I didn't realise that my bank card was lost up until the 22nd of October 2024 when it was used at different garages. After the bank observed suspicious transactions it notified me. I then blocked my card, reported and registered a ***** case at a Police station and Nedbank.I have been struggling to get help as I had even went to the branch and they also failed to get assistance. I registered a complaint with Nedbank.They just notified me that they could get hold of me but since this day I have not received any means of communication and re-imbur*****t of what was with drawn as the bank insures our monies I am not supposed to struggle for months to get back my money.
I am extremely frustrated, I booked a car for 3 days in Cape town through vitality travel. I was charged an amount of R974.25 by Vitality travel using discovery bank card. I went to collect the car at Tempest and my standard bank card was used for deposit. An invoice of R1299 was charged again by Tempest . I made a query and sent both invoices to vitality travel and tempest. Now instead of tempest giving me back my rental money for 3 days and only subtracting R200 of petrol from R1299 that was incorrectly billed I receive R324.This is an inconvenience from both parties with *********** people as this is a simple mathematics.

I am staying at one of the Terra Nova developments called ‘’ The hills Estates” in Trichard which I bought the house in January 2021 and am staying alone, few weeks ago when I woke up one Sunday as I was making the bed I noticed a swelling on the tiles as if there is something under ground that I am not sure what it is as the area where the houses are built is a farming area and am not sure if a proper analysis underground was done. I reported it and after numerous times of following up, one guy was sent and he checked and said they would comeback to fix the affected tiles and never came back. After following up more than 5 times again I was sent an email that stipulates that an investigation was done and the defect fault is not related to them. I am not sure what investigation was done as I don’t understand what is the reason behind the swelling of the under the surface that is affecting the tiles considering the affected area next to the window that I don’t normally use. I opted to buy a brand new house since I was avoiding fixing old house defects, but a brand new one with just 3 years has defects from poor workmanship and design defect as the area was supposed to have been checked underground and addressed. I am only told about the “retention period that has expired” though we both know the reason and now I must be liable for their poor work.
I have been trying to follow up on the vehicle registration papers of the vehicle (059736: 087765)that was paid up a couple of years since beginning of the year with Malebo and Makgabo and I am not getting any response. I have sent the required documentation without any response.
I have traveled from Secunda to Durban from Friday 09/06/2023.The bus was supposed to arrive at 10:30 and it didn't and only got a message that there are delays and I should remain at the venue but no time was indicated, after following up on numerous occasions it arrived after 3hrs.It was supposed to arrive at 8:30pm and ended up arriving around 1am the following and no safety was considered luckily I had people that came to Durban for the weekend who were staying closer to where the bus was dropping me. I ended up sleeping there as I could not take Uber with a stranger at that time and bear in mind I booked the accommodation from Friday and ended up checking in on Saturday and the money that was for Friday became a loss on my side. Since I booked a return on the bus I had no choice of canceling due to the cost I was going to pay. Now the bus was from 07:30 am arriving at 05:30pm and am still left with around 120km and the expected time when checking Google map I will arrive around 10pm another 5hrs delay and another inconvinience as the person who will pick me up has to be on standby the whole night as the arrival time keep on changing every 30 minutes. They should write the correct times so that we can know if it will feasible for one to book because if I had known that I would be traveling for 15hrs I wouldn't have booked with all the inconvenience and costs I had to incur
I had rain month to month contract since February 2021. For two years I was struggling with the connection due to coverage that i overlooked when I took out the package. I then cancelled on the 27th February 2023 as I was just paying and their network was not covering my area. I did not get a correspondence until i sent a follow up email on the 28/02/2023. On the 2nd of March I received a correspondence with the following reference number:6729791 - MSISDN: 27816178179 4G Cancellation and the money was already debited. Again on the 2nd of April another amount was debited. I would like to be refunded as soon as possible since I believe this is ***** and the company advertise as this being a month to month contract and when one cancel they still debit amount
Follow up from an old complain, below : The third week has started and I am not getting any replies when I send emails of SA taxi representative that has been engaging with me hence i am using this i platform again t. I requested for papers for the vehicle that was paid off and provided the reference number, also the R5000 that I have paid which is in advance that need to be reimbursed to us. Can I please be assisted as I want this to be our last engagement with this company
My late dad (ID number 5110025567084, account reference number059736:071723)had a taxi that we were still paying wit SA taxi, it was repossessed but I managed to pay the required amount that was needed to release it. It was released with new financing plan and every month we paid the required amount. The last payment was on the 6/2/2023. Prior to that I received a call requesting that we pay arreas of R8730,which I did not undersrand where they were coming from. I spoke to consultant to try and find out as the arrears reflecting on my statement were -R4 969.87, the lady confirmed that the amount showing was the amount in advance hence it was showing a minus sign. Now that the car was settled last week I have received numerous missed calls and a message threatening that I should settle R8730 within 24 hours. I did raise this to the consultant that they must resolve their errors as we do not expect to get call now that the car is near to being paid off.
I am writing this review with a heavy heart. My late father bought a vehicle (taxi) with Wesbank. It got possessed and a few months after they realized they could not go ahead with a sale without speaking to the owner regarding the refinance option or to sell it. The time I was contacted my dad was heavily sick and passed on. During the funeral arrangement they track our home address in Cape town to try to find a way foward and at the time my sister and I were in Eastern cape to burry my father and my sister whom they died on consecutive days. After coming back we were in contact with them regarding assisting us with as we stated that we want to keep the car, get it to operate again so that it can pay itself until its paid of. We struggled to get the letter of execution until to date but the submission of relevant documentation through a lawyer that is assisting us. It has been a frustrating journey as we don't have access of his estates and we invested a lot with our savings to try and save the business including everything under his estates. I was told that they tried calling me without a success including an email that I never received and with that I can share my emails screenshot and non of those emails contain the email that is claimed to have informed me that they were taking the next step. What I do not understand is that they came to my fathers house which my sister now resides but for this case when they wanted to sell the car, they went ahead without our consent knowing very well that the car would be sold to next to nothing and then we have to be liable for the remainder of the debt whereas everything that is left in his states, we had to support out of our hard earned savings and loans that we had to acquire. They also mentioned that the estates is still not registered as they have been checking, so that automatically shows that we have not received the letter. I t has been an emotionally draining journey and all they care is the business profit and not the interest of their client who has been loyal until Covid affected the business.This case is from Wesbank department financing cars in Johannesburg
