I’ve had an incredibly frustrating experience with this service provider for years. Without my consent, they have repeatedly added contracts to my account and increased my monthly charges. I never agreed to the additional contract and when I contacted them to dispute, I was met with rudeness and zero accountability from Nkululeko and others. Trying to resolve this matter has been a nightmare-customer service is dismissive and unhelpful and I’ve been left footing the bill for something I did not sign up for. I strongly advise others to stay away from Vodacom. Don’t answer any of their outsourcing calls that sells *******. I regret renewing my contract with them and hope this review saves someone else the stress and frustration I’ve been through.
There’s a trend I've experienced lately with multiple drivers. After reaching my destination and ending the trip, the driver fails to end the trip on their app, resulting in additional unwanted charges when paying with a card. I've noticed this happening frequently, and I'm irritated that’s done intentional. I'd appreciate it if you could look into this matter and take necessary actions to prevent such incidents or we are done. Trip details: Mashudu at 3:43pm 16/01 and Mpilo 02/01 @ 8:33am.
They don’t deserve to be in business those ******. They are chance takers and must be taken down. They replaced the screen protector without me giving them a go ahead or telling the price. They charged me R1200 for a screen protector that costs not more than R400. Chance takers and ******. They are *********. We know where they operate and what they look like. They need to stopped!

And here I thought Vodacom is the worst. R59 month to month contract has been cancelled but I owe R263. I called them for answers and as I was explaining to Mbali we got cut off. Listen….they don’t deserve the rating. One of the reasons I cancelled them years back it’s because of their pathetic customer service. Clearly they have not improved. To get an access to PVR is a mission. We spent lots of money calling the call centre with no joy. Went to the branch to activate and was charged for an access that I still don’t have. You are useless, still!
Vodacom is so unprofessional damn it. They are so exhausting. They sold me a contract I did not agree on. I don’t know what it is for. Please don’t answer calls from Vodacom sales people (stupid human beings). They are fraudulent, unprofessional and out of order. I don’t want that contract. I will cancel everything I have with you if you don’t sort this BS…out!
I've been renting at Route 82 security village 1 for 2years now. I decided to buy a unit through Jessica Chauke (cosmo) who said she and rental are one and the same. Jessica got what she wanted and now I'm left stranded with debts to pay. She did not communicate enough and clearly don't care about their clients. I should be moving out from the rental in 2 days. They took the October rental money. I need to start paying first installment. There are taxes and fees to be paid for September and October in the new place. I still don't have the keys to move in. There's termination of lease penalty as well. The rental does want to help with anything. The only thing I'm getting from Jessica is "sincere apologies " I don't know how I'm going to sort this problem out. Everyone involved is benefiting from all this besides me the client.
Placed an order online on the 25th of May 2020 for delivery. After 16 days i call 0860 600 999 and 0860 300 999. With no joy. Send WhatsApp and still no joy. I get an email, with an invoice of purchase. I get excited with hope that the nightmare is over. Well again, days later, still no joy. Get an email 12Jun from Katlego Kwakwa, saying my query has been escalated. I replied "escalate and tell Makro i want my money back". No responce. 2 days after, another email from Julia Mashifane, Palesa Lekgau cc'd. The email says "after reconsidering.....we decided to cancel the order". I ask what happened to the other item? No response. Today 18th Jun, decided to drive and sort this out. As i was approaching Makro Alberton, i get a call from a Nozy from online depart. #One unprofessional chick. I tell her I'm almost there, can she sort out my refund. I get to the store, i finally meet this Nozy. Still unfriendly, thinking she's doing me a favor. The item is there, has been there for a while. Why was it not delivered...she couldn't answer. Did the paperwork, just when i thought we are done, she says "COME WITH ME". No please! Cool We get to collections depart....i still sign. Then again, "LET'S GO TO THE TILLS". I follow as i was summoned. At the tills, they chat and laughed...i stood there for a good 15 mins. Eventually they opened the till, told me to sign "AGAIN". Was given some of what's due to me. Today reminded me why i don't like to be serviced by our black sisters. It sucks...it stinks. As for Nozy...she won't go anywhere in life, sadly. I think from this experience, I'M DONE WITH MAKRO. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!
Do they even care about their customers? We pay our hard earned money to watch the same thing over and over...yet the treatment is disturbing. All of a sudden, I owe them R3000...odd. Mind you, there has always been a debit order. We use our airtime for heaven sake to make you guys aware that you messed up. On top of the drama...i get an error. "They can't help", i need to call a technician. Is this what we pay for? We work so hard for what we earn. Take us seriously or **** off maan.
