Shocking that this restaurant is still in operation. We tried to make a booking for a special event - calling, emailing and till today, no feedback. Secondly, service is just not there. Waiters are not trained properly and service way too slow. Your prices are high. Pls, dont serve cheap products to me. Your icecream is the worse kind of icy cream you can find. This should not be on a menu. Doubt if you will see us again. Its just not enjoyable to eat there any more. Venue is lovely, service and food lacks.
We are long-standing clients. Our Spurs in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town is good - so no complaints about service, location, cleanliness etc. Big surprise that Spur decided to put profits before client favorites eg the chocolate brownie. In our eyes, it was one of the best in our area by far and we ordered it regularly. Now, it has been taken off the menu totally. What a dissapointment !!! The new deserts simply does not do it for us. Its not what we usually would order. Pls bring back old favorites like the Brownie and some of the other favorites of the past. Profit should not be the only reason to remove something off the menue. Big dissapointement. Another point - who on earth decided that the pensioners special has to be served on a small plate?. Pensioners are not kids and we also dont want our food to fall out the plate. Pls serve it in a normal larger plate. Its one of the most irritating things to experience.
Our constant talk about Canaloni lead us to La Romantica on Meerendal estate again. If we go to a pasta restaurant, we go there to eat something that is different and not a usual item made at home. What a dissapointment!!! Yes, they changed their menu. No more baked pasta dishes. Frankly, what is left are all dishes we make at home - so of no interest to us. Even their burgers are like that of anyone else's. Why drive all the way there ? Paying high prices, eating what we eat at home - not again. I dont mind waiting for my food a little longer, but the reason we eat out is we want to order something a bit more special. You have lost us for good. Lovely venue, but your menu is not suited for the venue any more. Very average menu... bye bye for us. Wont see us again.

After a few weeks of hell, no internet and countless calls, still i have had not a single call from any management member of staff. I have lost a lot of money, clients were ****med out of their money in the process by a ****mer and after 5 days, we received the first emails again. It took you 5 days to also increase my mail box size by the way .... This company is pathetic !!!
I am a company and for 3 days already, i have been without my business email. No mails are coming through. This happened after i reported something to them, we changed my password and that was it. Clearly, some settings have changed on their side, now preventing me from receiving my business mails. I have spoken to many people daily and spent hours on the telephone with them. Managers refuse to speak to you - as they are "too busy" and hiding behind the young technical staff who cannot help you any further either. I was told to wait till they contact me next week.... yes, next week. I am unable to do my work, speak to my clients or set up the relevant appointments. This is costing me a huge amount of money daily. Bottom line - they simply do not care !!! That is clear. I have 3 accounts with them. The best I can do for myself is get rid of them as soon as possible !!! I am so mad already that people are so disrespectful to their clients. MWEB - you are a disgrace !!!
Three years ago we took out a contract with 3 phones on it. Two were for phone upgrades and one just for data and calls - no phone. Three years down the line, we discovered that the number for this service, was not ours and we have been paying thousands of rands without receiving any service. Yesterday i tried to cancel that number as it is not ours. What a nightmare? Fours calls, twice i put the phone down as the person did not listen to me and kept reading their scripts. I got so mad having to redo their silly security questions over and over before i could even get to the reason for my call. Well, after being cut several times, having noisy bad lines, i believe this number was cancelled - but not without adding extra charges, and a 30 day notice period as well. This is crazy. This number does not belong to us, never has and we have paid for over 3 years for this already. Still i am being penalized by Vodacom. My suggestion to Vodacom - pls up the game regarding to your client services. Include people who can make decisions that also considers the situation - in my case - paying for a number we did not have. Call centre staff are readers and little insight in anything else. As long as Vodacom benefits every time, they have achieved their goal. Note your ranking - a one. That is shocking. Management should seriously look into situations like this to get the goodwill of your paying clients again. You have lost mine totally.
Oh goodness, what is happening with this chain? N1 City branch - i stopped to pick up something to eat. No serviette and i therefor asked for it. I got a handful of toilet paper - yes, not kidding you - toilet paper as they did not have serviettes. I declined it. Tygervalley Branch - i ordered my breakfast sausage Mc****in a few times and on two occasions, did not receive the hashbrown with the meal. I paid for it and as it happened before, I checked and I drove around again to ask for it and was told they do not have stock. Needless to say, the number of times McDonald's ice-cream machine is not operational is not on either. That happens at numerous branches - Durbanville, Observatory etc. etc. Never an apology.... and their staff look at you as if they are doing you a favor.
I contacted Bosch to have a large appliance seen to. i then was referred to the company they send clients to. They clearly have young unskilled people in their call centre. I have called them again, requested to speak to a manager - not once was my call put through or returned in a space of over 2 weeks. This is the report i posted about the company they recommend to their clients. After reading the other reviews, i almost feel bad to add to this companpy's woes - but i cannot not do it ! They represent companies like Bosch or Siemens, yet, besides wanting money upfront, their service is terrible. I am waiting since the 15th June already for a small part to be replaced. I paid immediately. And they forgot to order the part. Now over 2 weeks later, with me fuming already, i hope they will be replacing the part tomorrow. I had to phone in to discover they forgot to order my part. Yes, i paid them to order it too, but they forgot. I am reporting them to Bosch as well. In both cases, i have called these companies and asked to speak to a manager. Still - not one person on both sides has called me back.
