I placed an order for 2 x Queen Headboards on Takealot on the 6 April 2025 and almost a month later only do they cancel the order saying no stock, yet they continue to advertise the item at a higher price. Takealot realised that they adverytised the item below cost and use the no stock as an excuse to cancel my order without my permision. This is not the first time that they have done this. They then credit your Takelaot account instead of refunding your bank account to very conveniently force you to buy from them again. Their service is degrading by the day.
I have been requesting a basic Cession Letter from FNB for over 3 - 4 weeks . You cannot call the department as they do not take telephonic calls, they only deal over email. When you send them an email you get a response stating that they will attend within 48 hours. In my case it is almost 48 days and absolutely no response. It is really frustrating from a company like FNB to totally disregard their Clients and ignore their requests. They are more than welcome to give me a call if they care.
On the 15th September 2023 I purchased online the Superflex 10 Gig at R299.00 and paid with my credit card. A few days thereafter I received my sim card (9088019382) and not knowing that I cannot port my existing number to Superflex, I went ahead and did so. It has been an absolute nightmare from there onwards. I fortunately ported my number back to my previous Operator. From day one I have had not a single day’s service from this Superflex product. I thought that after my number had been ported away from MTN, the Superflex would revert back to normal and I would be able to use it. It has “no service” on the sim card. I have sent numerous mails to MTN to terminate this “month-to-month” contract but to date have had absolutely no feedback, although they claim to respond and/or resolve your problem within 24 hours. I am now a week down the line and no luck and no response.
I am usually very happy with their service, but placed an order around the 19th September 2023 and trying to get feedback without any joy. The only way to commuicate with them is via Whatsapp which is an absolute joke. They just cannot help. I keep getting notified on the whatsapp chat that admin will contact me, but nothing. I am extremely dissapointed with my recent experience. Please can someone assist.
I bought a Hisensen air fryer from Takaot on the 11 Dec 2022. On the 02 May 2023 if stopped working. I contacted Takelaot via their app on the 9th May 2023 and logged a return on the faulty item. I was immediately provided with a number of options to which I requested a replacement. On the 13th May 2023 (4 days later) I had a brand new product delivered to my door without question. This was and is AWESOME CUSTOMER service from Takealot. This is why I will a;ways use them to purchase products on line. Their returns policy is one of the best ever encountered. Takealot please keep up the awesome service.
I would like to commend SPL - Service Parts Logistics and specifically Mphikeleli Nyushiman. For abouut 6 months I had been searching for a processor fan for my ASUS Zenbook. After having called the registered suppliers and distribution agents in South Africa I was unable to source the fan. I then decided to call SPL and within 2 Weeks I had my fan. Thanks to the awesome Customer service from Mphikeleli Nyushiman I now have an operating machine once again. SPL management- you guys have a star in Mphikeleli Nyushiman whi is an asset to your company. Keep up the outstanding service.
Bad Customer service. I ordered squash shoes on the 28th Dec 2022 and was advised that they would be delivered by no later than the 4th or 5th. It is now the 5th and on querying it now on the 5th, I am advised that the goods are on their way. I then get a mail to say that my order is cancelled. I then have to again phone only to be told that they were damaged and hence the order cancelled. I took a squash membership out for the month of January 2022 based on receiving these shoes and not all my plans have been ruined. Bab bad service from Mr. Price Sports. I will never order from them again.

There are not enough stars to rate One Day Only. I have been dealing with an individual by the name of Shahieda S who is truly Customer focused and displays this with ease. I had a return after 6 months and they took my concerns into account and treated me as a loyal Customer and resolved my issue in the shortest possible time. My item was replaced without any questions and in record breaking time. I can only commend One day Only on the caliber of staff they employ and their dedication and commitment to Customer service. One Day Only ROCKS!!! They are truly the best. Well done One Day Only.
Today we used Pick n Pay's ASAP service for the first time. It is a REAL BAD pathetic service. DO NOT USE THEM. Our order arrived within an hour only to receive someone else's contents of water and rolls. Their order was probably worth R100.00 where mine was over R.600.00. I am sure that the other party feel they have won the lotto as they received some awesome product to the value of R.600 plus. It is now 6 hours later and I still DO NOT have my order. If I could rate them minus 20 I would.
