I am highly disappointed with Citiliner and Greyhound at their Pietermaritzburg office. They do not provide restroom facilities for passengers, which is unacceptable and denies customers basic sanitation and dignity. To make matters worse, nearby petrol stations and other bus offices refuse to assist, leaving passengers stranded without help. This shows a serious lack of customer care and goes against the Consumer Protection Act (Section 54 – Right to Fair and Quality Service) and the right to basic needs and dignity. I urge Citiliner and Greyhound to fix this immediately by providing proper restroom facilities. Until then, I cannot recommend their services.
I am very disappointed with the service I received from QuickBus. I made an online booking and completed the payment through my Capitec account at 12:14. However, I never received my ticket after payment was confirmed. I waited for over two hours with no communication or ticket issued. I eventually had to call their customer service at around 14:30 to follow up before they could assist me. This delay was very inconvenient and unprofessional. QuickBus needs to improve their system and customer communication. Customers should not have to chase after a ticket they’ve already paid for.
I had an outstanding experience at Mr Price Liberty/ Midlands mall in Pietermaritzburg, KZN. The staff, from the manager who assisted me with the donation voucher letter I brought to the store, to the floor staff who went above and beyond in helping me select the necessary clothing for our NPO beneficiaries, were absolutely wonderful. Their exceptional service and willingness to go the extra mile made a significant impact on my overall experience. I am truly grateful for their assistance and dedication to making a positive difference in the community.
In November 2023, I made the decision to purchase two laptops from the Game store, which is conveniently located in the bustling Pietermaritzburg CBD. However, to my dismay, these laptops have remained untouched and unused since their purchase. Determined to find a solution, I embarked on numerous attempts to contact the store, hoping to facilitate an exchange for office chairs instead. Regrettably, despite my persistent efforts, I have been met with nothing but disappointment and frustration. Emails have been sent and phone calls have been made, yet each interaction has yielded no assistance or resolution. The fact that I find myself residing more than 70 kilometers away from the store only exacerbates my annoyance, as it seems utterly absurd that I must endure the lengthy journey only to be met with an unhelpful outcome.
Been trying to perform a SIM swap several times after losing my phone with no luck, as the response I have received that I needed to visit MTN Shop assistance, went to Dobsonville mall for assistance and after waiting for more than 2 hours due to load shedding, I was told that the don't have network meaning another day will pass without getting assistance from this poor network service it's so annoying that my business has to suffer because of their poor service
I did I was transferred from one department to another until I was told that it was already 5 minutes to cancellation department closing time and I have to cancel it on the 19/12/2022. Think the initial call from DSV I arranged for the 14/12/2022 delivery because I was supposed to be out of the province by 15/12/2022 and now was inconvenienced by the lack of professionalism from their side costing me dearly.
Made a delivery appointment for 14/12/2022 for MTN sim contract, waited the whole day with no communication from their side, called them and was put on hold for more than 30 minutes, and the call was cut off, they never return the call, call them again and it was the same experience. On 15/12/2022 called again, the first call I experienced a similar situation as the previous day's calls. On the second attempt was told that my parcel was picked up incorrectly by a driver from a different route. I advised the agent to cancel my parcel as they are playing silly games in their contact centre, and she advised that I call my service provider which I did I was transferred from one department to another until I was told that it was already 5 minutes to cancellation department closing time and I have to cancel it on the 19/12/2022. The horror of a trip. On 12/11/2022 the 9:30 am bus from Pietermaritzburg to Johannesburg arrived late at 1:30 pm. Called their customer service, and the consultant was rude and hung up several times until I threatened them by going to the media that's when they were able to listen and give false information. The bus was full of ****roaches and the windows were not opening in the hot weather, bus heaters were on no air conditioner. As an asthmatic person, I had palpitations and the driver refused to stop claiming the bus has problems, the bus was struggling with steep roads and frequently overheating. Arrived at Johannesburg at 01:38 and their offices were closed they knew of the problem yet they overlooked our safety. They cared less about us. I have proof of these, took videos of ****roaches going up and down, broken seats.
I was dissapointed with Pep store Dobsonville, I was told that I cannot come in with the trolley, even parking it in the store I had to take out the plastic and put them at the parcel counter inconvinencing clients , while pep store in Westgate does allow customers to park their trolleys in store for convinience of the clients. I guess pep store in the location does not value their clients as their counterparts in the surburb area.
18 January 2021 Dobsonville branch has terrible service, I waited for more than an hour in a queue to entter, once I went in, to my surprise the was only 2 consultants that we were assisting customers in service/ Enquiries departmentntntnt. And their services was very slow I waited for more than 1hour 30 minutes and still no assistance decided to leave the branch because it clearly showed that I was gonna wait for before I could be assisted I have decided to cancel all bank
