I have called in to upgrade my account and it was said that it is fine. However, I received a call back saying that they cannot upgrade my account as I do not earn a salary. I've had my account with FNB since Saanbou was taken over by FMB and that's manhy years. I also earn a decent salary. However, I've noticed my monthly fees increased without my account being upgraded.
I tried to give notice in order to cancel my contract before the end date of the contract arrives. Vodacom agent is simply refusing and put the phone down in my ear. This is simply unacceptable and unprofessional to say the least. I hereby openly notice to cancel my contract on the expiery of my term and to convert the number to prepaid.
I have been trying to make an online payment to Mr Price Money for almost six months now, and every single time, I get an error. It’s not a once-off glitch — this is a consistent issue that has not been resolved despite numerous attempts to get help. Every time I phone the call centre, I’m told the system is offline. Yet, my friends can literally sit next to me and make payments on the same website with no issues — so how can it be offline only for me? Whenever I ask the agents to escalate or fix the issue, I’m either transferred around with no resolution or the call is dropped mid-conversation. It’s rude, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. To make things worse, I get calls asking when I will be making payment before my salary date or even the actual due date. How does that make sense? Mr Price Money seriously needs to improve its systems and customer service. I’ve been more than patient, but this is becoming beyond frustrating.
Hungry Lion Somerset Mall told me that my transaction was not approved and made me transct again, when in dact the first was approved. When I asked for my money back they said it would automatically be reversed, it has not been reversed - now three days! Now they want bankstatements and all other stuff to prove it, when the manager at the store saw what happened and was notified and shown at the spot. They say it was a double deduction, which is untrue. I just want my money back, not nonsense.
Bought a drink, there was an issue. Company refuses to refund my cash. The insist on sending a airtime voucher.
I recently took out a new contract with MTN online, and the experience has been nothing short of frustrating. I’ve been trying to follow up on the status of my device delivery, but none of the contact options on MTN's official page seem to be working. The phone number doesn’t connect, the WhatsApp line is unresponsive, and emails go unanswered. This has left me completely in the dark about my order, with no way to track its progress. I expected better service from a company as established as MTN. It’s disappointing to see such poor communication channels for customers. Please provide a reliable way to get updates on my device delivery or improve your support services to assist customers promptly.

I visited Sunset Beach Spur in Gordon’s Bay on 8 December 2024, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. While our server was friendly and seating was quick, the issues started immediately. When I sat down, I discovered a puddle of liquid on my chair, which was unpleasant. The beverages we ordered, a small Coke for my son, a milkshake for me, and a drink for my wife, were fine, but the food and service were a disaster. We ordered Wacky Viennas for my son, but they were so overcooked they looked like biltong. Getting tomato sauce required asking three different servers. From the sharables menu, the crumbed mushrooms were tasteless, the calamari strips were rubbery, the onion rings were burnt, and the chips were dry. To top it off, we had to repeatedly ask for cutlery, which should have been provided automatically. A manager then rudely approached my wife, scolding her for bending the menu as she tried to show me what she wanted. The tone was completely unprofessional. Meanwhile, the play area, where we expected our son to have fun, was poorly supervised. Two staff members stood idle in the corner as an older child bul**** my son repeatedly. The condition of the bathrooms was also appalling. In the men’s bathroom, there was urine everywhere around the toilets and urinals, so I decided to have my wife take our son instead. She reported the same issue in the women’s bathroom: urine everywhere and a long wait because one of the staff members was in the stall doing her makeup. She only came out after being scolded by another staff member. We left without ordering mains because the experience was so unpleasant. Sunset Beach Spur seriously needs to address its food quality, staff behavior, play area supervision, and hygiene standards. This visit was not up to the standards I expect from Spur, and I doubt I’ll return anytime soon.

Truworths keep on pushing my credit limit up and I am not comfortable with it, even though I can afford to pay it, I feel that according to my credit report, this is blocking me from getting credit anywhere else and it is affecting my score. Please give me a call.
