Stellar service from Gridwise South Africa. 24 hours after placing an order for a gas geyser it was delivered. Thank you Ross for the most excellent customer service. 100% recommended for professionalism and customer care.
I commend SoSolar in Highlands North for their 5star customer service. It's rare to find a business today with excellent after sales service. Highly recommended.
Tried to buy a phone from vodacom online. Website not working so cannot pay. Contacted the bot, customer care, in store and email. All useless. Askedmfor a call back. Nothing. Sent a FB message eventually. The person who responded is illiterate and useless too. Told me to do exactly what I have already done. So vodacon will lose thousands now because of their employees who are useless.
Marius Muller at Game Pavilion has exceeded all levels of excellence at Game Pavilion. Very helpful, efficient and professional. A true pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended.
On 13/05/20 I bought a Vodacom social 1GB ticket for R39. Got an SMS to say it's allocated and the money deducted off my airtime. However, it does not explain how to access it and ive now bought TWO 1GB social tickets and can't access EITHER one. I've searched online and can't find out how to actually ACCESS it. When are bdial *111# it shows the R39x2 is deducted from my airtime, and shows R0 data! I phoned Vodacom customer care# and no one is working due to lockdown. This is beyond frustrating and I'm about to drop Vodacom for stealing my money!.
Four years ago I purchased a Samsung microwave. It was faulty and had to be returned. The replacement had the following problems: 1st year lightglobe blew 2x and i had to replace it. 1 month post the 2 yr guarantee the magnatron died, I took it to a samsung agent to replace. At this time, the heating started giving problems, sometimes scorching the food and sometimes undercooking it. 3 1/2 yrs after purchase, the transformer blew. Tried to locate a transformer, turns out nobody has one and the parts don't seem to be genuine Samsung as there is nothing engraved or printed on the parts. So probably pirate parts made in China for generic microwaves. Eventually found possible replacement part for R1200 excl labour. Microwave only cost R1600!! I'd already spent R1000 fixing all the other parts which blew in the first 3 years. Contacted Samsung, met with indifference and rudeness. Told I must take m/wave to their ONLY repair agent and at a cost of R450 diagnose a fault which I already KNOW is the fault (transformer) and then Samsung MIGHT do a depreciation on the machine and MIGHT offer me a couple of bucks in order to buy another Samsung microwave! The call centre agent was almost aggressively rude and had a disgusting attitude. Only ONE service agent for the entire part of the province. The previous service agent I used has stopped doing Samsung repairs bc of Samsung's attitude and behaviour. Warning to all consumer: do NOT purchase Samsung home appliances. Very few service agents (bc of Samsung's reputation) and their products are way overpriced for what you get. I have subsequently purchased an AEG grill m/wave which looks and performs far better than the Samsung ever did. I will never purchase another Samsung product again. EVER. Just not worth it as their microwaves especially seem to be dodgy compared to other cheaper brands even.
I have had the displeasure of being messed around by DSV every time someone uses them to send me parcels. They are completely useless and rude. Supposed to deliver yesterday, office calls me up to get my address and puts phone down in the middle of the conversation. Won't answer the phone when i return the call. Supposed to deliver today, i spend 2 1/2 HOURS on the phone to customer ''service'' (haha that's really funny, 'service') and they can't even get through to their own driver. Why does every other courier company manage to deliver on time but DSV just can't? I am going to TakeALot and BidorBuy and advising all my customers NOT to use DSV because I will not buy from people who use this useless company. They deserve to go out of business! Sit for 2 days to receive parcel and they still can't tell me when it will arrive bc they can't get hold of THEIR OWN DRIVER!!
At least the 3rd time i'm having issues with getting service from HOLB. The HO in Pineslopes are so useless it takes seeing to believe. Russell Hobbs, Salton - these are 2 'names' you need to think twice about buying because you will battle to get a good product, parts, service and information. A lot of the products are just bad copies of better brands and no one at HOLB seems to know *** they are doing. For eg. the mini kitchen (2 hotplates, oven) doesn't even have temperature graduations on the knob! It doesn't have a timer with a chime as advertised everywhere. The receptionist doesn't know who works where, what their designation is, people don't ever call you back, the entire company comes across as a joke. As for the 'service' dept in JNB CBD- what a ridiculous waste of time.

After seeing a promo poster for their “UNLIMITED Fixed Line Promotion" in a walk-in centre and being told by sales staff the contract of R599 incl. one did not pay for ANY landline or ANY cellphone calls from your Telkom landline, I phoned Telkom to double check this was a no-hidden-cost contract and was assured by 3 people it is. On 06/03/17 I spoke to Nolwazi, Mandisa and Faith at Telkom sales and they ALL confirmed that the R599 included ALL mobile and landline numbers and no operators were excluded. My contract was changed to this new contract that same day. On receiving my account, Telkom have charged me for certain calls despite this. I have phoned Telkom Accounts 6 times 20/06;23/06;28/06; 10/07; 18/07; 27/07 to ask why they are charging me for something they categorically stated and assured me I would not be charged for, and they cannot explain why. Each time they promise to call back but don’t. Today eventually the operations manager Clint called back and he could not explain what ‘UNLIMITED’ means. I asked him if unlimited meant with or without limits but he couldn’t tell me.
He said that all calls except Telkom to Telkom are charged for! This is the 1st time I have been told this. Now why would I change my previous contact with was R200 p/m for the same benefit and opt to pay nearly 3 times that amount for the same service?! He told me my acc will be credited for calls until today, but that I would be billed for all calls after today. ***? He refused pointblank to dig up and listen to my 3 conversations with the abovementioned Telkom staff where they promised and assured me that ALL calls were included in the UNLIMITED fixed line package. He was worse than useless, totally disinterested, and didn’t know anything about which operators are suddenly NOT included in the UNLIMITED fixed line package. He couldn’t even tell me how to tell which were not Telkom lines! This is impossible to do either with a land or mobile number. There was NO small print on the poster and at NO time did any of the 3 salespeople mention anything about certain operators being excluded. The proof of this is in our recorded telephone convos which no one at Telkom wants to locate and listen to because they know they’ll be proved wrong. Telkom think they can hide behind call centres, inept and untrained staff, and that the public just have to pay and shut up when Telkom misleads, misinforms and tries to defraud customers. I am not going to pay for calls to other operators because I am not in the wrong and I was told categorically that the R599 includes calls to ALL OPERATORS. I have reference numbers for these calls, times and dates as proof. Telkom has to keep to their advertised word as I will not accept anything less. I have invested many hours the past month trying to sort this out to no avail, being met with indifference and ignorance from Telkom. I am prepared to take this as far necessary in order for justice to be done and prevent Telkom ripping off other customers.

Early December 2016 I purchased 5 cans of PicknPay No Name Brand Tuna. Upon weighing the product, I discovered it was extremely underweight. When I contacted Pick n Pay on Facebook they ignored my complaint. Eventually after contacting them a few times more, they responded by asking me to fill in a questionnaire which I did. I sent it back to them and am still waiting today (over THREE MONTHS LATER) for a response from Pick n Pay. They did not treat the issue as important - that they are literally cheating / scamming / stealing money from their customers. How can they advertise a net weight which is completely incorrect? One can only imagine the huge profit Pick n Pay are making on selling underweight No Name Brand products. Pick n Pay NNB products are not to be trusted, nor are Pick n Pay as a company as they have done nothing to rectify this problem and do not deem it important enough to give the client feed back. This is not the first PnP NNB product I have purchased which is sorely underweight: their NNB frozen chicken livers are also invariably underweight.
Since this occurrence, I do not and will not shop at Pick n Pay as I do not have confidence in their honesty and ability to sell correctly weighed and advertised products to their customers.
