“Mtn service champion” are in NO way champions. Rude, arrogant and *********** staff. My account was incorrectly debited for a contract that was cancelled within 2 days and I am still waiting for my refund from 2025. No one is willing to help and quite honestly the worst service I have received. The call centre agent drops the call in my ear and the others that does help sound like they sleeping. You’d think I was calling a government company. When I called back and requested the staff members details who dropped the call I was told it was “due to bad network”. Ironic that a network company does not have good network. Immensely disappointed in the service received or lack thereof.
My fibre contract was up with Vodacom and I had found a better deal with Mweb. After calling to cancel, Vodacom agreed to match the premium and speed Mweb was offering which meant upgrading from 50mbps to 100. As a result I agreed to renew my contract with Vodacom. Ever since then I have had poorer network that I’ve had prior to the upgrade with download speed only going up to 30 mbps. After numerous calls to Vodacom call centre and no help- I get told there are no reference numbers for the calls and an electrician will be in touch in “48 hours”. I have been calling from 1 Oct atleast 3 times a week and to date no electrician has contacted me. In addition to the slow speed, I lose connectivity in totality atleast twice a week. When calling Vodacom to not that the service is down and that I should not be billed for service I haven’t received they tell me the line is active on their end when I literally can see I don’t have connection. When asking to speak to a manager the lady had no customer service skills and told me if I’m not happy with their service I must send an email. I am now trying to cancel the service as I am not getting what I was promised or what I am paying for. They have said I can cancel but will still be liable to pay for the contract as it is 12 months even though I am not receiving the connection or speed I signed up for.
If I could give zero stars I would. This company is absolutely useless and so is the staff. None of the communication channels like WhatsApp chat even work. When calling the call centre you hold for 45 minutes and no answer. Absolutely pathetic. Parcel was promised to be delivered on a certain date. No communication and no delivery. Parcel was scheduled for next day deliver, same story.
The Vodacom fibre call centre is absolutely pathetic. I have been trying to get my fibre installed for a week now and they keep telling me that they will call me for activation. Everyday I have to call to rectify that it is an installation. I get through to a new consultant that is not helpful and all they say is they will escalate it and get back to me. No one has.
Service was absolutely pathetic. Annelize Meyer has no people skills. Worst experience of my life. They have delayed the registration of my house for 2 weeks now. Everything was in order payment was made on time however they kept coming with stories
Pathetic cancellation service! I have been trying to cancel my contract but the service is horrendous. No one answers the phone and no one is willing to help in store either. The service is absolutely terrible. I paid my customs duty tax about 2 weeks back. A week ago I received and sms saying my order will be delivered today. I have still not received my order but when tracking the order it shows it has been delivered. I have tried to contact the call centre for 3 days with no luck. The calls keep dropping and when I eventually do get through to someone it cuts off a few minutes into the call. I’ve also sent an email to the company support mailbox and have not received w response. I am convinced that my order has been stolen by someone because I am getting the run around
I have been trying to cancel my contract with cell c since May. I called the call centre in March to cancel and they advised that I have to serve a 30 day notice period so the last payment will be in June. Cell c debited mine in June and I called twice to confirm that it had been cancelled. The agent I got through to told me that there is no record of a cancellation and I would have to serve another 30 day notice. They then debited me July aswell. When I called today I got the same story. It is really unacceptable that clear instructions cannot be followed by staff of such a big company. I do not want to do business with cell c. Call center agents are eager to call to make sales but cannot follow a clear instruction of a customer. It is really pathetic service and to top it off I keep having to check in with them to ensure that they do their jobs!
My husband purchased my wedding ring (diamond ring) at Orient Jewellers in the Plaza in February this year. Two weeks ago the diamond fell out. When I took the ring back to the store the owner, Yusuf, said that I have to pay for him to fix the ring. When I did not agree to this as I do not think it is far since it is a fault of the Jewellers, he started being rude, screaming at me in the store saying that I should not tell him about his business and he doesn’t care if I am a customer. He also said that there is no guarantee on diamonds, when telling him that this was not stipulated in any documents he said ‘it doesn’t have to be’. I have had a terrible experience with this Jewellers and do NOT recommend anyone shop there. They do not have any customer etiquette and are only nice when they can take your money, they are so greedy for money that they want to charge me to fix the ring that they had manufactured poorly. I have NEVER had a diamond fall out of any original diamond ring that I had bought from other stores. One cannot spend thousands of Rands on a ring and have no guarantee. Their quality of work is clearly very poor for the prices that they charge. The owner is rude, arrogant and has NO customer service ethics. Absolutely pathetic service experienced with this store.
I purchased a fridge online under a Black Friday special. On the last day the fridge was supposed to be delivered I contacted Game for an update. Only then did they advise that they are out of stock and that I should go with a refund. After numerous calls to the call center and being passed from pillar to post, not a single consultant nor manager made a proper effort to assist me. The manager in the Cape Town branch (Dane) promised to get back to me with an update, 2 days later and I have still not heard from him. Every time I called he was too busy to take my call but promised to get back to me or left the office without providing me with an update. This has been the worst service I have experienced. Game employees are totally unprofessional and Game itself is unreliable. It is safe to say that they have lost me as a customer.
