bought Pedros chicken from sunnyside. Came with a seal looking like it was opened and someone tried to put it back. Seal wasnt sticking to the package. sauce was dripping from one top corner of the package as if someone opened it and took a piece after it was sealed. Soviets had sauce marks on them. The driver didn't even talk to me or lokk me in the eye, he just handed me the package, didn't even ask for the code like they usually do. I'm not sure who did this, the store or the driver. I will never ever buy from you guys again. I wasted my money!!!
Took my car for a check up because I had a clicking feeling on the steering wheel. I told the shop to speak to my warranty. Shop says its a steering rack and steering column problem. AA says the car must be stripped or disassembled to take pictures. my question is why must I pay for such a huge job, taking the car apart to reach a steering just for pictures is no joke!!! where must I get the money for that? What is the purpose of your warranty then? You always don't want to pay, these are your first tactics and signs for evading to pay. It is nice, Good and well when you take my money from the bank but when it's time to pay you don't want to, you try every trick under the sun to avoid paying. Opening a car to reach a steering rack is no joke, that's something you don't do just for pictures, diagnostics are there, why are you being so evil to me??? I need the car to go home this December from Pretoria to Durban, you are refusing to pay for repairs yet you said you cover these components. You don't even call me as your client, you have the "deal with it" "I don't care attitude". Guys kindly fix my car.
Today 2025-05-25. I Bought KFC in the morning, the shop that is situated at the Corner of Pretorius and Steve Biko RD in Arcadia, I bought a streetwise 3 chips, only chips were warm but the entire chicken was cold, dry and slightly burnt, which looks like it was yesterday's meat that has been preheated in the morning to sell again. I am really disappointed, this is *****ing money from people. you sell something you wouldn't even eat yourself. I wasted petrol and my money going there to buy something not eatable. I had to drive out and go look for food again as there is no water in Arcadia. If you had to hit someone with this chicken you sold me, they would collapse, this thing is hard as a brick. Why do you sell this to people???? I wish you could learn from KFC in Hatfield and Sunnyside!! You sold me bad chicken!!!!!
I am so appalled... VW Arcadia tried to de***** me, they misdiagnosed the car so they can charge me 35K... 3 weeks after I did a Service with them, my car had a clicking feeling on the steering wheel when im turning while moving slow or parking. I took the car back to them, they checked it and handed me an estimation/quote, the bill was R35 000, they said the issue was a steering rack. I was devastated! My mom just passed away, I've exhausted all of my funds with funeral arrangements and now I have such an expensive problem. I asked how could it be since the car is under 50 000km. I phone VW Head Office and VW said they will give me 50% off because of my mileage. I accepted that even though the bill was still huge. I kept asking myself how did this happen? Cause the car is mostly parked, I work across the road... I kept asking for a damage report from Alex who works at VW Arcadia, he kept giving me the runaround, for 3 to 4 weeks. That is when it hit me that something is wrong here. I took the car to an RMI approved shop in Hatfield, they checked and diagnosed the car, only to find that the problem is one of the shocks. Now my question is.. is this how you do business? you **** people!! Drive them to depression, drive them to debt, so your business can flourish??? Basically you were going to charge me R35 000 and fix the shocks for less than R3000. I have never seen anything like this!! we go to you VW because we trust you, now it is clear you are not to be trusted. this means even servicing the car with you cannot be trusted. VW you are such a *****, a ****. You don't know what you have put me through!!!!
My car was out of warranty and service plan because i was on 40 000+ km. I took the extended service plan from VW in January when I booked my car in for annual service this year, they gave me a two year plan(i was excited). My car was booked in for service, it was in perfect condition, mileage was 49544. I recieved the car back and it drove ok for two weeks (keep in mind, I don't drive the car everyday, cause I work across the road. i would drive it maybe twice a week). on the 3rd week i started noticing small sounds when I turn the steering wheel (when moving slowly or parking). I called VW they said I must bring the car for diagnostic test, they said the issue is with the the steering rack(what a coincidence, warranty just expired, and the problem starts just after they did the service). Anyway, I was given a quote of R35 115 for the steering rack replacement. I couldn't believe it, a car that is hardly driven, never abused has a steering rack problem when it is just below 50 000km and it is serviced all the time, make it make sense? That's not even half of its life span but it's already dying. I am really disappointed with VW!!! You guys have compromised durability and quality of your cars. How can a car have a failing steering rack at 40 000+ km??? Like seriously!!! So basically we are sold cars to last for 35 000 km after that the car breaks???... it breaks while you are still paying for it, this is daylight ******* and unfortunately you are not held accountable, you will hide under wear and tear excuse. I will definitely never buy another VW. I went for a VW because when I think of the brand, I think durability, quality, reliability, not this nonsense. You are quick to ask for ridiculous amounts of money for repairs for something that prematurely breaks, you are not held accountable for anything. 40 900+ km is not a lot of km for me to have a steering rack problem, i would understand if it was 80 000+ km but 40 000+ km, come on guys. what are you selling us??? I am really disappointed!!!! We dont care about features, we want durable, quality cars, that's what VW is, at heart. thats what it stands for!!! how are we supposed to continue supporting you guys if you do us like this???!!!
I always service my car at vw arcadia, this year I no longer had a service plan, so they offered me theirs, which is for two services. I took the service plan and booked in my car for service. For the first time I recieved a receipt that doesn't show what was done on the vehicle but when I was servicing my car previously I would get a receipt that has a breakdown on what was done on the car. I overlooked that. 3 to 4 weeks later I started noticing a clicking feeling on the steering wheel when im turning at low speed (when parking or reversing the car). At first I thought I was stepping on small stones, I still did not take it seriously because the feeling wasn't there when im driving at normal or high speed. Then weeks later the feeling started persisting. I googled the problem, google said it might be low steering fluid, because again it doesnt make a sound but it feels like it is clicking. So I decided to call vw arcadia and explained to them the situation. The Lady that I spoke to said I must book my car in for diagnostics, something of that nature. I must pay R2000 and I explained to her that I've never had this problem before servicing the car and I didnt pick it up earlier cause I hardly drive the car. She started sounding rude and she says she hears all that but that's not their problem. I don't understand how there's no transparency on the work done and when I pick up something that was never there before the service I am told it is not their problem. I'm really disappointed and I will never take my car to that dealership ever again!!!!!
Why the hell would you do this to me??? The agreement is that you deduct my money the last day of the month. Today I borrowed money and deposited it into my account, because there is an emergency back at home, my mom is in hospital, she suffered a stroke. I need to drive from Pretoria to Durban tonight. You guys just deducted the money I was going to use to travel. Guys why do you do this? Play with other people's lives. What am I suppose to do now???? Answer me??? Why you deducting money today, when its not month end???. I'm not behind on insurance payments but you doing this nonsense. I tried contacting you, It says it's outside of office hours. Tell me how are you going to fix this mess. I hate you guys for this, you just ruined everything. I have to deal with my mom being in hospital and then deal with your nonsense. How am I suppose to travel now???? Tell me!!!!
I'm disappointed and disgusted. I took the month to month internet deal with mtn 2weeks ago. I stay alone, I use only two devices, tv for streaming and phone for basic stuff and i switch it off when going to work. I mostly connect only the TV. The internet was good for the first week. Second week, I can no longer watch TV, it's buffering every second, picture quality is blurry. I can't even open whatsapp statuses, it loads all the time. I get the fact that speed reduces after using 100G but it shouldn't reduce to a point where it's unusable, what am I paying for then if I can't even do basic stuff with this internet, like watching tv or being on Facebook.? It's not even overloaded, it's just 1 or 2 devices but it's refusing to deliver. This is *****ing from the people, if you say it's uncapped and im paying, I expect I won't need to buy data elsewhere for the entire month. Kindly assist me with cancellation and I want some of my money back, I basically paid for nothing. This is a horrible deal!!!!

My medical aid refunded me money into my savings account that i previously had with nedbank and i have since closed. i now only have a cheque account with nedbank. i called nedbank explaining what has happened and i have requested my money to be sent to my current account or be reversed because i cannot access it on my side since the account is closed. the response i got from their agent was that, he can see the money, even the reference but i must reactivate the account in order to get access to my money. reactivation fee is R100 to R150. so basically, i must reactivate an account i no longer need and pay money just to get money that belongs to me. this is daylight *******. my mom suffered a stroke, im paying huge medical bills and Nedbank wants to ***** from me also. what a **** of a bank. I WANT MY MONEY!!!!
