We got a month contract as we are leaving the country, when doing all the admin, our 4yo daughter was present...nothing mentioned to us. Today, 01.06.2023, we had to bring her along as we did not have anyone to look after her, only as we walked in, we were informed (not rudely, but not in a friendly manner either) that children under 12 are not allowed in the gym. Neither my husband nor myself was happy about this, as we could've been informed when doing the signup. We have also had problems of our tags being disconnected due to 'non-compliance', took us 2 days to sort ou, was only signatures that was not captured & no one informed us. We've had issues where mwith power outages there is not enough equipment available as well as members not being asked to move from equipment after the 'allotted' time. One good thing is that the lady who runs the cafe, makes an AMAZING iced coffee. We are truly glad the membership is almost over.
I have now recieved 2 message for a Mr. E. Shinate to pay the account, & I am not this person. The store should check their customers contact details throughly.
1st time ever we've been here that I as a passanger had to have my photo taken, then when leaving the same issue, security did not even have an ID card, just a hand written slip with a name on. I'm pretty sure my husband will be closing the account.
Yesterday after having terrible service at John Dory's Springs Mall, we walked over to Ocean Basket. And what wonderful service we received, even though we were take away clients. The waiters that were not busy were stationed at the entrance & all greeted us warmly. The waiter who assisted us was so sweet & accommodating & our order was out very quickly despite having about 10 tables. Without having to ask he confirmed how we would like our fish cooked, if we would want to go do a bit of shopping or be seated & he brought our bill. When the food was ready, he brought it to our table to show us to confirm if all was in order before paking it for us. Keep it up guys, you made a bad situation better. The food was super delicious too. Thank you
We went to the Springs Mall location to get take aways. Upon arrival, there was only one table & one waiter serving them so we walked in & out of seemed to be nowhere a waiter popped out at out side. We said we wanted the take fish & chips special. He did not ask how we would like our fish cooked, if we would like to pay or be seated, he just ran off to place the order so we called after him to let him know that we needed to do quick shopping. After 15min we arrived back. The two men standing at the entrance suddenly had something to do, so we walked in to the counter & announced we were here for our take away. Our waiter went to the lady behind the counter & then was ushered to a table that had just been seated. The lady proceeded to the back where we could see her slowly packing our order & then to do something else, still no one came to ask if we would like to pay. With take aways, people are usually in a hurry & the quicker things can get done, the better. After waiting a couple more minutes with no one paying a us any attention, we decided to go to where our business would be welcomed. Ocean Basket took our order, took payment, SHOWED us our order all in under 15min, without us having to ask once for anything, despite them having about 10 tables seated. I do not want a phone call, as I feel if we were wanted there, we would've been treated like it. Thumbs up to Ocean Basket. John Dorey's won't see us again.
Very disgusted & disappointed with the false advertising & my humiliation as result. I am a nursing mom & yesterday to see the special of ANY (turns out it was only specifics) CARMIEN 20 tagless teabags, 3 for R70, was such great news, so I took 3x CARMIEN Nursing teas. Long story short, apparently the nursing(mamma) tea does not fall under the CARMIEN tea... And I as a customer (who has no decisions in how DisChem categorise their products) was supposed to know this how... Smell it? I was so angry & embarrassed, that I ended up not taking one. This is absolutely appalling Dischem, that the customer has to suffer under your false advertising!
O.R. Tambo Branch - Tonight for my last working night, I wanted to get my shift a nice meal for my farewell. The lady at the counter was not very friendly when receiving us, not really attentive & when another customer came to the counter whilst we were trying to decide on sides, she started assisting the other client. When I mentioned this, she had a lot of excuses but STILL carried on assisting the other client, though we were there 1st. I find this extremely infuriating & disappointing, after I have not used Debonairs in 7 years due to DISGUSTING service, just to have this happen again. We ended up reverting back to Chicken Licken, as their staff are always so friendly, patient & helpful & thus they are ALWAYS busy compared to Debonairs. I will not ever use your company again, as the only dish that you serve well is utter disappointment.
We have been paying, more than the monthly installment & for over a year been calling & emailing requesting statements (as this is NOT sent monthly as it should), to no avail. The first month we don't pay (as according to our calculations we are ahead & due to non-existent communication from Teljoy) we are immediately harassed by rude phone calls to pay or else! We had to threaten non-payment before receiving a incorrect statement & after many more fights, we received the correct statements with correct allocation of payments. Now again, because Teljoy fail to do reconciliation correctly, we get called again, by a different consultant, being very ryde & demanding payment. This is disgusting customer service & the reason why we will not use this company again & likewise advise friends & family to stay away.
Staff have no respect for customers & when mentioned on their group, it gets made out that you are the one at fault. Not even an apology!! These are the kinds of things that keep me away from my favorite stores. I surely would think go there again. But I guess you get what you pay for, in future I'll rather spend a little extra & at least have peace of mind that I'm valued.
<p> I ordered 2 fitness watches that were on a daily special, after about 3 months, my device ceased, so I sent it back & was told that I would receive an email to confirm my preference (repair, replace, refund or credit). Never received the email, just got a credit. Later on I saw another device, lower model, & ordered with my credits & funny enough, that's when my husbands device ceased. So I sent it back too. This time I received the email, 02.05.2017, with 24hrs to reply. 03.05.2017 I replied that I want it repaired or replaced with the lower model that I have ( as they always seem to be out of stock when returning) or then a refund. Laterite day I request an email that my account was credited as I had not replied. So they sell faulty stock at discounted rates & then ignore the client's request, as the lower model now at a higher price, so I I'd had to use my credits, I would have to pay in. I will never use their services again.</p>
