Last week Saturday my mum and I were at Greenstone mall with my 3month old,we decided to stop and have lunch at John Fury's as they were having a Prawn special and as a sea food ***** I was excited. We both ordered the 12 Prawn special plus a plate of calamari. After waiting forever for the food as the restaurant was busy our meal came,for the first time ever the Prawns came with a weird barbeque vinaigrette basting on it.. I have never seen this before and they tasted really weird and did not taste fresh at all. As if they had to put the basting just so they can camouflage the stale Old taste of the Prawns. My baby stated troubling so we hurried up and left as we were starving and waited forever I didn't wait to complain. 30 mins after leaving the establishment I started getting strong tummy cramps and was abit concern so we decided to head home. The evening just got more worse with intense pain and cramping. I hardly slpt the night with the immense pain I kept having. On Sunday I spent the entire day throwing up and using the bathroom and only having water and even that was been thrown up.i was in immense pain and realised I had food Poisoning. On Monday when the Doctors practice was open I went in and they did a urine test and sent me for a sonar ultrasound to find out what is going on and the test results came back as sever E-coli food Poisoning. I was in total shock. I was given antibiotics and pain meds to help me get some relief and to help, unfortunately this type of food poisoning is so sever with tented Prawns that now 7 days later with only the last antibiotics left for tomorrow,I am still in lot of pain and still suffering. Will have to make another trip to the dr or something he ER this weekend to try and get some help. I am totally disappointed with John Dorys running a special with bad old stock of seafood that got me sick and my mom, my mom's symptoms thank god was not as bad as mine were. I'm not sure how many other people might have eaten that bath of prawns last sat the 24th Jan 2026 and ended up either hospitalized or worse.
Last Fri the 30th June I called the fnb call centre and asked a consultant to shift money from my budget in my credit card to my straight.. I requested R4000 to be shifted. And I had a total of R6688 in the budget. After she did it I noticed only R1000 was reflecting into my straight. And the balance in my budget was R2688. When I called back and spoke to several consultants at fnb no seemed to know what happened to my R3000 missing. I finally manged to speak to a consultant who log a ticked and advised I would receive feedback after 24hours. On Mon I called again and spoke to several consultants once again and no seems to know where the R3000 went. I have spent over R300 airtime been transfered to dep to dep as no one seemed to know what's going on. I contacted the online chat yesterday as well and was told another ticket is logged as the matter is still not resolved. I called today the 5th July and again spoke to tons of rude agents who kept cutting the call or not speaking on the call and still the issue us not resolved. The email I received with the straight balance is not corresponding with the amount that is in the account. I just need to know where the money went is R3000 is a big amount..
I saw a house rental I was really interested in and contacted the agent, after speaking to him I was told he would get back to Me regarding viewing the property and to find out from the owner regarding my questions. 2 days goes by with no feedback, when I tried calling the agent the cell went on vm, the next day it just rang and went to vm. I left several watsapp messages which was not answered. I called the office of Harcourt and was told that agent was off for the day and given his partner on the add number to contact. I sent him a message aswell and only got a response a day later informing me he will let me know after speaking to the owner when I can view as he has got no feed back. Still 2 days go by with no response from either of agents. This property is avail for 1 Dec and soon will be too late as people may take it, I feel so angry and defeated with this rental agency and the agents are such a waste of time they don't care of getting back to potential renters and feel like they just don't give a damn!! Other agency the agents are hounding u to view and get you in the place, with this one you have to go chasing after the agents for any sort of feedback!! . People rather use other rental agency that actually care about getting the places taken and making you a priority!! Pathetic service ever! They should rather not advertise people's property if this is how they treat potential clients!!!
Went to monte casino and decided to have sausage saloon special the jumbo wors for R90. The 1st time the lady took a Vianna and put in the roll when I told her it's the wrong one, she apologized and said she will make me a new one, all thus after already putting in all the condiments and stuff I wanted on the roll.her second attempt she took a normal wors and when I noticed the Size and asked her she looked at it and her Co worker told her it's the wrong one again. She decided to make me a new roll after all this waiting, but her coworker told her to just remove the sausage and add a the right one, now this was the 2nd time and she just added the jumbo sausage. She then added some chips and handed it to me. Once I was seated and already starving I took 1 bite if it and the wors was stone cold! The chips all tasted so rubbery and uncooked weird texture. I went and told her about the chips and to warm up the sausage I was told this is the way they chips are there's nothing that can be done as they fry them then refry when ppl come so this is how it is. I was very disappointed at the service and price of this sad roll. Eventually after taking a 2nd bite the roll just came apart all soggy and just a complete mess. I was left hungry and angry and wasted money for nothing. After this experience I will no longer be supporting any sausage saloon and this is so sad as I really like it.
I'm so upset with fnb I have been such a loyal client of theirs for years, I had a query regarding my credit card, as they took out a sum of R2600 for payment in July, till date none of my statements are reflecting that amount as taken when u query it with several agents I was told the money is showing on their side and taken for the facility. I was given an email add to query, after sending my email I get feedback they received the money and its available on my credit card which is false!!! I even sent through the sms showing the amount that was taken. I requested a manager to call me and explain why none of my statements are reflecting that amount till date no response. Even last month a further R1100 was taken off and its not reflecting in the account. I feel so cheated by fnb and no seems to care to call and rectify this situation.!! I also qualified for a revolving credit on the 17th Oct I followed all the steps and the account had been created on my side but still having a balance of 0 available. I called on the 18th to find out what's going on they informed me to give the 3 working days as it was escalated and everything should be fine by Friday the 21st Oct. I called yest again as it was the 3rd day only to be told it's sitting with the people to approve and they escalated once again abs by end of day 5pm the money should be available. To my surprise nothing was still done I sitting with a new account with 0 balance?? What's the point of offering someone a product then when it's been accepted and account created you get told to wait for funds over a week?? With all my years in fnb this has to be the worst service ever!!! First they steal your money and there is no trace of it from their side then they offer you credit facilities and don't alloc3you the funds!! If someone can assist me with my stolen money and show me proff it's gone towards my balance I would appreciate it!
Went to blue valley spar for the Promotion of the master chef pots and pans, I called the store manager an hour before going to enquire if they had stock of the master chef casserole.The manger informed me he had stock, when I arrived at the till to redeem my 6 booklets I had all adding to R10000 the cashier pulled out couple sheets of paper checking for my name I informed her I spoke to the manger a d was shocked to see her looking at a paper for my name as this was promotional items suppose to be displayed in front of store for you to pick what pot or pan you wanted and redeemed.. the cashier informed me my name is not on the list so she cannot give me a anything I asked for the manage he came out & stated he will check at the back for stock after waiting several minutes he cane back out to say he got no stock I was so upset & stated i just saw the cashiers giving out the casseroles to people whose names were on a page,he then stated yes we do have stock at the back but they are reserved for people who called and Gave their names.. this is totally unfair and unacceptable as these are promotional items and I spent over R10000 trying to redeem my books for pots I wanted a 2days before the portion ends only to be told this store does under hand things ad no other spar hides stock in the back and makes people write their name to reserve stock.. this blue valley spar should be investigated as they do not practice properly as other spars and refuse customers of the Promotion items which they have stock of due to them having under hand dealings
In 2017 I purchased a defy frost free fridge I have been having continuous problems ever since in 2018 the rubbers needed to be change and water dispenser.. in 2020 dec I called defy and reported the fridge broke down everything inside was warm my food was all gone bad it took defy 9 days later to repair it with a compressor part and regas it, this after numerous daily calls finding out when it will be fixed as living without a daily necessity is hard and 9 days was the pits!! In Jan 2021 I called defy and informed them the top of the fridge is not working properly not getting cold and the rubbers are coming off, after numerous calls at the service centre they finally sent a tech out christo to regas and put a part and I was told to monitor and if I had any prob to call them again.. On the 9th of March 2021 I called defy service centre once again as the fridge was over freezing at the bottom building up ice everywhere the top was once again warm, once again food getting bad.. the defy tech only came out 1 week later on the 19th even thou I had called at stated load sheding was going to start at 2pm they need to come earlier the guy named sibusiso came 5min before power outage and managed to regas the fridge once again and changed the regulator part not distributing the cold properly.. he advised as the power is off I should monitor the fridge and give him a call if I have any problems.. now the 23rd March 2021 I called sibusiso and informed him the fridge door had a terrible squeaking sound and the back were the motor is making it very loud and the top of the fridge is over freezing and the bottom Is defrosting.. he informed me once again he come through and sort it out.. it's now 3 days later still not fixed after numerous calls daily at both the defy service centre and the tech sibusiso I get the run around, I called him today and asked him to come through and once again he stated he was in his way u also called the defy office and the lady stated she spoke to sibusiso and he was on his way, it's now 5pm still no reply.. I smsed sibusiso and gave my address and told him I'm waiting his reply was he is still coming and that I'm working from home?? Meaning I got the whole day to sit and wait for ppl ??? I'm cruelly disgusted at defy and this product and service I'm getting the run around each time this piece of **** breaks down and now I'm noticing after they come and fix 1 thing a month later something else goes wrong I'm just so fed up and tired of living with a broken fridge and spending so much money keep replacing the spoilt goods..as for defy and they techs they continuously lie to u they coming out and days go by leaving u with no fridge!! I'm hyst tired now and want a brand new fridge!!! I cannot go on this year with every other month they keep fixing..
I made payment on the 29th dec of over R19000 and till date I get numerous calls daily asking me for payment and my account has been suspended.. I have been sending proof of payment to various departments in rcs, that agents was giving Me from collections to rcs payments and till date the payment has not been allocated on the account and I am being charged daily interest from the 29th dec which is so pathetic.. I am so frustrated and irate as I have spend so much airtime trying to get this matter sorted out still nothing is being done.. when you ask for a manger to speak to you put on hold to speak to a team leader after holding on the line over 30 mins still no one comes on the line and you told the team leaders are working from home yet they cannot answer a transferred call??? You ask for a manger to complain and you told there is no manger what **** is this?? I feel like retracting my R19000 from my bank as this payment is sitting idle somewhere and I'm being charged Interest on this account, I spoke to 2 teamleaders zuffa and last one today who was so rude leeanne and unhelpful when I requested to speak to a manager she kept insisting the manager will say the same thing , eventually I spoke to the manager Mohamed who gave me his email address and stated he will be in touch with me regarding feedback and will have his admin team look into this matter and make sure the payment is allocated, and stated he will be sending my pop directly to the finance manager to make sure it is done today and sorted out.. I am quite ****ed off right now as you get various agents giving you various departments to email your pop and it's not done a month later and you get a call today stating the account has been open and no longer suspended and the payment is showing but refuses to remove the Interest fees, yet when I call this afternoon the 22nd Jan I was told no payment is showing!!!
Purchased a defy fridge in 2017 along with a Samsung microwave after few months the microwave ended up faulty and I got a replacement then the rubbers of the fridge started coming off which defy came and replaced. As of the 6th December I am sitting with no fridge as the fridge stopped working I reported this matter to Game and after several constant calls a defy technician came out on Tuesday the 1st December to assess the fridge I was told the compressor is either broken or maybe something else,I was told defy would order a part and the rubbers as all out is and send out another technician before Friday the 4th to assess the fridge again and replace the part.. I had to constantly call Game and find out why no one had come back and fixed the fridge and why was this matter not sorted out its now 9 days and still no fridge which is totally ridiculous and unacceptable! I called Game once again yesterday and was told to call on Monday Morning the 7th to remind them to follow up on defy to check when they can come out with the part and fix the fridge.. this has been the worse experience ever sitting with a daily necessity as a fridge for over a week and getting no clear idea when it can be fixed. I should have been given something to use in the meantime or given a clear indication when it would be sorted as high priority. Just dissapointed with both Game and Defy worse service ever!
I Purchased a Phillips perfect-care steam iron during lock-down on special at R1000 at Pick and Pay Greenstone, less than 3 months while ironing my ironing board collapsed and the the iron fell down and the tip came off, now the iron is not steaming up as it suppose to, i contacted pick and pay and sent the iron to Phillips to get a quote on the repairs after a month they came back to me stating the repairs including their labor is coming to R980 which is totally outrageous as that's the same price of purchasing a new iron, who in their right mind will pay that amount to fix a iron less that 3 months when you can get a new one and also now they stating the 2 years warranty and guarantee falls away as the iron fell. i am quite upset with this and believe Phillips are ripping off their customers just to purchase their products they when they need to be repaired they over charge you. just last week Makro had the exact same iron going for R700 from R1500 and this week for Black Friday im sure lots of other places will have the iron on special around R1000 so why on earth will i pay R1000 To fix something that was beyond my control i feel this amount is ridiculous and so high and phillips cannot assist their customers. i wont be supporting this brand going forward if this is the way they treat their customers and rip them off. oh and not to forget i was told if i reject they quote in order to get my iron Back i need to pay R200 for the release like really? i send it for repairs then get charged as i refuse the quote. i never expected this from Phillips.
