my account, I drove to their company at 1 Friesland drive Modderfontein so that perhaps I could interact with a human being was not allowed in. Phones are never answered, their online system does not work. Do they even exist? I wonder how one can get hold of them

I normally dont drink these fizzy tablets and not a big believer in general. Slow-Mag does make a big positive difference in my day. Energy to burn and much more focused. This stuff truly works.

After supplying us with bacteriological agar for the last 16 years, Merck decided overnight to discontinue the product and did not bother to notify us or to offer an alternative. Correspondence to the customer service department went unanswered and we got the message loud and clear; you are not important enough for us to waste time on you.<br> Account value just over R100.000 so that figures.

Euthyrox Batch #188592 - Exp. 08/2017 Manuf. Date 09/2014 - is faulty. I have been taking this for 6 months - same batch. There has been at least a 10% shortfall in dosage in each 30-pack of tablets i.e. 3 or more tablets have been malformed, with the result that each of the malformed tablets has had less than the stated dosage of .1Ug.
