They sorted out my accounts very nicely except for 2 accounts the still debited despite having the debit orders stopped well before the debit order date. I am now struggling to get my money refunded, and i'm not talking about R200-R300, R6500 was debited! They managed to get about half of my refund for me, but I am still missing R3000. When you are on the phone with them they are the nicest people on earth and very understanding but I've been sending email after email and have been met with nothing but silence. Out of what must have been 12 emails regarding my refund I've received 1 phone call and 1 response to my emails. One of the responses came from someone completely different only because I emailed one of their generic mailboxes. The email basically said that it would take around 7-21 business days to get the funds refunded. It is now past 21 business days and as mentioned, only half of my refund was received. The point of going into debt review was to get out of debt, now i find myself having to make more debt simply to cover the hole that was made from the debits that went off that should never have gone off. I'm not sure who did or didn't do their job properly but I just want this sorted out, hopefully this post doesn't fall of deaf ears the way my emails did. I would have appreciated a simple "We are still dealing with this and will get back to you" but they opted to simply ignore all of my emails.
I won a 12month subscription to Amazon Prime with the Vodacom app, it was working amazingly for about 2 months and then one day I received a pop up that i have some subscriptions that would be charging me R10 rand a day and it gave me an option to cancel the subscriptions, the next thing I know, my Amazon subscription is cancelled as well and i've been struggling to find a way to get it back. Is there someone that can assist with this?
They send out an SMS claiming to provide a code for Sunbet, when you follow the link it takes you to a **** sunbet link which forces you to sign up and had no sign in option, why should i sign up again if i have a Sunbet account? My theory is that they want you to sign up so that they can gather all of that information and sell your data. Also the code that is in the sms DOES NOT work in the REAL sunbet portal.
I put in a claim about a month ago for the 2 pot system, I haven't received as much as a peep from anyone with regards to my claim, I keep getting pointed to the Whatsapp line which just tells me that i have already submitted a claim. I've sent a number of emails off and have never heard back from anyone, i've even tried calling their call center but the IVR is enough to make you go insane, playing music and then being interrupted by the voice recording every 8 to 9 seconds telling you that the line is busy, and when you do get through to someone after 35mins of waiting on the call, they end up dropping your call. The next time i endured a further 35mins of torture and got through to someone who was going to get another person to contact me and yet, here i am, having to resort to this site for a bit of attention from Momentum. I really do hope someone takes note of this complaint.
For the most part their site works fantastic, pay outs are always on fast but their customer service isn't the greatest. There is a huge lack of communication between the provider and the customer, I've been back and forth to the customer service team regarding a deposit i made that hasn't reflected and have not once heard back from anyone, I've even gone as far as sending them a mail but with no response. When you start a chat with an agent you are expected to wait sometimes an hour and are expected to watch the chat for the entire hour and if you don't reply to them within, what seems to be 30 seconds, they end up terminating the chat. At one point i had to join a chat over a span of 3 days, at different times of the day, for well over an hour with each attempt, to try and get hold of someone to speak to. My current issue with the deposit has still not been resolved although I have sent through my proof of payment and all relevant details, I can't also be sure that the issue was actually logged to the support team as i was not given any reference number. Hollywoodbet, is a great service provider and their games are excellent but they should re-work their customer service.
I have medical aid and the hospital transported my daughter to a state hospital, we were told that an ambulance would be R1100, I told them I had medical aid and my medical aid has ambulance services, they contacted the medical aid and then proceeded to transfer my daughter. I then end up receiving an ambulance bill not for R1100 but for R2,626.63. I contact the medical aid and they advised that the Hospital never submitted a claim. How did this become my problem?
I've placed my order for fibre and the service has been nothing but utter %$*&. I've already paid for my first month but i still dont have any fibre installed, one the 21st a technician came to do the installation but there was no conduit leading from the split point to my house, the technician then booked it and said that there was conduit but the conduit was blocked somehow. I was then told that a technician would be here within 72 hours to come and lay the conduit in order for them to run the fibre, the next day a technician came to clear the blockage in the non-existing conduit, i was then told it would be another 72 hours before someone could come out to lay the conduit, after 3 day I contacted the poor excuse of a help desk and they weren't able to help apart from saying they would have this looked into. The worst part of all is the sad excuse of a service desk who never replies and when you do get a reply its just to say that the chat has been disconnected because they haven't heard from you in a while.
I don't ever remember registering or applying through this company but they have made 13 called despite me saying no and to them. I've also asked them to delete my number but the calls keep coming. This morning at 7 i received yet another call. The one person just dropped the call when i told him that i requested them not to call me. I keep blocking their calls and they keep calling from a different number.
they managed to debit my account for a loan which was paid up 2 months prior, they then debited my account for the loan i finished and sms'd me telling me that I needed to email them the documents so they can reverse the payment, its been 2 weeks and 3 emails later there is no response from anyone, not even a hi we received your mail. I went into the store to find out if they could help as the sms said i could go in store, but i was quickly turned to the email address that was sent to me. They've got care in the world when they own you money but will put you in jail if you owed them a R10
