Just another company that are going down the toilet. If you want to buy a car they are advertising that isn’t close enough to visit the showroom don’t bother. I’m wondering if some advertised cars actually exist and don’t even bother trying to get in touch with the branch they don’t answer their phone and filling the form in is a total waste of time they never contact you. Even if the car you are enquiring about did exist but has been sold it would be common courtesy to let you know. Very very bad customer service. Would never get away with this disgusting customer service in any other country
As a follow up to why not to use britishtv.org after complaining about their service, which is paid for until March, they just aren’t answering me at all so looks like I’ve wasted my money. So as far as I can see it’s a **** now
It was my birthday yesterday so we booked for 4 of us for date night. What a disaster! We arrived just before 7pm with a bottle of champagne eventually we managed to get 4 champagne glasses one had red lipstick on it so sent it back, no apology just “its not my colour” quip from the new manager. We asked for the date night menu and eventually received 1 very grubby looking piece of paper, we waited another 15mins and asked if we could order, manager went away he obviously couldn’t get a waiter so came back himself at which stage he informed us date night was off , we complained and he went to see the chef and came back and said the chef wasn’t happy but as long as we didn’t want 1 of the starters that he didn’t have he’d do the date night menu. At this point we finished our fizz and left never to return. We believe that , once again, it’s changed hands so my words to the new owner are you’d better be a bit more hands on before you lose your locals.
I have heard quite a few stories of lack of customer service and I have now experienced it twice for myself. I list my id book on a recent cruise and although I filled their stupid form in at least 4 times but they must do nothing about it as they never gave any feedback so you presume they haven’t found it. Not so it was actually in their office safe. When friends enquired onboard they had it so I can only presume they never bother following up on their lost property forms .As any South African will understand this has caused me terrible problems
I recently ordered 2 lots of cement online they took R7600 from my account and only then informed me that they were out of stock. I now have to wait between 2-10 working days to get my money back and can’t afford to buy cement from anywhere else until I get it back. How can these ****** take money from you and then tell you they have no stock. My emails remain unanswered with only the usual reply that they are dealing with a larger than usual load. I’m not surprised if they ***** your money on a regular basis which seems like the case . They should have a system that stops them taking money for something they don’t have in any other country the banks would intervene
Takealot up to their trucks again . I’ve only ever purchased 3 things from them and have always said I would never buy from them again but as they are about to have competition from Amazon I thought they might have improved but no. First thing I bought from them had been used and obviously returned before they sent it to me, second item was fine, third item arrived and was completely different to what I ordered. I had organised a plumber to fit it so both of us were inconvenienced . I’m returning it but it will interesting to see if I get my delivery charge back. They are a useless company and I can’t wait for Amazon to arrive in Cape Town
A very big thumbs up to Wibernet for fantastic service. Today, Sunday , my dish had blown off during the night phoned them at 8.15am they were here by 11am fixed by 11.15 am no charge on a Sunday . Now that’s what I call service !!
I would never buy plants or flowers from them as their quality is terrible but I had some voyager points to get rid of. I bought 2 orchids they were very unimpressive to begin with and not what you would expect for the price one of them was dying within a week which i wouldn't expect from an orchid. I complained and the only response I got was " you have to complain within 48hrs and you've had it a week". I think,as most flowers and plants are gifts, the people who buy these don't see what has been delivered and as they're a gift nobody likes to complain, and that's how they get away with it. Rather buy from Woolworths you know what you're getting
I have been collecting Carrol Boyes for some years and I recently inherited a picture frame or at least the base the frame had been broken. As Carroll Boyes offer a repair service I asked them if I could purchase the frame only, their response was no we don’t sell just the frame but you can purchase a new item at a cost of R2899 . So much for their repair department . Needless to say it will be awhile before I purchase anything else from them
After their initial response passing the buck to one of their outlets to sort out, they refused , they have not answered my emails . Soo typical of this company.
