I am extremely dissatisfied with the customer experience I have received from Cool Ideas. Our fibre internet connection recently went down. We followed all the required troubleshooting steps on our side and confirmed that the fault is not within our home network. The issue has been identified as being on Cool Ideas’ side, specifically related to an account verification failure within their system. Despite this being confirmed, the experience with customer support has been very disappointing. I have repeatedly been assured that the issue would be handled with urgency and that I would receive call-backs with updates. Unfortunately, none of those promises were honoured. Each time I had to follow up myself, and even then I was given no clear timelines, no tangible progress, and no real resolution. Reliable internet connectivity is essential for work, and this outage has significantly disrupted our ability to operate. What is most frustrating is not just the outage itself, but the lack of ownership, communication, and urgency from the support team. At this point, if the matter cannot be resolved promptly, I will have no choice but to terminate my services with Cool Ideas and move to another provider.
Extremely disappointed with the reception at Pierre van Reyneveld Vet. Despite being a client since 2019, my pets were wrongly listed under another name. When I raised it, the receptionist was rude, dismissive, and refused to acknowledge their error. I asked to speak to the manager due to the unprofessional treatment. While the vets have always been great, I won’t return because of this unacceptable front-desk experience.
DStv Customer Service Team, I am writing to formally request the immediate cessation of unsolicited sales calls that I have been receiving multiple times per day from your representatives. I am not a customer of DStv and have never provided my phone number or personal information to your company. I find this repeated contact to be intrusive and a violation of my privacy. Furthermore, I believe this practice contravenes the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of South Africa, which mandates that personal information should only be processed if it is necessary, relevant, and done with the consent of the individual. I hereby demand that my personal information be promptly removed from your call centre database and that my number be added to your Do Not Call list to prevent any future unsolicited contact. I trust you will treat this matter with the urgency and seriousness it deserves. Please confirm in writing that you have taken the necessary steps to comply with my request.
I have cancelled my services with Supersonic on 1 Jan 2024. I received email confirmation that the service has been stopped. Yet you still take the debit orders off my account. I have phoned with no assistance. I have emailed with no assistance. I stopped using your service because of the terrible customer service and even after canceling it continues.
MTN Store - Coastlands Gatemax Abysmal customer service. Vuyo Baduza, the sales consultant assisting me in-store, keeps explicitly promising to call me back but has not done so once. I have done the pre-order for the Samsung S23 deal, I have been in the store to try and upgrade, but only received empty promises. It's one issue that their is a system constraint, but when someone repeatedly promises to phone and does not, it is unacceptable.
I have phoned in regards to overcharging of my account. We have relocated to a new home and I have requested a transfer of address and subscription. We have moved and received the fibre in the new address however, I am still being charged for the old address' subscription for a few months now in addition to the new address and subscription. I have repeatedly phoned. Received a case number and multiple promises but no resolution to the problem has been provided. No one seems to care. Pathetic.
Good day, I keep receiving phone calls on a daily basis from MiWay insurance. I have probably stated more than three times to your sales team that I am not interested in joining MiWay and have asked them to stop phoning me. This is starting to becoming highly intrusive. All that you have achieved is to completely alienate me from EVER considering MiWay as a potential service provider. It is absolutely ridiculous to receive 2-3 calls PER DAY. I have been friendly up to now. If the phone calls continue I am going to seek legal action. I DO NOT CONSENT TO YOU PHONING ME NOR DO I CONSENT IN YOU HAVING MY CONTACT DETAILS ON YOUR RECORDS. I DO NOT WANT TO RECEIVE OFFERS, COMMUNICATIONS OR ANY OTHER FORMS OF INTERACTION WITH MIWAY AT ALL. If this continues I will invoke my write according to the POPI act. As you are well aware of the POPI act and the amendments of 2020 I am fully entitled to being removed from your call list.
Good day Vodacom, I keep on receiving promotional phone calls from ********** , ********** and ********** . I receive 3-4 phone calls everyday from these above-stated numbers. I have stated clearly and respectfully that I am not interested in the promotions at the moment. I am not a Vodacom user and this harassment of phone calls will only keep me away as a customer instead of joining your network. Please stop this.
