If there was a rating of zero, I would give it. I changed from MTN to Telkom in September and it is honestly one of the biggest mistakes I've made. I have been getting sms' saying I am in breach of contract and I have outstanding debt when all my payments have been made. There was a payment that bounced in December due to Telkom not notifying me that it would be taken early but this payment was settled on the 31 December 2024. Telkom then debited me again for the amount plus a failed collection fee. I spoke with a lady at the Telkom store and she lodged a dispute with Telkom for the failed debit order as it was taken way too early. With the payment on 31 December 2024 and the payment taken again in the first week of Jan, if anything, Telkom owes me money. I get an SMS saying I owe Telkom R3600 or so. It is absolutely ridiculous. Having a judgment on my name will affect my career as I work in financial services. I have never delt with such an unprofessional and poorly administrated business before and this is supposed to be such a well established company. I actually want to cancel all the business I have with Telkom due to this terrible service. And Goodluck trying to get through when you dial. You will either get sent in circles with the prompts and options or the system will be done.
I resigned from my previous job and an emigrating. I elected to have the maximum of my retirement fund paid out to me and the rest left in the fund as this money was to be used to pay for my relocation costs. We are in the middle of December and no money has been paid into my account as yet. I have no had to pay for my relocation costs on credit and incur interest while Discovery rectifies their issues. I have followed up on numerous times, including the first week of December. Discovery's reply makes it seem like they have not even started the process as they are asking for me to fill out forms for the transfer of the remaining funds into a new provident fund. This is extremely frustrating as I have told Discovery 3 times now (once on the phone and twice on email to leave the remaining balance in the existing fund. Discovery is all supposedly all about the customer. I bank with them, I have my medical aid with them and even have a life policy with them. If this is the service I am receiving after being a loyal customer for several years then I might as well take my business elsewhere.
Please me weary of this restaurant if you are eating vegetarian. They have veg options on the menu but my guess is that they aren't chosen very often. My wife got seriously ill after having a mushroom burger. The health department needs to investigate restaurants that sell options like this. As it seems they keep them for extended periods of time and the ingredients are probably expired. We will never eat there again. The expectation when ordering something on the menu is it will be safe for consumption. Please fix your quality control processes.
I made a deposit via EFT. It has not reflected. I then contacted them via the in-app chat. This took about half an hour. Eventually they contacted me. I spoke to Zanele. I explained what is going on. Zanele proceeds to tell me the money is in my Betway account. I refresh numerous times but nothing is there. I tell Zanele that there is no money. They say they can see it in there and I must check online. I logged off and back on, still no money now guess what, I'm in the queue again to speak to an agent. Please assist with this and please improve your service.
Please please please DO NOT invest. This is a ****. You will be requested to invest and it will be something you could possibly afford. R5000 was my number. Then you will be bombarded with calls and messages asking you to deposit more so that you can access further capabilities of their AI platform etc. They are very pushy about investing more. I got to a point where I stopped taking their calls and messages because I was very busy at work. All of a sudden, my investment grew from R25000 or so to R100000. So I contacted them to withdraw. Now I need to buy 1 etherium on another platform (probably also theirs) to withdraw my money. So essentially I can't get any money out until I deposit more. This is a ****! Max Loginoff Sebastian Lack These are the 2 people I have been in contact with. They even ask you to take loans to make the investments. Please don't invest. These people need to be reported.
I wish I didn't choose AA Warranties for my external warranty. PLEASE DO NOT GET THIS WARRANTY! IT IS A ****. I bought my car used from a dealership and they offered the AA Warranty as a Value Added Product (VAPs). My vehicle had reasonably low mileage and had been fully serviced by VW up until I bought it. So I thought I would do well to get a warranty. In February this year (2023), my car had mechanical problems and I had it towed to my RMI approved mechanic. He lodged a claim with my warranty. The reason for the issue was Oil pump failure. AA Warranties sent their assessor who agreed with this diagnosis. However, AA Warranties DECLINED my claim stating that my oil pump failure is WEAR AND TEAR. I challenge anyone to call VW and ask them what the maintenance schedule for the oil pump on a Golf 7 GTI is. I heard a weird noise and immediately pulled my car over and had it towed. They state that this is wear and tear and they only cover mechanical breakdown. Basically, I should have driven the car until it was completely destroyed. The ironic thing is the warranty policy actually states that the policy holder should do everything in their power to prevent further damage which I did by towing the car. I need my car for work. We are now in May and my car was booked in February. I need the vehicle to get to and from work. AA Warranties has refused to pay and I now had to go to the STI Ombudsman. Who knows when this will be resolved. If you want a warranty with peace of mind. Please don't get this warranty.
Can I give 0 stars? If you're an existing customer, you need to communicate with the insurer through the app. It's brilliant that the app has been so glitchy and unresponsive for the last few days... I can't get quotes for adding another vehicle. Unfortunately Naked will lose my new car as well as my existing vehicle. The whole thing about Naked was supposed to be convenience... doesn't seem to be the case at the moment.
I do not, for the life of me, understand how Agoda and Bookings.com have can have accomodation such as Wex Apartments in Cape Town on their site... We made the mistake of booking there (as we trusted the Agoda site) without reading the reviews. We then wanted to check if they had a hairdryer and stumbled across the reviews. ****roaches in the rooms, unfriendly staff, disgusting beds, rooms even not looking the same as per the pictures on Agoda. Seeing ad we booked literally 3 days before we could travel, we contacted the hotel to ask for a refund as we won't be staying there. Most places have a refund policy of 48 hours or so. The gentleman informed us that refunds are only granted 30 days before travel. Wex Apartments was R1000 a night! A discounted rate mind you. For that trash?? How can Agoda continue to promote this accomodation, given the reviews. We refuse to stay in a ****roach infested hotel so we are unfortunately down R4000 thanks to Agoda. We will never use Agoda again.
I've been with MTN for almost 15 years. I am due for an upgrade and decide to call in to let the telecom know that I want to move to prepaid. (Calling and pressing the option for cancellation led to my call being dropped several times. I eventually called and selected upgrade and once my call was answered, I told them to transfer be to cancellations. My Colleague sitting in the office next to me was also moving to prepaid and the exact thing happened to him while sitting next to me). Already, it was off to a bad start. Once I was transferred to retentions, I spoke to Themba who let me know that their system was down and he could not proceed with the cancellation. He advised I call back on Monday (today). During the weekend, my phone stopped working. When I attempt to call I get "Not registered on network" as a pop-up. I explicitly told Themba I wished to move to prepaid and he said I will need to serve a 1 month notice but now I can't even make or receive calls. I use my phone for work. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!
This is the 3rd time this year I have ordered something from McDonald's Menlyn and received the wrong thing. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool my twice, shame on me. But this time, the employee actually asked me to check so I did. Everything seemed fine so I went home. Get home to find my my grand chicken spicy burger doesn't even have a bottom bun... This isn't something you look for when you check your order. Well I don't at least. Please fix the service at this branch...
