I have used Cool Ideas for a few years now and have always been happy. But, I find with them, you only happy when you do not need anything from them. I am moving homes and at the end of May, I app**** for a new fibre line on the new house and have notice on my current line. The estate that I am moving to only has access to OpenServ; everyone in the estate has OpenServ. Regardless, Cool Ideas and Openserv could not find the estate on their system and had to "Manually Load It" Last week OpenServ called me for an appointment to come install the equipment in the new house and needless to day, the did not pitch as the incorrect address is reflecting on the order. So my trip from Johannesburg to Pretoria where the new install is was for nothing. Now, no one can tell me when it will be installed, if it will ever be installed... Nothing. They cant even send smoke signals. Cool Ideas and OpenServ, get your act together please! We want to pay you real money for a service but you don't seem to want it.

Makro has to be the worst online shopping experience in the history of online shopping. A few years ago, an order went spectacularly wrong. Now, 3 years later, they only delivered 1 out of 4 items that were part of an urgent order. Stay away!
I ordered parts on order RXYJQLAEO last week Tuesday. What stood out for me was that it said that dispatch would be within 1 business day. On Friday, I phoned in to follow up and was told I would be called back after an internal follow-up. Needless to say, I was not called back. Now a week later, the parts that I urgently need is not here and Car Parts Online is ghosting me.
I do not know how FNB trusts Digital Planet with their deliveries. They are a complete failure in what they do. There is no point in even contacting their service team after a failed delivery due to no fault of my own. I made arrangements to be available for the delivery for a whole day for nothing. I raised concerns about this delivery since 8am this morning, and only at 3pm did I get a call to say "Sorry for you". There is no accountability, just a rude woman who claims to be a manager. I hope FNB can wake up and change suppliers soon!
I requested a cancellation of SuperSonic fibre due to very bad service levels. I received notice on 1 Aug and was not told about any clawback. Today I got an email saying that there is a clawback, but it does not say how much it is. When you call in, no one knows what is going on or what the clawback will be. They are releasing my line today and will let me know sometime what the clawback amount is. What if it is an unaffordable amount and then I don't want to cancel? Legally I need to know this information before I cancel not after the fact? But is ridiculous service like this that is the reason I am moving ISP's in the 1st place! Half of the staff at Super Sonic do not know what ISP stands for.
Yet AGAIN a fibre outage. And yet again no support from Frogfoot. Supersonic is beyond useless to report the matter and Frogfoot simple does not care.
Not Recommended at all! I placed an order for slippers over 5 weeks ago. They did work there would be a 4 to 5 week delay. 5 weeks have come and gone, and the order has not arrived. They do not answer the phones, they do not respond to online enquiries. It feels as if I have been ******. I think the next step is the Ombudsman to try to get my money back.
I placed an order with Takealot on 1 March 2023. For a Samsung 65" AU7000 UHD Crystal Processor 4K Smart TV. I tracked delivery on 2 March 2023 and noticed that the delivery date had been changed to 14 March 2023. 2 weeks after their promised delivery date. I called Takealot, and after being cut off three times, they told me they didn’t have stock. I feel this is false advertising, as the website stated they had stock. There was never a phone call to explain the delay or to give an apology. When you call in, they can't wait to get you off the line. Takealot should really be shut down as this is not the first time things like this have happened.
For the past 4 weeks, our Fibre randomly drops during load shedding. This never happened before. But over the past 4 weeks, it is more down than up. I have opened various tickets and dealt with various representatives of Frogfoot but nothing is improving. They even close the ticket when there is no clear resolution. It is a solid blame game with them. Nothing is their fault. We are sadly on a contract with Frogfoot in our complex. No other Fiber providers may enter our complex. Yet, they cant provide us with a service. So we stuck with this bad service and no one cares. I cant even get this escalated to upper management.
