******** Institution!!! My husband paid R500 for 5 Medium Jockeys (he Always wears a Medium) and after seeing it was too small, we went back 12 hours later for a large packet. They refuse us to exchange it (he wore his own underwear while trying the new ones obviously just to check the size) and they also refuse a refund. Telling us our only option forward is paying a discounted price for the large. That is *****ING. We will make sure you pay a lot with legal expenses including ours.
SO disappointed. After years of efficient service it seems like Takealot's days have been counted. Unreliable and impossible to reach educated call assistants. I paid extra for an emergency parcel - delivery Thursday - and today I still haven't received my sms for delivery or any valid feedback. My app says "shipped and deliver before 28 Dec" and it is the 30th today. Did the government overtake Takealot? Gosh I can't wait for Amazon to come and save the day!! I'm officially DONE with Takealot after 10 years of supporting them. Shame on you!!
I have been sitting for 20 minutes - for the 3rd time in a row - at Bootlegger de Waterkant in Cape Town without ANY service or interest to serve me as a client. I am writing this review as I am sitting here. I will make sure people stay as far away from this place as possible. The attitude and effectivity of this company is disgraceful I don't understand how you run a restaurant this way - speaking as a restaurant owner myself. All I can say is good luck because I am not expecting a reply from this chain. Maybe having an actual MANAGER present will change it, but still not the attitudes walking around here.
You pay exuberant prices for their "top end" products, then 3 years later a part breaks and nobody is able to contact me back for assistance. The part isn't available on your website and you don't respond to emails. I even followed up on my first email to no avail.
This company is working very closely with the ombudsman for short term insurance - accusing clients of LYING and taking the word of non-apple certified technicians (also appointed by the insurance companies) on what happened to your device. One huge mafia teaming up to ***** client's money!!! Stay very far away from them all! MFC or Zenith are much better options.

I would love for the owner to contact me seeing that he is unreachable and his local branches are run by little cartels (including regional managers) where the staff are placed above the paying clients. I will advise everyone I meet to weigh up other alternatives.

STAY AWAY - THIS IS A CRIMINAL INSTITUTION THAT WILL ONLY USE YOU TO GET AS MUCH MONEY AS POSSIBLE WHEN TRYING TO CANCEL A CONTRACT AND EVENTUALLY BLACKLIST YOU So. I had a contract (adsl) with Telkom since around 2013. Beginning of last year we enquiried for a fixed line at our house. Nobody ever showed up to install it and about 4 months later we were getting bills for that fixed line. That is just ANOTHER cute story that happened to us - here is the real issue. We switched over to CellC fiber around 10 October 2018. I contacted Telkom end of September to cancel my contract with them. I went into the store where they told me that they are unable to help me, I must call an agent. So that I did. I was told that another "agent" will phone me back to confirm the cancellation fee for contract breach etc. which was fine with me. I went home, did the online adsl cancellation form and received my case number to give them when they call me. I waited until week 2 of November to no avail. I then contacted an agent via the online chat. Explained the situation (after getting billed for another month). They then realised, after almost 6 years of contacting me successfully, that they have the wrong cellphone number to contact me on. I corrected that and was promised to be called back. I wanted to save the chat, only to my horror to find out that when the agent ends the chat, it disappears. Week 1 of December came together with a new bill (2 months outstanding now - I am still waiting for an agent to call to settle the October bill and cancellation fee). I physically called an agent again (a bit more annoyed) only to be told that they didn't contact me because the number is still wrong! Corrected it again. Still no call back. So I went to the bank to recall the past 2 debit orders that they simply took off and no one is calling me back. The lady at Nedbank started laughing when I told her the problem and said that I'm definitely not the first client with EXACTLY this problem and that came in to reverse the debit order. January the same thing happened, I went in to reverse it and that was it. I didn't here one word from Telkom. So last month (May 2019) debt collectors start contacting me for a crazy account from Telkom. I explained the situation to them and they said that the amount to be paid (which I was okay with) is about 1.5 month's extra adsl that I didn't use and the cancellation fee. I told them that I will make payment if they can confirm with their client (Telkom) that my contract is cancelled and I won't ever receive a bill from them again. They didn't answer me but told me 2 weeks ago that I will be blacklisted if I do not pay. So I replied asking them for their account number to pay the amount we agreed on. They replied and informed me that they can't help me, my account has been referred back to Telkom all of a sudden. They still have not contacted me. I went to CellC yesterday to take out a small cellphone contract for one of my employees only to have it declined due to TransUnion telling them the owner of the business is not allowed to get any type of contract!!! It feels like my hands are chopped off!! I've run into the Telkom store various times, being so annoyed and rude, only to be told they cannot do anything!!! The "agents" talking to you via telephone are just as useless seeing that they never call back when wanting to get rid of your contract! The online chat agents are even worse and rude. Please inform me how on God's earth does one speak to a type of a MANAGER or OWNER at Telkom? Is it a government institution? Because this experience definitely makes it feel like it.
<p>I am terribly dissapionted with this place. Sherrin Young was very helpful in the beginning until she gets use to her clients. I have a serious problem with a solenoid for my Jeep now and I asked her for a specific quote (after I've dealt with them for a year almost). She didn't come back to me and 2 weeks later I had to follow up. She "promised" to get back to me the next day and to this day - another month later - she just left it and never got back to me. And not even metioning the fact that she urged me to go and rate her specifically only to turn out like this.</p> <p>Not only that - I then took my Jeep to the PROPER JEEP SERVICE CENTRE in Century City and they phoned me very concerned. They wanted to know who serviced this car (November last year). It was Autoworks. So they told me my brake disks are at 15% and the diesel fitler that you guy replaced - I still remember you had trouble finding a "new" one - was replaced with a secondhand rusted filter and other parts also look horrible. Thank you for nothing. Also fire Sherrin if possible. Client service my ****, I will tell everyone I know about this even the people who I know take their cars there. No wonder your prices are so "cheap". I am so disappointed. Now it is anyway going to cost me so much more to fix all the **** you have created. Regretfully I serviced it there twice thinking you are doing your job.</p>
