I took car insurance with absa idirect. Cover meant to start on the 30th of April. I tried to do the online inspection but wasn't successful and was adviced to sent images via email to dvi@absa.co.za. I did that, then gave them atleast 24 to process. The 1st of May was a public holiday. On the 2nd of May which was a Saturday, I called in and spoke to Njabulo Mguni who escalated my request to get feedback/inspection certificate. No further feedback received. On the 3rd was a Sunday I called and was to call on Monday. Monday the 4th of May, I called spoke to Makuna Sekgope who said she did send a follow up email and I should receive inspection certificate before end of business. No further feedback was received. Tuesday i called and was told the same story. Today I called which is the Wed the 6th of May, spoke to Eurika Monageng who was very dismissive and told me she can also only sent a follow up email and nothing more. Note I cancel my existing insurance on the 30th to start with absa. I have been debited on the 30th by absa for this cover. I have no received any feedback on whether I'm covered fully or not.
I bought a meal via drive through at McDonald's Allendale by Sasol garage. Their chips were not fresh. Tasted like they have been reheated several times. Not crunchy but very chewy. I was on my way to work therefore couldn't go back to complain. I tried to call the store on the numbers listed on the website to mo answer. Such terrible experience shouldn't be left unattended. We spend money and to get old stale food is very unfair.
I places an order on the 11th of Oct and it stipulated that it will arrive at the store for pick up with 5-10 working days. Day 12 and I haven't received notification to collect. I called on day 9 amd they told me the order is enroute to the store. I call today day 12 and the order is not delivered still with the courier. Poor customer care. No communication from store unless you call amd even after calling there's no solution but to wait for a miracle.
Reception lady was friendly. Welcomed me, showed me the refreshment corner and the changerooms and bathroom. Some of lockers in the changerooms weren't working, the staff was aware but no signage was put to indicate this. Went to the massage rooms. Massages were okay, nothing great. When we were done, noone attended to us to atleast show us where the other amenities were. Finally figured our way to the pool area. Found a couple who ordered a bottle of sparkling wine. Asked for the same and we were told by the male waiter that we can't order the bottle as they had a romantic package. He took his time to bring the drinks to us. On our way out we enquired about the romantic package and the lady at reception checked and noone had book a romantic package that day. Just poor service all round. The lady at the reception saved the day as she was sweet and very friendly.
I took a car insurance with absa activate. Tried to cancel as usual found something better. I can't get through their lines. I called and held for over 30mins to get to the customer service. I've send numerous emails and only get the retention automated response with reference and promises that an agent will contact me. It's been over 3 weeks now and noone has contacted me
Rented a car with Hertz. Was helped by Miss Choma. She explained the whole rental terms and conditions and was very friendly. Received amazing service. Upon return ws helped by young gentleman. Very friendly. Handled my case effectively and efficiently. I'm a very happy client. Overall great customer care.
Isiah Reddy was so friendly. Helped me so efficiently and made sure I end the call as a happy customer. He listened to my needs and made sure I was heard and that yielded best results. I am very happy.
The McDonald's staff on Allendale road are so rude. Firstly they drag their feed to take an order. Then they still get the order wrong. As a customer I had to drive back to rectify an order and they didn't even apologize. I normally buy from there and the service is normally okay. Today was horrible
Perfume room really amazed me. The ordering was very seamless and I was updated until delivery. The package was well wrapped and came in good conditions. The perfumes really smell good and look exactly like the originals.
I bought items from makro on the 15th of May. Tried to return them with a big hassle (never again). Finally returned the items and then now time for refund. The customer care agents firstly are so dismissive and rude. Spoke to a Miss Nyangeni who was utterly dismissive and very rude. Didn't want to listen to my grievances and help me. I had spoke to a Miss Wood a few days ago who gave me time frames for the refund but the time frames have lapsed and I haven't my refund. They keep extending the time frames but apparently refund has been processed over a week ago but hasn't reflected in my account. Poor customer care
