Wish there were 0 Stars Don’t buy Jewellery from Truworths! Wife bought a Silver Gold plated ring from their “fine jewellery” department and the plating came off and a stone came out after a few hours of use. Bought the ring yesterday and tried to return it this morning. Now Eastgate isn’t following the CPA for a refund! Truworths never follows the CPA and I’m sick and tired of it! They will never exchange items that have factory damage, even though the CPA explicitly names it. The managers there are rude and accusatory. There’s no managers discretion and a regional manager is never available on a weekend! She refused to take the calls from the staff. They are *******ly trading by ignoring the CPA. This is the second time I’ve had issues with them. There is zero customer service! They even made my wife burst into tears as they sold her a defective factory fault ring and ****** R500 from us! Stay very far away!
Their online store is a joke and takes forever. Don’t even bother wasting your time
New Owners - Misdiagnosis Stay very very very far away! It’s not the vet it used to be! Took my cat in to see the vet as he had an infection of sorts. Saw a male vet, who we believe is Dr. Simba and he laughed it off and told my son the cat is on heat and x-rays are a waste of money - the cat is a Sterilised Male. He was Sterilised by the same vet! How can a male cat go onto heat and why don’t the vets know what they are talking about or what’s on file? He was brought back a day later as he was not getting better. A female vet saw our cat and said he had a blockage in his bowels. After two days of barely getting any feedback we were told to come fetch the cat and that he got up to eat. When we picked him up he was paralysed! No cat should go home in the condition mine was sent in! We had to rush him to an emergency vet where they identified the problem immediately but we were too late to save him. Basically, this vet cost us time and is responsible for the death of our cat! They also don’t believe blood tox can be done on a cat! That’s ludicrous! These vets have ruined the reputation of Dr. Israelite and Aitken. They would have known what to do. Now I have bills coming out of my ears for their malpractice! I have a WhatsApp message on my phone basically saying they want more money before they would have done anything! I never ONCE prior to him coming home said I won’t pay! They also ignored to send the history to the new vet that requested the info TWICE. That is an admission of guilt, and I also have a WhatsApp message as an admission of guilt! I am taking it up with the SA Vet Council and not paying these money grabbers another cent! This is animal abuse! Stay very very very far away! It’s not the vet it used to be!
Took my cat to the Vet yesterday as he wasn’t eating. The Doctors there took a sc**** and said he had a fever. They said they will administer antibiotics and something for the fever although I didn’t see them do it myself. They still said he may have to stay overnight of which I refused ( they seem to like to milk you for Got ********** for R1200 yesterday for nothing ! Update two days later - cat is extremely sick! Took him to Sandringham vet and after x rays and bloods, it turns out he is anaemic and had a bowel obstruction! Ivy Road vet had him the whole day and couldn’t figure this out??? Just an injection and send him home after a few hours! My cat could have died! Stay very very very very very far away from this vet!

Worst customer service! You order online and call the customer care number, and then the person answers the phone saying they are from Marshall music. The website first says it’s one on hand, suddenly there is no stock. Waited a week until I found out the stock had indeed arrived, but no Marshall store is affiliated with another store! The contact from One Stop Music is rude and arrogant! Most disgusting service I have EVER received in my life! I spend a ton of money with Marshall and this is the LAST time! Don’t deal with Dewalt or any of them! Save yourself the trouble!
Ordered from their Pretoria branch online, called “One Stop Music” Item was a one on hand. After paying and placing the order I get told two days later that the item is in fact, out of stock, and they have to get stock from their wood mead branch. On checking the Marshal music online store, the pedal says it’s in stock - yet when you WhatsApp them they say it’s not in stock… Why do they take your money with false advertising??? It’s been a week now and I still don’t have what I ordered. To be honest, the staff there don’t care too much either! Rather shop elsewhere!
Bought a puffer jacket online for my wife. Arrived with factory defect of stitching coming loose on the sleeve. Returned it via courier wanting an exchange. This was done on Tuesday and I still don’t have the replacement! No one answers emails! This is the worst customer service and longest return time I have ever experienced- especially because they sent a defective item!
Shirts aren’t authentic. Site keeps getting taken down for copyright infringements. Also, you don’t get the size you ordered. Emails - no answer. Phone is off. I checked previous shirts I’ve bought from them and it looks like they send whatever size they have in stock. They’ve just lost a customer!
My order was delivered yesterday and was missing an item. I queried it immediately and now I’m told my query is “under investigation “ this is BS! Send what I paid for and then investigate afterwards! This is theft! The agents have no idea about customer service and the packers are ***********!!! I am furious and fuming!!! No wonder the pass mark in this country is 30 %! Order - 178 157 168 Twitter agents just copy and paste replies!
