I bought the following: 3 x triple chocolate cookies for R86.97 2 x 6 hot cross buns - R45.99 for a bag 1 x 6-pack sugar doughnuts - R50 1 x 5 mini Danish selection - R39.95 My total bill was R387.45, but this included 2 pies and some English ****ins. I was so disappointed with your quality. I am sitting with a full pack of hot cross buns as well as 4 sugar doughnuts. Nobody wants to eat it. I purchased it at Centurion Woolworths on 19 February 2026 at 13:01. The cookies were so overcooked and hard, they had no taste. I was so dry. The hot cross buns have no taste. The ones that I bought at Food *****s taste better than the ones that I bought at Woolworths. The Danish was so dry and also had no taste. The doughnuts turned sour within one day. Why would you sell this kind of quality to your clients? When I buy food at Woolworths, I expect better quality. If your products are old or overcooked, do not sell them. Why would you sell something that you know is not going to last for one day? Honestly, I do nothing that I will waste my time on Woollies anymore. Your products are crazy expensive, and your quality is extremely poor.
I have been trying for hours to try and cancel my contract. I have had people put the phone to my ear, or they just do not answer. When you tell them I lost my monthly income, they tell you to pay the arrears, which I am trying to reduce; they are going around in circles. If I want to cancel, I have to pay in R8k, that is, after paying R2k. Vodacom is crazy, and they just keep on *****ing because if you tell them I can't pay anymore, they just keep on adding expenses. What I don't understand is why, if you are informed that a person needs to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, you just keep on adding costs. It is sickening how greedy corporations are.
This company is a joke. They moved the appointment so many times and when they actually did confirm to inspect the property at 7 in the morning for 09h30, they just never showed up. When I tried calling to find out where the person is, I was asked for a code that I was not given, as I did not want to pay them the upfront fee that they wanted. They refused to transfer me to the poeple that I spoke to so this company is lying about the "free service" and they refuse to assist if you do not pay upfont for their "package" that they are trying to sell you. From the other reviews, even after you do purchase the package, their service is still very poor. Stay away from My Roof, they are a ****.
Stay away from this company. They ***** your money as they hold the websites ransom. We bought a company and had to transfer it into a new account. That is all that they had to do. WE are sitting close to R10k that we have had to pay and we still have no domain that was transferred. We have lost sales for more than a week. They want to charge us R7k for 4 email addresses. You can host a website plus domain for R99 at xneelo. They are ******* and unless you pay, your are getting nowhere with this *********** company.
I bought an AEG gas/electrical stove and a Whirlpool washing machine from Hirsh in Nov 2022. The consultant convinced me to take a more expensive washing machine as it had a special that you would get an Electrolux wet and dry vacuum cleaner as part of the deal. I was told that the value of the vacuum cleaner was R3700. The vacuum cleaner stopped working. As it was still in the two-year time frame, I was told that I could bring the unit back and that they would replace it. I just received a call to say that they will give me a credit of R700. I told them that it was not acceptable and that they needed to replace the unit. As the item was discontinued, that was not an option. I was just contacted again saying that they can replace the unit with a battery-operated, handheld vacuum cleaner that is not wet and dry and should I not accept the replacement, they will give me a credit of R700. What I find disturbing is the way that they manipulated me into buying a more expensive item by a couple of thousand rands with the idea that I would be receiving a vacuum cleaner to the value of R3700. It was a redundant stock that had a bad track record. What I find extremely disappointing is the dishonesty that Hirsh uses to manipulate their customers into buying more expensive items. I don't think that I will be returning to Hirsh anytime soon. I do not like to be manipulated or **** to.......... I should have read the reviews as it seems that warranties are always a problem and then all the replies state that this is an open platform and one should contact them. The reason for the open platform is that people know who they are dealing with before purchase. My problem is that I was not given a choice as it was an insurance claim even though I paid more than R20k extra to get the items that I wanted.
I am extremely upset. I bought items from Hirsch and was given the wet and dry vacuum cleaner valued at R3700 according to the invoice. It did not even last for 18 months. I brought it back to Hirsch and they explained that the item has been discontinued. I then requested that they replace like with like or that I be credited with the invoice amount so that I can replace the item. I was informed by Hirsch that Electrolux is prepared to give me R700 or one of the other models which is a handheld vacuum cleaner that runs on a battery. For me, there is a massive difference between the two items. I do not understand why Electrolux is refusing to honour the warranty on their products. Nobody explained to me that the units are being discontinued. Had I known this, I would not have bought the more expensive washing machine. I am extremely disappointed by the cavalier attitude from both Electrolux and Hirsch regarding the two options I am being given, R700 or a battery-operated handheld vacuum cleaner. Both companies are not trustworthy and dishonest in their approach. When I asked for my vacuum cleaner back to see if I could take it somewhere else where it could be repaired, I was sent a photo of the unit broken into pieces. Stay away from both companies. Update, I put in a call back as nobody is answering the call centre, I phoned at 4, and when I started speaking, they put the phone down in my ear and I was diverted to the after-hours recording. This company is really useless. It used to be a brand that one could rely on but it seems not anymore.
If I could give you zero stars, I would. This is an absolute disgrace of a company. No wonder they cannot sell the company, nobody wants this useless piece of ^*%$%$@$^#@. WHAT MAKES ME SO ANGRY IS THAT WE HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO DEAL WITH THIS PATHETIC SERVICE PROVIDER DUE TO NO OTHER ISP that is allocated to our area. No wonder they shut down all their contact centres, so that a person cannot get hold of them to talk to them. Do not use Webafrica, they are useless.
If you like the quantity of quality, then this is the place for you. The portions are significant but the food is inferior. I found that the pictures on Facebook are very misleading. The place is run down, and there is nothing for the kids to do. The waiters push you to leave so that they can get new customers in. I took my daughter to the bathroom and when we came back, our food was packed up and the waiter was standing with the card machine to pay the bill. Honestly, I do not think that I would ever go there again.
I bought the special for the diced tomatoes. Something is wrong with the opening mechanism. Three out of the four that I have opened has malfunctioned and broken off. Trying to open the one tin, my hand slipped and I cut myself. A couple of stitches later and I am still waiting for Woolworth's to respond.
I bought two Ariston products from this company. It does not deliver on expectation due to the fact that the product info is not reliable. When trying to get hold of the company that supports the product in SA, you get an answering service. You do not get hold of management. I lodged a complaint and they did send plumber to tell me that my installation is correct, the product is warming up the water. According to them their is no issue. I had to inform them that their documentation states that the water should heat up to 59 degrees. The water coming out of the tap was 38 degrees. According to them, there is no problem. Stay away from these products and do not expect the service provider to sort out any issues. (that is if you can get hold of them). This was the initial review that I wrote. I got the following response from them: Our staff has read your review and values your contribution even though it did not meet all our website guidelines. Thanks for sharing, and we hope to publish next time!" This was my response to them but that got send back as well: What is wrong with my review. This is exactly what has happened. It is companies like you that protect manufacturers that produces poor quality products and continue to sell it without holding them accountable. Do you want the messages that I send to verify what I have stated. This company has cost me thousands of rand as I had to install their products (plumbing and electricity) and then lost tenants because my money was spent on installing their products. I had to change my plumbing and do additional electricity that cost me thousands again. Why don’t phone them and see if you can get hold of them. Stop enabling corrupt businesses.
