Card Skimmers operate out of Uitenhage KFC on Caledon Road. On 29 September. 2023 at about 4pm I used the kiosk placing an order for R108.80 The card declined and one of the staff grabbed my card and rubbed it on her chest saying sometimes you need to warm it up first. Luckily I was immediately suspicious as there is no reason for staff to ever handle my card so I changed my card limits to R0. This morning at 3:30 whilst I was very much in bed I got a notification that a transaction failed due to low card limits. What makes matters worse is that this is not the first time I had issues at that branch. A couple of months ago I was told the card reader was inoperative and the one at the drivethrough would be used so my card was taken out of my sight and when brought back a mobile card machine for drivethrough along with it. I cancelled my card immediately and sent an email to manager of that KFC branch but never got any reply. Who is going to pay my card replacement fee this time?
A very big thank you to the Graaff-Reinet Branch. Very quick and efficient service even on the hottest day we've had this summer.
For someone who is a Vodacom Contract Customer for only 9 months, i'm disappointed and shocked by the calls i get from Vodacom trying to up-sell. Trying to push me from a 50min 500MB contract to a 100min 1GB contract. No matter how much i say that i do not need it or am unlikely to fully utilize such an upgrade as i barely use all my minutes and data at the moment, still they push. The "upgrade" would then cost me R93 more per month and even though i repeatedly said i would rarely benefit the response is always: "I will benefit later in my contract when i might call more or use more data" Vodacom. my contract is R797.99 per month, the most i've spent per month so far is R832.98. Why are you pushing an upgrade on customers who clearly do not need it? It would be a different case if I was spending R200 a month extra on calls and data but i clearly do not. After multiple times of trying to explain to your salesman how the math do not make any sense they keep pushing me to upgrade. What ***** would spend almost R100 a month on something they aren't using currently just in case they do need it in the future. Why are your salespeople so pushy? After 12 minutes of this i just hung up. Listen to the recording, i beg you. Do not contact me for upselling in the future. If i need it, i will contact you.
Standard Bank has been harrassing me for many years now with insurance phone calls. I have repeatedly asked the calls to stop. I did not ask for a quote and with every call I tell them to stop calling for life insurance or funeral etc yet the calls continue.
After 3 calls to Capitec due to not being able to link my new Capitec card to PayPal I was informed that PayPal has been blacklisted by Capitec and no new cards can be linked to PayPal. I was informed that I should use a different bank's card. I can't remember the last time a bank advised me to go to a different bank. Why not fix the problem instead of chasing your customers away? The previous agent wanted me to drive to the nearest branch which in my case is 150km away which would have been a complete waste since PayPal is blacklisted. Could someone please explain to me why PayPal is blacklisted and when this issue will be fixed? I'm grateful for the last agent I talked to sparing me petrol and a day off from work as it would have been a utter waste of money and time. Come on Capitec, you can do better. You're the bank I switched to when Standard Bank told me I had to open a 4th account for international payments. I switched because now I only need 1 account to do everything. Do you want me to switch again?
It seems Nedbank no longer responds to issues raised on HP. I've been trying unsuccessfully for the past week to get a nedbank ID. After countless phonecalls and escalations it just doesn't get resolved. All I get is promises that it should be resolved in a day or two. Well when you phone me at the end of the month asking why i haven't paid, my response will also be that it should be resolved in a day or two. Makes me sad to be part of such a pathetic bank. Only opened my acc on saturday. Already regretting it.
Placed an order in March and in june only part of the order was delivered. After phoning and online chatting for a couple of weeks with no idea of where my other items were or when i might get it i requested a refund. Was contacted 22 July with refund instructions which i sent back with requested docs. Its been almost a month and I have not been refunded nor was i contacted regarding the refund. I have no idea what the hold up is and its difficult to get hold of anyone who can assist in that regard.
Loot uses FedEx to deliver parcels and they even give a tracking number on the order page but no matter what i do i can never get any info regarding my parcel Fedex just shows "This tracking number cannot be found, please check the number or contact the sender." I have emailed loot regarding this issue but haven't received any reply. Nor can I phone them as they are only accepting email (which seems are immediately deleted) or social media which i loathe. So i'm here as a last resort. Can you please sort out your tracking system as it might as well not exist at present.
I have a credit limit of R2500 and owe R275. I've transferred R3000 onto that card today and thought I could use about R1000 in credit whilst waiting for that funds to clear. That would still be way below the R2500 credit limit. But when I tried to make a payment I was told I have insufficient funds. What's the point of the over R2000 credit limit if I cannot use it? Worst credit card ever
I've been trying to contact takealot all morning. I've stuggled to get a contact number for them and eventually found one on an old invoice. according to takealot tracking my parcel was delivered yesterday but i didn't receive it. How the hell am i supposed to get a hold of someone to sort this out if they don't answer the phone and don't answer emails?
