If I could give zero stars, I would. We thought we did our due diligence to get a reputable and honest service provider; however, as soon as we paid the 50% deposit of R16770, we were met with appalling customer service. Rudie was so condescending and rude. Our agreement has been breached & we are pursuing legal action to get our deposit back and also get a contractor who is actually credible to do the job. We wanted a seamless and professional service to get our roof waterproofed and sorted before the summer rains start. We have been met with a messy and shockingly poor customer service, plus a failure to deliver what has been agreed. As if that is not enough, the rudeness and ************** kicked in. I would implore you to save yourself the nightmare & get a reliable and professional service provider. This has been such a **** & they refuse to pay back our deposit. Unfortunately, I saw the reviews afterwards, and I see other customers have experienced the same challenges with them. It's such a ****, you meet a different person in the beginning, and they are reassuring & you think you are aligned. Then, as soon as you pay your deposit, they make unilateral changes, and you suddenly speak to another person you never knew was part of the equation, and they are incredibly rude. Literally, after we paid the deposit, it's been downhill from there. We will let the courts rule on this, but I would never recommend them under any circumstances.
I bought a brand new Chery Tiggo 4 Pro from CMH Westrand on the 22nd February 2025, not even a month in this car has given me trouble with not starting and displaying ESC warning lights and battery not working, etc ....I have called the Chery Roadside Assistance three times in the space of a month to report these issues. As a woman in a country that is not safe for women, using this vehicle poses a huge risk to my safety as I would never know when it will not start and if I will be in a secure location when it gives me trouble. Yesterday, they have taken the car to the workshop. Since the car was taken yesterday, I have not been updated on what is going on, when the car will be back or who is a contact person should I need to ask anything. I have paid for the car but I don't have a car to use and have to find my own way using public transport to work and also moving around with my kids. I asked the dealership about a courtesy vehicle during this time as this mechanical issue is not my fault but more a product quality issue and have not been assisted. The customer service from CMH Westrand and Chery is appalling, to say the least and the quality of the cars is not worth spending your hard-earned money on. I have had cars from Ford, VW, and BMW with zero issues over 6 years until I have sold them. This time, I was looking to go for something cheaper and gave these Chinese brands a try. It's ending up being costly with all this mess I am dealing with. I will be exploring other avenues to return this vehicle and get a good quality and reliable car again. I am writing this review to give a warning to anyone considering buying a more affordable car, to stay away from the Chery brand due to product quality and horrible after-service from CMH. Although Chinese car sales are going up due to affordability but just got a rude awakening about why I should stay with the trusted and known brands.
I had a contract with Cell C which was meant to come to an end on the 07th Sept 2024. I called in June to cancel when I received an sms & calls offering me an upgrade. I made it specifically clear that I will NOT be continuing with the service after my contract expiry date. I called again on the 8th August as they had said it was too early to cancel in June and I must call to cancel giving exactly a month notice (still weird), but nonetheless I comp**** and called on the 8th August & received an sms confirming the cancellation on this day, 25th September and 25th Oct I still had my bank account debited unauthorised by Cell C & the credit Bureau being fed incorrect information that I am owing. I have called the Cell C call centre & am being sent from pillar to post without any assistance, last lady I shared the cancellation sms with promised to call back and to this day nothing. In all my days of having a contract with Cell C, I have never missed a payment & now that I didn’t want to upgrade they are tarnishing my credit record with lies and not admitting the error on their end. Spent a lot of money on calls to them to get this resolved, I need it resolved and will go the ombudsman route if we have to. Think twice before dealing with Cell C or taking out any contract with them, they lack integrity.
It hasn’t even been a full two months since we installed the Wetility solar panels and I am having massive problems with it tripping our electricity frequently. I have called numerous times and they are so relaxed about the issue such that despite having the issue recurring for over two weeks no one has been sent to our house to assist. The support number hardly gets answered. If you want to keep your appliances and house safe from possible fire due to this constant tripping, DO NOT USE them. Rather find people who know what they are doing with good after sales support when issues arise. I am exploring my options to remove this from our property due to the headache it’s causing us, save yourself the trouble.
I am extremely disappointed at the unprofessional service and the staff’s lack of technical knowledge of their own SARS processes. I keep being sent from pillar to post on a refund due to me. I did my e-filing earlier in July 2024. On the 24th of July, I was advised that I had been referred for an audit and also have an outstanding tax return for 2010...which was strange as 2010 is over 14 years ago and I have been filing my returns without this being an issue all these other years. However, I comp**** and uploaded all documents required including the affidavit they required. Then on the 31st of July, I was again told that they couldn't assist me with the 2010 tax return but would have to book an appointment for me to do it telephonically with a SARS consultant. It was a far date and I had to wait for weeks but again was patient throughout the 28 days. Today is finally the date of the appointment, the SARS consultant tells me this tax return cannot be done telephonically because it’s for 2010 and the system doesn’t populate for dates above five years and I would need to come in person but the next available date is the 9th October....which would mean waiting another month for an appointment when I have spoken to two SARS staff who knew the IRP5 is for 2010 and could have booked the correct appointment type to begin with. It's their own process and how can staff members servicing the public not have adequate knowledge to advise the public accordingly? It is such a huge inconvenience and unprofessional. Now I must once again call in again and book a fresh appointment for a date in October, what a waste of time and all this happens while my refund is still withheld because of this 2010 tax return I am being sent from pillar to post on. So unfair, utterly disappointed.
If I could give zero stars, I honestly would.....what a horrible experience. My first property sale experience has literally been ruined by this very ************ property agent Travis Smith who has zero integrity and very shady. I bought a property sold by Fine & Country in the Randpark Ridge area but honestly had the worse experience....from occupational rent being waived by the agent on a side deal without my knowledge or consent, main switch and stacking door which needed to be repaired still remains unfixed, key handover was nothing like other agents do, a real let down, No fairness and objectivity in representing both the seller and purchasers interests...... really has all been about the sellers interests. Despite all of this I kept my cool. What I am not willing to accept is being ****med out of my occupational rent and utilities due. We just bought a property that registered on Friday 7th June and the OTP stated that we would only take occupation on the 1st Friday after registration which was seven days after date of registration (14th June). The OTP further makes a provision that "If the date of occupation does not coincide with the date of registration, the party enjoying occupation of the property while registered in the other party’s name will pay occupational rent and pro rata utilities" which was to be paid to the transfer attorney (Houw & Heyl). Now the transfer attorney did not pay the pro rata rent to us and on enquiry, they said the agent told them the occupational rent was waivered and we should follow up with the agent. We did not waiver the rent and did not know of this agreement or made such change in writing as per the requirements of the OTP. We followed up with the agent who told us the seller had a hard time with the property she was buying and he would help her with half of the payment for this etc (I honestly don't understand what this had to do with this agreement)....he however promised we would get the payment today. Today we get a call from the transfer attorney Louw & Heyl to state that there is no occupational rent due to us as the seller moved on the 1st friday after registration. We don't agree with this interpretation and feel there are side deals that were made between all the other parties without us or our interests taken into consideration. On reading the other appauling reviews on ****** experienced from the same branch, this all makes sense now....I could mention other incidents and frustrations that honestly were not okay during this whole process but I let it slide and did not have the energy to address but now seeing many others experienced the same from this agency and branch. I don't have to spell out that I am the only party who happens to be black and being lowballed in this transaction on a matter that is clearly provided for on the agreement and unfair that I even have to spend my time resolving. I however will not let this slide until my money is paid and am seeking legal remedies and have communicated this to all the other parties. But warning all prospective property buyers.....please be aware and do your due diligence properly on the agent you buy from before engaging. Encouraging all others who have faced these injustices to be vocal and report it to the right professional channels too, it cannot go on in 2024!!!
I am so frustrated at the poor service despite numerous calls to have my query resolved and acknowledgement of the error on their end with a promise to have it resolved and someone contact me back, however no one comes back to me and its still not fix. I had a Discovery bank account which I closed in 2022 Oct and the account was not owing anything. I opened a new Discovery bank account in March this year and immediately my debit card was on negative as I was charged bank fees for all the months Nov 2022 to Feb 2023 when I didnt have an active Discovery bank account. I have called the call centre, spent so much airtime on the calls to resolve this and I get confirmation all the time that they see the error and it will be resolved and someone will call me back to confirm once its done, then it goes quiet for weeks thereafter. I call again and follow up and its the same song and dance. So frustrating.
So disappointed I got caught up in this scam. Saw their instagram post and went to their website to purchase and even paid for delivery in December 2022. We are now in March and I have not received my order or any reply to any of my enquiries. Be careful in these streets, Mzansi Closet is such a scam.
So much dishonesty......total lack of integrity from the school My son attended Curro Thatchfield in 2021 until grade 7. When communication came out to apply for our kids for grade 8 in their school, I did not submit an application as I knew my financial situation had changed and would not afford to keep my son in high school there. My sons teacher contacted me to ask if my sons would be moving to gr8 at the school since they didnt receive an application, I again confirmed that he will not be attending and luckily we made had this communication via text as my line was bad when she called. My 2021 fees were always paid on time and up to date for the year. Jan 2022 I get a bill that I owe fees for grade 8 for my son who has never set foot at the school for grade 8. I am told we should have notified the school and I fail to understand what more communication did the school need from me. I clarify and the matter dies down for a whole year. 2023 I had moved and my financial situation has changed and could afford to send my son to a more affordable Curro in the area and I had applied for him for 2023 at the Curro New Road, only to be called by some attorneys this morning that I have been handed over. When trying to understand, it seems the matter is from the Curro Thatch field and was never resolved by the lady Pearl I had been liaising with. My question is what I am paying for, in this economic climate they will try to swindle our money we have worked so hard for. So disgusting and so dishonest. I am so upset and I have communicated to the school that my son will not be returning to the school group when it opens because I refuse to be subjected to this abuse, so stressful. We can meet in court if we need to but I am not paying my hard earned cash for something I did not receive a service for.
I paid up my Wonga account in December 2021 with VVM, I requested a paid up letter and have not received this to date. I called again this week and am being sent from pillar to post with empty promises to send it firstly within 3 days, called again and was told my letter is in a computer of a lady who no longer works there. Such appalling service. I still don’t have my paid up letter and they never updated the credit bureau that this account is paid up. Feeling so helpless and so bullied by VVM.
