HP133 - I ordered some items from the DIYshop. Everything went fine. They couriered it with DSV. This is the second time that DSV transported it across the countryside, sending it on the wrong route to get here. It went from Jhb - to Cape Town - to be told this is not their route. It was sent back to Jhb, who then sent it via Upington and Springbok. I mean - these routes are DSV routes - and they cannot get it right. I waited three weeks for my order to arrive. It is not acceptable and due to this - I will not order from the diyshop again. So, due to incompetence, and business has lost out - what a bad experience. I will never use DSV for anything else - ever again. I complained to their head office... never received anything from them. Never again !
I had 4 inspections done by them at a cost of R 1750-00. Everything works in my house and this has been so since the time i bought the house. They want to charge me on so many irrelevant things like: An electrical outlets cover is cracked - R 650-00 to replace the lot. They want to put in a brand new Db board at the pool - its working just fine R 4800-00. The list goes on and on - totaling nearly R 12000-00 for "repairs" When i told them they are a ******* - i was asked to negotiate ? Compliance certificates are there to make sure that there is COMPLIANCE - not replace when something still works. I have had to approach another company due to this one trying to rip people off..... I will spread the word as much as i can - DO NOT USE BUGS AND SPARKS !!!!
Tableview branch: The Generator bought from them still under warranty. Firstly, i used the invoice to pay the R 900-00 service fee. I was told to pay it into another account as the business had just been sold. I would not do this as i used the original invoice with banking details. The branch in Bellville eventually reversed it. I was told by the owner of Tableview to pick up the machine as he would not help me. Still under warranty ? The problem was resolved and he charged R 1200-00 to fix it with a R 952-00 labour fee.... all while being under warranty. The owner is a horrible man with a huge chip on his shoulder. I will never ever use them again. People be aware: the after sales service is of the worst kind i have ever experienced. Do not shop here....
I bought some plakkies about 3 months ago. The sole has become slightly un glued in a few places. I wrote to them and Jalen helped me. They are replacing the plakkies. I was happy for them to re-glue, but a whole new replacement. Besides the excellent quality of the leather shoe, this is perhaps the best service i have ever received. Keep up the good work, i will buy from you again.
I have been with Hostking for more than a year. I was paying R 29-00 per month for hosting my website. Febuary is the only month that i received an invoice for R 48-00. I queried this and they took 2 weeks to reply. The reply from Amy Klein was - they have not had an increase and i am on an outdated package. NO warning was ever given to me and this explanation is just pathetic. I am moving to Bisnet now - paying the same amount as before. The service from Hostking is much to be desired for. They were good at one stage and then the wheels fell off. I am highly annoyed at the utter lack of professionalism and business etiquette.
I had written a review on these products then removed it due tome feeling bad for Chris. Then the retorts came and i thought" you will not get away with this" People have a right to know what they are getting into. I cleaned the glasses with Sunlight Liquid ( which apparently - you cannot )..I have been using this practise for many many years and no outcome to date - except these sub quality glasses. All the tint came off. I asked for a refund and another pair was sent.... WHY ? I found out that the glasses cost about $ 4 ( yes - four dollars - about R70-00 ) The price is R 599.00 This is why he did not want to give me a refund. People do NOT waste your money - this is the biggest rip off i have ever witnessed. @ Chris -You can have your second pair of " **** " sunglasses - they will not be worn. What an utter disappointment of the product and the business approach to ripping people off......
Duberry glasses... worn 3 times and washed it in sunlight liquid. Was told by Chris that solvents and detergents are not to be used. You cannot wash glasses with sunlight liquid ?????????????? This is the mildest soap one can get.... Utterly pathetic excuse for poor quality.. Will NEVER do business again - i wonder what the other products are like - probably also cheap Chinese products... In all fairness - Chris gave me another pair as he would not re-imburse me. Service was great- pity about sub standard merchandise..... If you are thinking about a new pair..... look elsewhere and save your money.
I had a house in Kloof which needed a lot of work. Brad took over R 30 000 and did not do anything. This guy will rip you off and steal your money. If you need any advise - do not use him....
Sunningdale Branch: I went there to get my brakes done. Eddie phoned me to tell me the wear was still good. This is service above and beyond as many people would replace, just for the sale. If i need anything else, i will go there again.
I ordered a garmin from them cos they were the cheapest. The order was flawless and Esther was very good. Pleasure doing business with them.
