I'm embarrassed to be a CIMA member. Member support does not exist at CIMA. You'd think the hardest part is actually qualifying, but that's actually the easy part. When you call you get no assistance, they don't reply to emails and the office in Melrose arch is basically a shell of an office because no one there can ever assist with anything, that's if you even find staff there! This global institution is managed like government services and yet we pay thousands of rands to be a part of it. Its disappointing.
I'm a 1st for women client and I have never had to claim. The one time a 3rd party crashes into me, 1st for women tells me that I'm on my own and it is up to me to claim recoveries from the 3rd party's insurance. At this point I'm asking myself what is the point of having insurance with them. The service consultant that I spoke to, Obakeng (if that is her real name) was so rude and condescending! She made me feel like I was stupid for even calling them. It seems when you need 1st for women, they turn their backs on you.
I purchased bar stools and had to exchange them for a different colour. The process was seamless and customer services was helpful.
I reside in Balwin Properties Greenpark Lifestyle Estate, that is managed by Landsdowne Properties. I have been in a back and forth argument with the estate since November 2022 regarding the crack of my car windscreen. The events are summarized below: 1. November 18th I noticed a big crack on my windscreen, I contacted the estate manager, Wendy, to try retrieve footage on what had happened. She quickly told how the estate was not responsible. Our cars are covered by solar panels, and during this time when my car was damaged, the estate had removed the covering around my parking bays, without any warning or communication ( I have images to prove this). 2. On Nov 18th, Wendy told me it was a golf ball that hit my car, then on Dec 8th she told me that the damage did not happen at Greenpark at all, even though I know for sure it did (I have the chats to prove the inconsistency in her story) 3. During the month of December I escalated the incident to her boss Russell, who kept telling me he’ll make sure Wendy attends to the matter. This did not happen, and all the while I still have not been shown any footage. My grievance is that the estate keeps telling me to claim from my insurance and yet I still do not know what happened, meaning I will keep incurring excess costs and increased insurance premiums over an unknown event. Had this incident happened under normal circumstances, I’d feel less upset, however I feel I was sabotaged because when they removed my parking cover, my car was damaged. I also have proof that the solar panels have been protecting our cars from the golf *****, therefore it is clear my car was left exposed. I also feel that the estate is being extremely suspicious about the footage. I believe they are hiding something from me as to date ( Jan 11th 2023) I have not seen any footage around the event in question. We pay high levies for us to get such bad service from the estate management. I had only been living there for 4 months when this happened, and I strongly regret the investment in their property.

Happy with the service. I love my coffee table and I am impressed with the prompt delivery.
I spoke to Khotso from Miway. He was helpful in changing my residential information with ease
I've been with Miway for a full year now and they just decided to increase my premium by 15% without notifying me. I work from home and hardly use my car, and I've never claimed since inception.
Service has deteriorated a lot over the years. I've been using ADT for the past 14 years and at this point I cannot call them armed response. 1) Sometimes they just don't pitch 2) There was an incident where the first responder didn't even come into our garden, stating the wall is too high, this wall is literally a meter high and they've been able to get over it all these years except that day. I reported it to the supervisor, he said he'd get back to me after investigating, and he didn't. 3) Today's incident, the responder said he didn't come in the yard because he "thought there was a dog". There is no dog here. 4) I have to call in their technician (at a R500) about 5 times a year because their equipment is always faulty What frustrates me more is that each time they report back to switchboard saying everything is okay and yet they didn't even check! I'm currently looking for another private security company.
