PayJoy SA - Hidden Costs, Misleading Sale, Refused Cancellation I bought a phone through PayJoy at TotalSport 2 days ago. At no point was I told this was a rented phone or that I would pay more than double the cash price. Cash price of the phone: R8,000 PayJoy total I’m now locked into: R17,700 Upfront paid already: R1,040 after being told to pay R1,859 within 7 days I returned the phone today to TotalSport. No scratches, no damage, unused. The store manager was helpful, but PayJoy refused to cancel. Before going to the store, I called PayJoy customer service. They said I must give 30 days notice AND still pay. I told them I never signed any form and no one told me this was a rental agreement. I was kept waiting over 2 hours for a call back that never came. They make the process impossible so you give up. When you return the phone, you don’t get your money back. So I lose R1,040 for a phone I had for 2 days. This is misleading. The total cost is hidden. No proper disclosure was done in store. I want this contract cancelled immediately and my R1,040 refunded. PayJoy is taking advantage of people. Never buy anything from PayJoy - they double the amount and hide the information.
I'm very disappointed about the service of standard bank they took my money from my account R325 and promised to refund me R200 that says hounring fees I then asked then why u was charged such amount they claimed that I I didn't have enough funds when the payment was being banked by the franchise that I purchased petrol on 31 of much money was taken out from my account I was charged this amount on 4th of April I made a call I was told they will refund me before 10/04/26 up until today I haven't received the funds I decided to make a call today only to be told that there's email that was sent to consultant that I won't receive my money. Also requested funeral policy documents they promised to revert to me within 2 to 3 days up to now I haven't received those documents
I have been stranded on the road for more than 23 hours with my 6 years daughter and pregnant wife I was driving from Kranskop Kzn to Jhb when my car suddenly stopped and tried to call for help I got through to the lady by Name of Mbali .she said I'm covered for a long distance towing i will be liable for payment of a tailgates .I was advised to wait for a quote and after 30 minutes that I will have to pay R13050 to tow my car to johannesburg and I was only covered for 200km turn around I also price dropped to R8000 .I still rejected and I mentioned that I have benefits for accommodation. And car hire they said cars are not available also they consultants are very rude I was told car hire will be available in the morning I I waited whole night until 05:30 tow track arrived. I asked if they can tow my car to Melmoth they did and said it 100% covered .I then requested to get a car hire i was told my benefits for car hire was used for extra km for towing my car to melmoth o that was 100k away from where I was and drive was coming from shower sam area which was 79m away but I was told I use 266km which is not the. No one asked if I was okay at night did I need security guards not at all but their consultants kept on hanging up calm on me without a reason .this is a disgrace I have been a loyal client for more than 10 years I didn't deserve this kind of treatment I have recommended lot of my friends and family to join AA I think we need to cancel my membership this is just useless like someone who doesn't have membership with my you .
I'm very disappointed by the attitude of a lady I believe she's a manager by name of Nevly . I wanted to buy using my points and cash but i didn't have actual card with me I went to a first till the one you pay when you're using a basket I was told my phone won't work because they need to scan my phone. All my stuff was voided I then went to the express tills I explained to the lady by the name of Nevly she said I won't be able to pay using points I then said I will leave 2 items that was voided before I came to her she then asked be to take those items back to the store as a back shopping I then said to her I won't be able to do that I need to pay and go.She then left me and said I will not be able to pay there because I have a lot of items I asked her because this I solved express till how many items are allowed to pay there she said 5 items I told her that because I have 5 items why she making a big deal and give me attitude she said I have my personal issues I must not come to the shop with my personal issues . One of the male managers was there and asked what was going on I explained everything to him and he instructed Nevly to help me she continued to help me but she kept on talking she very rude and not suitable for her position this is a shop where I do my everyday Shopping.

I'm very disappointed with your Authorised repair shop in Killarney Johannesburg i took my phone for repair i was told it will be ready in an hour i was shocked but happy at the same time. I went back after 1hr 30 minutes my phone was still not ready i was told to wait 5 minutes i did and the guy call me i went to get my phone it hada marks of glue and i saw open space on the side it have small elastics around it i was told to keep them for 1 hour i told the guy who's the owner of the store i wasn't happ6 about the opening of the side as i have before taken my phone to Huawei repair shop in merlin Pretoria they did wonderful job. He said my phone is not straight i paid R850 now after 3 hours the screen is lift up i can see light under the screen i need my money back please do something about this shop
As a regular customer for Pick n Pay Killarney Mall im very disappointed about attitude i got from their Kitchen staff who gave ne the name of Amahle I'm not sure if it's her really bame as she didn't have name tag. I bought ready made chicken stew as normal i was in front of the queue waited for her to attend me she was speaking to a pick n pay security guy while she was holding chips frying pan. She was standing holding that thing not doing anything while we waited on the queue. She came yawning as if she was dizzy i greeted her so warmly and asked if she wasn't feeling okay. Her response was very rude and considering time i waited patiently thinking she might be sick. She said are you coming to by or you will be busy asking me questions i said i thought you not okay i was waiting him waiting for you to finish what ever you were doing but you're very rude she threw the fock on the table i asked her her name she said it Amahle amd ask who's the manager she didn't reply. I went in front and Gentlemen by the name of Emanuel he promised to attend to this matter but i was hoping if he can speak to her while i was there because I'm not sure if he will do it i aslo wanted her to know i was just being nice to her felling sorry for her but her attitude she doesn't deserve to be serving person also i have been q customer for many years it was my first time to see her
I will like to share my experience with Rubber Sealant products from Edenvale we have a huge building that was in bad condition because of poor water proofing after getting so many quotations from different companies that were so expensive. i searched water proofing products until i found Rubber sealant with videos posted i was happy very impressed i went to purchase my 3 buckets of rubber sealant and 3 bonding liquid it worked wonders all our leaking problems was solved i have been buying from them since 2022 thank you somuch for your wonderful service and product specials thanks to Johan
****med by fnb every month there's money being deducted from my account there's some unknown activity done fnb from my account there's byc debit orders that collect my money from my main account according to their service this is the money that should be deposited to my savings account but that doesn't happen this month fnb took R715 from my account with reference #service fee i asked them they promised to get back to me i. Haven't received single call from them that's excluding their monthly service that I'm still paying for i need money back i think this is the chance that i must leave this ungrateful bank
I would like to share my bad experience with Rosebank McDonald on Oxford road. I went to purchase regular big mac as I'm their regular customer i always receive great service buying from driver thru. But last night i was very disappointed about the pathetic service i received from Vuyiswa Donfula. I went to drive thru order point i asked my partner what would she like to order as I thought she might have changed her mind she said big mac regular i was greeted with rude voice from Vuyiswa. I said i would like to order big mac regular. She then said drink? I then ask my wife again which drink before she even rep**** Vuyiswa said drink drink drink more than twice with angry voice i said I'm sorry i was still confirming please may i have creme soda but don't shout at me. Then she said or i will get someone who will help you then i went to pay point hoping to finish my order from there i saw her and asked if she was the lady i was speaking to she said yes i then asked her name she **** and said her name it's Thembeka i didn't see her name tag as she was facing opposite direction. I then asked to call the manager for me she threw down speed point machine and head phones. You can even view camera from 21:57 to 22:05 when she came back i said can i proceed to collection window where she said i will meet the manager she then asked me to pay i did and went to collection window i waited for the manager she took few minutes because she was busy with something else. Her name is Cabangile Zulu she's very good at her job and asked me what's wrong i told her everything and i asked the name of the lady that sai6 hee name it's Thembeka she told me thats a lie her real name it's Vuyiswa manager said she doesn't understand why she **** about her name and also why shw said will get someone else to help us to order. Please try to talk to Vuyiswa or take her to training for how she's suppose to treat customers i understand some customers are rude but I'm very opposite to thst i have 3 witness she so rude and not patience
