Still waiting for a resolution... Really poor experience with VC SPAR Brakpan and the SPAR2U service. Incorrect items delivered after "confirming" substitutions, and produce that was completely inedible. I’ve been dealing with Customer Care for over a week (Ref: CC260220022). I was promised an email from the Retail Operations Manager to resolve the issue, but I’m still waiting. It seems once they have your money, the "Customer Care" part disappears. Disappointing service for a local store.
Budget Insurance cancelled my policy without my consent and without any notice, despite my premium being paid in full for the month. The cancellation occurred on 22 December (my birthday, no less) after I merely updated my banking details to another account in my own name. No call, no warning, no verification — just immediate cancellation. I was forced to take cover elsewhere due to their actions. To make matters worse, Budget Insurance then failed to refund the premium for a policy they chose to terminate. I submitted a formal written complaint and demand. No acknowledgement, no response, no refund. This is poor administration at best and unfair treatment at worst. If this is how Budget handles paying clients, I strongly recommend thinking twice before trusting them with your insurance.
DO NOT TRUST THEIR “SAME-DAY DELIVERY” LIES I am posting this publicly because Takealot has shown absolutely no honesty, accountability, or integrity. I PAID for same-day delivery — and I have the proof — yet Takealot unilaterally changed my order to next-day delivery without my permission. This is false advertising, plain and simple. Then, when THEY failed to deliver, I requested a refund. Instead of immediately returning my money for a service they never provided, they suddenly claim it will take up to 5 business days. They take your money instantly, but returning it becomes a whole process. Completely unacceptable. To make matters even worse, the parcel never even left their warehouse. It was never picked, never dispatched, never on a vehicle — NOTHING. And yet Takealot only refunded the product price and kept the delivery fee. Let me be absolutely clear: 👉 Charging for a delivery you did NOT provide is *****. 👉 Keeping delivery fees when no delivery was attempted is *****. 👉 Selling a same-day delivery service and not honouring it is *****. This is *********, deceptive business practice. Takealot cannot keep taking customers’ money for services they KNOW they are not delivering. It is unacceptable and it violates basic consumer rights. I will be escalating this to: ✔ The Consumer Goods & Services Ombud ✔ The Competition Commission (for deceptive marketing) ✔ My bank for chargeback on *****ulent billing ✔ Every public review platform to warn other consumers Takealot, this is not a “mistake” — this is systemic misconduct. You do NOT charge for services you fail to provide. You do NOT delay refunds for your own failures. You do NOT keep delivery fees when nothing left your warehouse. Enough is enough. South Africans deserve better than this.
Have always been a loyal payflex client for many years, after a recent issue I dont think I will support them anymore, my available balance always used to refresh as payment are made and become available again, suddenly after my last purchase thats not the case, spoke to support and now is suddenly R0 available ? I have much higher limit than what is owed and cant use it now but they say the system updates it... this is not acceptable Payflex you messed up my account!!!
Pathetic service yet again, with poor effort, this is after I was a client for many years back in the day. Nice one Miway, being told you dont want me as a client due to claims history but only had 1 claim back in 2009, then when I ask for a list he all of a sudden cant access my profile? Pathetic
🚨 WARNING: Irresponsible Courier Company – The Courier Guy I am beyond disappointed with The Courier Guy and how they handled an incident caused by one of their drivers, Chenston, driving an Isuzu bakkie Chenston drove into my parked vehicle, causing visible damage — and the incident was caught on video. Despite several promises to cover the costs of repairs, Courier Guy and the driver have since gone completely silent, ignoring all further communication and failing to take accountability. Chenston was on duty and acting under instruction from Courier Guy — meaning the company is directly responsible for the damage. Yet their complete lack of accountability and professionalism is appalling. If you value your time, property, or peace of mind — think twice before using The Courier Guy. Afrihost – Extremely Disappointed with AirMobile Support I’ve been a loyal Afrihost customer since 2013, but my recent experience with their AirMobile division has been nothing short of frustrating. I’ve been trying to do a simple eSIM swop to a physical SIM for weeks now due to a broken device — yet the process has become a nightmare. Despite clearly providing my address in the email (which they claimed was missing), my message was ignored. When I resent the same email, there was no acknowledgment or admission of their oversight. I even agreed to pay the applicable swop fee, but after that — complete silence. No SIM card. No response. No service. To make matters worse, it now seems they’ve issued a new eSIM instead of the physical SIM I specifically requested — defeating the entire purpose of this long and painful process. This level of service is unacceptable. Communication is poor, accountability is lacking, and the client support feels non-existent. Sadly, after more than a decade with Afrihost, I’m now seriously considering switching providers.
Worst experience ever, made online booking, went to collect and pay, could not swipe card for more than 5k at a time for some bazzare reason, oh and they refuse to swipe more than once , wanted to swop to my partner instead for different bank, oh no now they want bank statements but we are ready to pay, like what the hell? Oh and quite the unprofessional attitudes of the reception/ booking ladies to put the cherry on the cake, thank you for waisting my money and time.....
I had a terrible experience at this store. The staff, especially the cashier named Dumisile Makhoba, were extremely rude. I picked an item from the shelf, clearly marked with a price, but when I got to the till, the price was suddenly changed without any consultation. When I questioned this, I was met with hostility instead of an explanation. To make matters worse, when my partner tried to take a photo of the product for proof, Dumisile and the staff started shoving and pushing. This behavior is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. It’s shocking how customers are treated here. I would not recommend shopping at this store unless you’re prepared to deal with rude and disrespectful staff who don’t honor their own pricing.
I am a rather new client, I cannot for the life of me get the notifyme notifications disabled on my Profile, bearing in mind I have been in the IT industry over 15 Years. You can add but not remove. I have emailed support and complains no responce at all. I am being billed now for something stupid. This is not acceptable to pay 0.60c per email or sms, where i can be notified for free in my banking app. Please assist urgently.
